- The Azuma is a Premium Tier 9 Japanese Heavy Cruiser. It has 9x 310mm guns. This video shows 1 game, played on Warrior's Path, where I showcase myself with my thought process on what happens in the match, and give insight on what I think of the ship.

Love this ship. The ship is so narrow in the water it's very common for shots to just miss you on either side. It isn't uncommon for me to have 2million+ potential damage thrown my way in a match. Acceleration is good and your heal comes up fast, allowing you to weather storms you thought you otherwise shouldn't.
Love her to bits . Fits my play style perfectly . One of the few ships I always have good games (even on defeats). Her railguns with HE are devastating ... Big Fan !

One nice thing about the azuma, is that people tend to underestimate her alot, more than often you can go dark and heal back all the health you lost under two minutes, very ready to sling more HE! Also for some reason CVs dont usually target her that often even thou she's sitting alone, most probably because of the chance of having DFAA instead of hydro, and the amount of distance needed to travel to strike her

I was considering the Azuma, I already have the Yoshino and Drake (and Agir).
The quick reloading heal is nice and all but the lack of armor for late game pushes is a turn off for me.
I have almost 2 million free XP but I am thinking I could just use that to make another 21 point captain.

Thanks for showing your stats. We always see the good videos replayed, of course. But to see in those two ships you have about a 50% survival rate. I understand that's after a lot of damage but that you're not always going to survive.
Survival Rate means nothing, and I don’t only pick the good games, if you watched my channel you would know.
@@MalteseKnight I do watch your channel and I'm subscribed to it. Your channel has helped my gameplay. I like that you talk about what you're doing and why. Trying to break down the nuts and bolts of what you're doing not just showing a game not explaining the strategy of it. But be honest with yourself though. All youtubers cherry-pick their videos. You're a fantastic player, a super unicum. But your average damage is 97K, this video 153k, you have survived 42% percent off your battles. Do 50% of your videos show you getting under 97K in damage? Do you show yourself being deleted in 58% of your videos? Your right, surviving doesn't mean anything, it's what you do before you die. You may be all around leader and kill the very last ship by ramming, completing a double kraken, solo-warrior game. It's in what you do before you die. My point was even the very best don't have a 2,000+, carry the team and survive till the end game every time. Wasn't meant as an insult. But that a lot of people have unrealistic expectations of themselves watching a lot of these videos. I know I will continue to watch your videos and learn from them. Keep up the great videos and keep educating me on how to get better.

IMO the best Credit-farmer in game that you can still get
azuma also gets massa reload on heal and can heal 30% cit damage whereas yoshino gets neither

i am disabled in my left hand following a stroke. i lean towards playing slow moving ships for obvious reasons. wargaming dont offer a mitigation for my situation in using a joystick for example. do you reccomend me azuma? big fan .

Where is fen yang the accursed? Or Kronshtadt the "15-30mm citadel deck good armor" with dispersion worse than Malborough? Anyway, Azuma would do better if it had cruiser dispersion.
it has almost cruiser dispersion. Same vertical, slightly more horizontal. Still better than battlecruiser
