Pétion-Ville is part of the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince. It is one of the most affluent areas, where the majority of tourist activity takes place, and one of the richest parts of the country. Many diplomats, foreign businessmen, and a large number of wealthy citizens do business and live in Pétion-Ville.

That city looks like parts of the Bronx with all the hills. Very good videos you make. As an American, I would like to one day see African Americans and Haitians unite. There needs to be cultural exchange and each much learn about the other.
Great video! Not all Port-au-Prince is bad. I stayed at Karibe hotel in May and El Rancho in July during my last two visits in Petionville.
its every country that's a bad part.
There is alot of European supremacists and their black supporters in this comment section. My endless gratitude from your west African Liberian cousins. We love Haiti and Haitian so much 😭🥰❤️❤️❤️🇱🇷❤️🇭🇹❤️🇬🇭❤️🇳🇬❤️🇯🇲❤️🇯🇲❤️🇹🇹❤️🇰🇪❤️🇨🇲❤️🇨🇬
Thank you for sharing your comment ...We love you too my sister from Africa🙌💐❤
Most beautiful people in this world to me 😍😭🥰 love from the black republic of liberia West Africa ❤️❤️❤️🇱🇷❤️🇭🇹

Please do cousin. Africa is your/our ancestors/ancesteral home.. Wish you more success. 🇱🇷❤️🇭🇹❤️
Thanks 🙏 my brother
We’re all Africa thank you 💋
@@PhillyDom Hey Philly Dom; how about a nice trip to another fellow Black West Indian nation; Jamaica! From what you shared about your homeland is absolutely beautiful!!! It reminds me a lot of 🇯🇲! You can see for yourself and make the comparisons! One ❤️!
Big thumbs up "👍🏼" champ! I never seen this part of haiti....true definition of "Real Streets Of Haiti "
I would looove to live here!! Absolutely a beautiful vibe!!❤️🙏🏾💪🏾❤️
You should!
This looks like a Friday afternoon month-end scene in Petion-ville 😅😎 Thanks for the memories!!! 💯
Great footage, Philly Dom. You look like a real journalist on this video. I would nominate you for a Pulitzer Prize for this vlog.
We have so much in common! those streets will pass for many in Ghana or Nigeria, One Africa, in the diaspora and on the continent.
Oh wow I am born in Canada by Haitians parents
They need to. Clean Their streets
This is beautiful 👌🏿
The streets over there seem safer than the streets here in some Florida neighborhoods.
Plus I noticed that there are little to no obese people. Everyone seems to be in great health. Awesome vibe 👌🏿
Man so glad your doing this for the Haitians like me that are skeptical about visiting.
Se ven muy activas las personas camininando y casi todos muy jóvenes hermosa cultura.
Great to see some of my old haunts. Munchies used to have great pizza! Good job! I appreciate the video
Glad you enjoyed it
I appreciate you sharing these videos. This is a place that I’ve always wanted to visit I have friends from this part of Haiti. I heard that back when I was younger this area was beautiful!
Our pleasure!
It's still beautiful. Do not listening to fake news. We are welcome you
@@rithalouis2606 I'm sorry, where was the beauty in that video? All I could see was third world poverty.
@@CBatista1234 You know many people claimed even pretending living in the richest country in the world but might be sleeping or eating worsen than many I said many than these folks in the third world. Me I was choked SEEN that. I do travel a lot.
Most of them can only see and live in the shadows of it. Because they have no idea on how to approach and take advantage of the beauty around them. Their life condition doesn't allow them to take time to observe, learn how to appreciate the beauty, the effects that can products on their own lifes.
The reason, the pathways they have been following in their entire life will never will NEVER give them the chance to take them on that road because they have not been, maybe will never be able to do any good with their times so they have any idea on how to benefit successfully from their developed and capitalized country
They become Perrots with no common senses. Perrots got some to say , they are jaust followed
That's unfortunate.
I have never been to Haiti, but by watching your video,it look a lot like D.R . Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching
Dominican republic looks way better then Haiti,
Looks like la duarte in the DR. And they are fixing la duarte as we speak removing all those street vendors that occupied the sidewalks.
@@giniolamy you feel better about yourself after putting your own country down 🙁? DR don’t go through what we’re going through! Therefore! Don’t care what no body say about Haiti 🇭🇹! I STILL LOVE 💗my mess up country 🤷🏽♀️
You obviously have never been to the Dominican Republic. The largest economy in the Caribbean and Central America (In only half of this island).
Wow Haiti is beautiful
🤣🤣
Thank you King. B.S. media don’t show all the sides of beautiful 🇭🇹. Respect. I need this trip. Big Up 🇯🇲
Thanks for sharing these kind positive videos about Haiti. The Western TVs fed us about the negative things on Haiti only.... Great Job @Philly Dom
Thanks for sharing ☺️love the energy of the streets of Haiti...

