Using A Die To Create A Textured Background - Mixing Old and New

- Today, I shared two cards featuring the medallion die from the Master Layouts 14 die set! I used the die to create some texture and to ground my focal images. I also used other dies in the set for my greetings, and I combined some older stamps and dies for my focal images. The older Elegant Asters stamps and dies are a timeless collection that I reach for over and over again! And the new Lovely Lace created part of the beautiful background and the greetings for today's projects. Thank you so much for joining us today!

Rewatching this video because I'm going to play with my ML14 medallion today. You know what else we could do? Cut 2 of the medallions, glue the first one down, color in the gaps with copics, then glue the second one down (to hide any color that might get onto the medallion! I'm going to try that now. Thanks Gina for always bringing fresh ideas to us!!

81° here in middle Georgia. Just 2 days ago we were warned of overnight freezing. Tomorrow will bring rain. Spring is so unpredictable and volatile. Great cards! Btw, LOVED my mystery box. Very interesting way not to have white edges, and thanks for the tip to use a sharpie at top of flat side of stamp and top of die for matching them up too! Neat idea!

Love the white/clear embossing with ink blending! A wonderful background and the way you match your inks to your focal point is AWESOME! Gotta remember to make it happen - I have a bunch of GinaK Design product and need to think of it a smidge differently going forward! Is there a “key” or description of the various. master layout dies? I have various dies but love when you pull out a “set” and just move forward. I do mostly A2 cards - so if you have a recommendation, would love to know. Thanks for the great video!

I love and own A LOT of Gina K. All the ink in reg ? Mini size with re inkers, as well as Rina's colors. Now for my heartfelt comment. Why are the Color Labels not a free download like most companies? Before I even looked for them, I knew they weren't going to be a free download. How? Gina spent too much time advertising them. I'll continue using my P. Touch labeler and coloring with my gel plate the way Tim showed. I just feel it would have been a benefit to Gina K's customers. Im really not being nasty just speaking for me and others that love our Gina K products even with limited income.

I love sunflowers and recently bought the Sensational Sunflowers stamps and dies set. But no matter what I try I can’t get the stamps to print out properly. I tried putting them on the lid of my Misti and laying the paper over the stamp and rubbing it directly but even then had limited success. Any suggestions please? I have tried several times and am very frustrated and disappointed.
What is the brown mat that you put your flower down on you kind of stuck it to it. You put something on the back so it would stay but what is the mat called if I wanted to buy one what do I? How much are they and how? Where do I get them?
Does Tom ever cook ? And what do you store your new small short brushes in
He does cook! He makes an awesome turkey burger! I use the brush stand from Simon Says Stamp right now.
Canada's Thanksgiving is in Oct. Boxing day is December 26.
