It seems like they have more fun with how bad Redfall was instead of how boring Suicide Squad is.
The dialogue in this game is so exhausting.
It's like, Rick Flag being gay is not an issue at all on its own. If it was just that, I'd be like "uh, neat."
But in the context of this game, alongside everything else that the game does terribly, it feels like some SJW writer from Sweet Baby Inc wrote that throw-away line about the yappy dog not because it was good, fun or snarky in any way, but because they wanted you to know that this version of this big strong man was gay. Like, I've seen Rick Flag in James Gunn's movie, in the JLU series, in other various appearances, I don't remember him feeling any need to clarify his sexuality to anyone.
It feels off.
Most of the creative talent left gaming years ago. Blizz is a good example of what happens when they ignore the fans.

The writers did know how the Green lantern ring works, in the Hall of Justice you can find a hologram of Green lantern saying that the ring indeed chooses its wearer so i think that means they are setting up that those weren't the real JL members but clones

We haven’t lost the War, the war is unfortunately infinite between the consumer vs corporate, and when you are no longer a CZcamsr, we will keep up the fight against predatory practices for the sake of our children like you guided us when we were kids. I’m 26 years old and I refuse to let shit like this win, we need more games like BG3, Sea of Stars, My Friend Pedro, and Phantom Liberty, and now that Hogwarts got over a billion dollars, I’m thinking there are gaming companies from within that want to help our cause. Why does every live service looter shooter fail horribly? Redfall is still awful after being "fixed", and now we have Suicide Squad and Skull and Bones.
You do realize that Helldivers 2 is currently the biggest thing going, right? A live service shooter with microtransactions. A live service with microtranactions that even these 3 are loving and raving about. The war ended years ago when Fortnite made billions off $500 skins. When Candy Crush made billions from people sitting on their toilets. When Angry Joe spent more money on EA and Ubisoft monthly subscription services than he did on BG3. This is my problem with modern blockbusters too. Back in the day the issue would be padding. Long stretches of movie that were clearly filler to stretch the runtime. Nowadays, its way more common for the moviee to be overstuffed. Over two hours of viewing time, 20 minute fight sequences, constant deus ex mchainas, hyper-quick cuts, a plot which borrows from threee different graphic novels, 14 major characters, and no downtime to process things or take a beat. I just find some of these so exhausting and unfun.

Granblue Fantasy was out and doing a bit better than SSKTJL on Steam. It was tracking at around 100k. Played both myself. Still playing Granblue 50 hours in and deleted SSKTJL after the credits rolled 😆

something iv learnt whilst watching Joe play this game is that he likes just standing around doing nothing and usually letting himself get killed/wasting lives while Alex and OJ do all the work, now to be fair sometimes he has a good reason to "tab out" such as needing to fix something with the stream or read chat but most of the time that isn't the case and he just stops playing to do something random that doesn't need to be done, at least put yourself somewhere safe so you don't die and tell the Alex and OJ to not start the next mission while you're "afk". its not a big deal as a watcher but if i was Alex or OJ i would find it super annoying every time he randomly stopped playing for no good reason, but again this is just something iv notice well watching the vods of this game and isn't something Joe needs to try and change about his play style but it would make him a better teammate and streamer if he did stop randomly stopping all the time.

Actually on further thought… all of these lines are juvenile. I mean I expected some humor, some dumb jokes etc, but it’s like a bunch of middle school kids wrote this material.
The game’s a 5/10. Smooth movement. Graphics I’d say it’s very detailed for an online game and the facial expressions are superb. Sadly it can be really a good game, but it can’t shine because they don’t know how to make use of the movement and gunplay. They need to add funner guns like something out of Sunset Overdrive or Borderlands along with better mission designs and bosses.
Seeing Joe call the traversal awful is hilarious when he's so bad at the traversal as Boomerang he doesn't slide or throw the Boomerang while in midair on the ground to allow him to speedrun he genuinely sucks at this game and that's not to say I don't agree with everything else he has said but I do not agree with him saying gunplay and traversal are bad because those are OBJECTIVELY the games strong points ESPECIALLY traversal!

Unpopular opinion but I’ve been rocking with this game. Just wish they did Batman justice as I am a huge Arkham series fan. Missions were repetitive at times but the game play was fun for a looter shooter. Very flawed but fun game, 6/10

Sure, but that doesn't excuse non-existent enemy or mission variety, a completely lifeless open world, no weapons variety, characters who don't shut up, a mid story at best one without an actual conclusion, generic boss fights and shitty treatment of their iconic characters. I get that some people legitimately like the game, but I don't get why those people have to go around accusing people who don't like it of being haters.
