We also take the Mercedes Arocs Tipper Lorry for a drive with Daniel to mainly test the PPC technology so watch this video or share with anyone who is about to buy a tipper/dump truck or looking at tippers for sale at the moment.

Would be amazing to tell us your story
When, where and how you started
Thanks
100% agree.
Watch his Truck N’ Hustle interview! He basically talks about how he got started in construction and the rest of his businesses.
I have came here from yannie I cant believe im enjoying truck reviews 😂 good content bro
I'm from a creative industry. Bought here by doggy youtube algorithms. Though this guy knows how to tell a good captivating story. Now I want to know more about this industry.
1:19 - That's the image for the "Don't get lazy!" T-shirt, right there 👍
You should do a fleet review or a tour of your yard
Glad I found your channel. It's very informative and the amount of logistics involved is nuts.
I really like how you buy the best quality trucks with all thr optional extras because you know they useful happy for you and your staff
You tha man Dan, great review. You need your own show 👍🏾👏🏾
This guy is very knowledgeable on everything concerning his businesses, material, equipment, local, state and federal laws in the UK. He has a great working relationship with his employees and he knows how to have fun.
Awesome video, thank you Daniel & your team
Perfect review ..
This was completely helpful,
Waiting for an other one soon,
Keep it up 🇩🇿👌
Not in construction but enjoying this channel! Great insights into a totally different world
We’ve had 2 Arocs. Both 64 plates and we sold them both last year due to the amount of problems we had with them. We ran them in and out of local quarries and it just shook them to bits. Would certainly not recommend them. Volvo and Scania would be the better option for fleet efficiency
I’ve been loading one of these trucks on a job in Sweden and noticed it had no mirrors and big monitors in the cab. Thought I’d have a look into it and it lead me to your review. Excellent stuff! It’s like Top Gear for construction trucks and machinery.
I keep wanting more of this content ... thumbs up
Love the trucks tutorials. Thank you for amazing wonderful content
Keep pushing bro! Your work is my dream in life
Sick video!👍🏽
Trucking Hell you're a good reviewer 😁
I drive an Arocs auto tipper and always use the cruise control and 3 stage retarder brake it just does the work for you. It stops the over speed good for when you’re loaded saves the breaks too! Watching this as test driving the mirrorless this week. Hope Mercedes have improved the cup holder!
dude u are a real pro big up much success in ur ventures dude
Nice review brother!! MERC IS MERC
Yo bruv I really enjoy your videos! I have absolutely no interest in construction but this shit is entertaining af. I'm going to watch all of your videos, like, and leave this comment on all of them. Keep going bro!
Daniel can you start a top gear for trucks?! Really informative videos keep them coming!!
You are from London nice love the Review
The shield around the engine is possible in different versions, most construction trucks really has it.
As for rear springs, the Arocs previously had a 3 leaf springs package with the same load capacity as this one (it was changed in august/2017). This is perfectly fine for such truck, they can easily cope with 20% more load than legal weight. If You want larger springs/bogie on such truck, it require the hub reduction differentials and a overdrive gearbox. Believe me You want subframe or hub reduction axles way before stronger springs
Makes me wanna buy a truck👍
All truck reviews 🤜🏻🤛🏻
rewatching 👍🏾😄
I'd never have thought I would be watching a review of a truck 🚚 🤦♂️
Quality channel and videos Daniel, came from Carwow link. Subscribed.
Nice truck!
I like it very much.
Hi mate
Iv just subscribed to your channel. So in catching up on all your videos love your boys toys
I never thought I'd be this excited about things concerning the construction industry.. BUT I AM. But I still don't understand how the construction industry works. Can you guys please put out content relating to this? While it's not something that I could personally get involved in, sounds like something that I'd like to invest in.
Pretty cool, though would look better in black!
Excellent video sir even though I will never buy a lorry
That was awesome I would like to get a truck like that😄
You should try out MAN they make very good trucks
Driving a one of mirrorless Merc in last few months. Brilliant staff, when its raining...Absolute useless in tiny roads, when you need to pass parked cars... good on motorways, on bright day you never know when lorry behind you flash lights to let you back to lane...Nice display, good tom tom sat nav...
