Finally a mono black deck. Imo, keep this build for ONE, when it's released you can replace many cards and make it standard legal. The guy at 17:00 plays goyf deck which is a kinda midrange to make you discard to pump graveyard and use goyf to attack.

16:21 this card was actually the most played creature in magic during many years and the most expansive card outside of the first sets. Nowadays this does nothing because powercreep and insane removals
I wonder how people used to deal with goyf before wotc made cheap removals and graveyard hate? I found goyf extremely weak but i remember people saying it was a goid card back in the day.
@@dedfoker fatal push really powered down goyf. 1-2 mana good removal wasn't super common when goyf first came out and old school jund was a nightmare in modern. That's why goif and liliana were nearly $100 at their peaks.
@@Linky609 i watched a video about goyf. Fatal push is probably the best removal black has ever printed, amazing how that killed goyf meta. Funny how go for the throat wasn't mentioned since it's a good removal... Guess goyf just killed you before you use it?
@@dedfoker Black has had versatile 2 mana kill spells that hit Tarmogoyf since the beginning. For example, Terror was in Alpha. Go For the Throat is obviously a strict upgrade over Terror (and probably better than Doom Blade), but that mana cost is not an improvement.

My favorite is when I'm not even playing control but just a fun combo and people still rope.
The only thing I hate about these decks is that I refuse to spend a dime on arena. Even though I finish in mythic every season, I end up using the same decks over and over because I can't get enough of the cards required to build any of the decks in these vids :( I just don't get enough wild cards to feasibly do so
You might wanna try draft more. I have two sets 100%'d and at least all 1-ofs in most sets by drafting a decent bit during each set. Consistently raredrafting and prioritizing cards I'm missing goes a long way. 🤔

I'm actually genuinely curious what you think about Yu-Gi-Oh. A year of playing Master Duel made me appreciate Arena a fuckton. All the shitty things about Magic are accentuated in Yu-Gi-Oh imo, as that game is practically designed being a massive asshole, and no one ACTUALLY wants to play.
As a control player at heart, seeing people play Esper superfriends with little Tefari always saddens me a bit. Like, if you want to play jank that bad just go all in with something really crazy instead of just using such a beta brew. Anyway, for anyone interested, that archetype loses BADLY against food sacrifice with trail of crumbs, but with blue instead of red and permanents like frilled mystic and faerie vandal. Plus one blast zone for good measure. That way you can beat jank with jank, and even have fun in the process

There needs to be protection against decks like this maybe add crystalline sliver I to the game where spells wont do shit like cmon you offer cards like this where is the protection and honestly a deck like the one shown should have never had a problem or took as long as it did against silvers it an anti sliver per say... I hate modern magic it's so cheesy... wizards is trying to invent safe spaces for there players
Doesnt matter dude 90% of people just use board wipe decks in this rigged game. Been playing magic 20 years I've never seen anything like arena..oh you didnt buy pack today ? Well guess what you'll be matched against a board wipe deck with your creature deck... oh didnt buy packs today ? you'll get a shitty hand and to much land or not enough and you'll never go first. algorithm is screwed just like they are doing in the new mw2 with there patent. Buy something from the mw2 store you'll have awesome games no ghost bullets etc.