Merci Pou vídeo a men ou manke Ale kotel pibel yo nan petyonvil
Haiti is as another metropolitan city hustling and bustling. Nice
I am Haitian I never thought our city is beautiful like that
Yes Indeed Champ
You call this beautiful
@@sheresecummings1118 yes, It is different from the western country. When people go to vacation they go to see new things. The government has to come up with a system to keep our streets clean just like another country.
Where???😅
@@ThecarmanofKentucky Am from Jamaica which is not a rich country and that wouldn't even be a middle class town/city here.
May our ancestors continue to guide and protect Haiti!
Haiti Sak Pasé ❤❤❤ Thanks for sharing this video
I love it.
Been watching a chanel called kimgary it's showing the streets of Philadelphia, Kensington avenue , the people in Haiti are looking way better than the lost souls in fentynol land . Big love Haiti.
True
Oh my goodness my dear father this the glory of God this is the wonderful part of Port Au Prince Haiti that we've never seen before 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❣️
Haiti 🇭🇹 to the World 🌎 Family
I'm loving these videos about Haiti be blessed
It's a shame that street vendors have to sit on the ground to sell their products. Haïtian government can do better by its people to create a better working environment for the street vendors.
I can't wait for this to change, this is why they hate being on camera, they are not too proud of their situation, they don't want their peeps who are overseas to sem them this way......Waiting for a new Haiti!
Lol the Haitian government is basically too corrupt and uncivilized to do anything. Haitians need foreigners to rule them.
@@Deadassbruhfrfr you're talking real sh*t body..
@@jodiamarketing4118 Why would you be worried about what people see? It's not going to change anything. We have people all over the world that live in the same conditions & aren't ashamed of being poor.

Haiti is such a beautiful country with bad corrupted government.

It's crazy how it looks like Africa
Keep it real my brother! Love your style!
Show them the banks, the schools, the government buildings, the white house. The are selling a trash image of Haiti. Those places are Market place, what you call Flea Market in Haiti. Show them the beaches, show them all the hotels, the nice restaurants.
I'm from Jamaica and I go Haiti on boat multiple times and I knows
Haiti is what it is, no doubt Haiti have some natural beautiful places including beaches.Haiti needs more than that. Haitians needs to first of all wake up and realise their potentials as a nation and as people. Govt alone can't provide jobs for everyone. Haitians must create their opportunities for themselves by tapping into their God giving potentials & talents, love & support one another. A nation divided against itself can't and won't stand.
@@onlyimports how do you to to haiti by boat? Do you have a link for the booking?

Nice video my brother thanks,in the day of judjement everything will clear take the people from their lands brought them here
You need to go in the neighborhood.
Where people can see the millions dollars houses.
Haitians need more than that. No more vanity. What's d point of building a house what millions when people are suffering and dying from hunger?
Thank you again my back will be killing me
Good video. Get a drone.
Beautiful Video Dom. This is very similar with DR and Colombia in centro areas w street vendors and merchants. Raw and Real Hustle!!
This is the furst time i am seeing a video in haiti and i am seeing places that looks develop and not like rubble

Having grown up in Petionville, this whole scenery fills me with a sense of despair and sadness. What will it be like twenty five, fifty years from now. This is depressing. It shows the obvious neglect and lack of government.
You are putting the country too low. That's not faire to this people who are trying to save the COUNTRY.
@@rithalouis2606 The country will get nowhere but down if we continue with lies and illusions, and if we continue to deny reality. And who are these people trying to "save the COUNTRY' anyway. I hope you don't mean the current politicians and the gangs of kidnappers who run the country now.
Checkout Kensington avenue Philadelphia, these folks are kool their day will come bless Haiti
@@vodouotantik3256 Where are you? What are you doing to help Petionville get back to its glory days?
@@509LM If your question was a serious one I would reply that you really have no idea of the immensity of the problem. It's not just a Petionville problem. It's a Haiti problem and I am not presumptuous enough to think that I or any one person alone can fix Haiti's problem.
Hey brother man. I’m a Haitian American from NY and currently live in Atlanta. Are there any videographers / photographers out there that you would happen to know? Would love to shoot a music video out there if possible

Most people who have not travel will say anything about Haiti. Don't let people fool you. The media in Haiti have been paid to destroyed Haiti. Good job for trying to educate the world about Haiti but you need to go to the residential area. Every country have poor people.

Beautiful beautiful Haiti has plenty of potential to become a successful island and be on the same level as the Dominican republic or better..
