    Come join Echo, Pablo, Pumba, Ian and I as we go about building our jumping skills, balance, rhythm and strength with gymnastic jumping exercises over a series of training sessions.
    Watch as we tackle a few variations of 'the jumping jack' and 'one strider' gymnastic grid under all sorts of weather conditions from the very bleak, rainy, cold and sunny days of June 2024 !
    By including gymnastic jumping into Echo's, Pablo's and Pumba's training routine, I can work on their jumping performance, physical conditioning, and mental readiness for competitive events, and my skills and technique too.
    The aim is to boost confidence and focus. By repeatedly practicing the gymnastic jumping their confidence in jumping ability.
    It also encourages them to pay attention and focus on the task at hand, and locking onto the fence.
    I like using gymnastics as it helps me improve my position, balance, and timing, as I need to be balanced and not interfere to successfully pilot them through the exercises.
    Most importantly it builds trust in each other, and enhances the communication and partnership between me and my horses, as we work together to complete the exercises smoothly.