I like mirrorcam
It looks like that reversing marker line was pretty much perfectly set before you moved it, with that extra foot or so of breathing rooom
Of all the dumptrucks I have (3 are 2020 models) the highest level of tech i can get is cruise control and a backup camera. I really wish the US market would get with it!
Can you do a review of the grab lorry cranes you have in your fleet? Thanks!
Nice truck
Hi Daniel just subscribed to your channel fantastic viewing Very informative Love your positivity and drive it would be great to see if you don’t already take a school lever on as some sort of Training scheme you would make a fantastic tutor and what a careerHe or she would have many thanks for making this video Peter
I have no interest in trucks but I watch this lads videos
Always loved big aggregate machinery and good have a new video when there's nothing to do
Need to test these trucks fully loaded.
Great vid, love watching your channel - even though I'm still playing catch up (Sorry) but I've got to pick up on one thing. You made a point about the red seatbelt, awesome showing us you wearing it, but, red is an optional extra?? To me it should be standard to show and prove to others you and other drivers have their seatbelt on. Obviously this isn't your fault but you saying about it made me think. Especially if it's for safety.
Hi, will you review a Hino anytime soon?... good review with the Mercedes.
can you do a review on one of the volvo
Nice looking truck, but having driven the Actros for few years, have felt it's so uncomfortable on longer drives, compared to my 19 plate MAN, which for me now is so damn comfortable. But I do like the look of the new MB trucks, best looking trucks on the road.
Best review I've ever seen of a truck , I found it very informative.👍
I passed my HGV in 2017, passed first time, i have never even thought of using the licence, but i would love to drive this truck.
you took a hgv test for no reason?
@@masoncooper6649 I know, insane, lots of study, passed first time, never been in a truck since. Mental.
U @GOOD TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT
Review a unimog u5023
Thanks for sharing.
Would have to say a landfill is the perfect place for any merc. That's if you can get it there without it breaking down. Ask any mechanic what they think of them always get the same answer sh.. e. Good review though like the channel well worth a subscribe mate.
Top gear has changed
Lorry drivers don’t realise how comfy you’ve got it, try driving a 20 year old bus for 5 and a half hours in 36° heat.
James c get yourself a hgv license
Most annoying thing about being a bus driver is the idiot human cargo you have to haul. At least in trucking, the cargo does not talk back.
Jeez this guy has a sharp line up😂
Very much like Hanson on
Xe chất thế
How about a review of the Scania S770
Can you do a review of the Tatra trucks?
They‘re shit just stick with the worlds best manufacturers like Mercedes, Scania, MAN, Volvo and DAF
Brilliant it drive itself on roundabout 🤣👏👍
Very good review but the fact that it won't start with the broken mirror is a big problem.
They will get broken with low branch's.
I had a 2001 modes and the breaks were a problem with muck on the sensors.
Interesting they have changed the suspension setup! IMO On the older gen Arocs Mercedes should give it's customers free weekly sessions at a chiropractor because you're spine will never be the same again, good lorry all the same though.
Suspension is only fitted on the rear axles,
That’s why trucks handle so bad, wish car drivers knew this fact.
Only the FH16 750 by Volvo offers front independent suspension & electronic instant steering.
IMO if one of the cameras gets knocked off it should go in to a limp mode so it can still be moved if its in the way of something
Have they change the MOT so they can use the camera system as wind mirrors??
So Agree With you If a Mirror Damage you should not be Driving period
ppc dont work in fog or if senser is coverd in muck or road grime
This daniel guy is a hot hot man...and he works in construction
Dream man 🔥
THEY USE THIS TRUCK WITH A GRAB AT MY SUPPLIER ROOF BASE BRILLIANT TRUCK
Can you review a Volvo fmx?
was the railway there when you started or did you get it put in?
got it put in,it was not there before
are you bouncing arround all over the place or are you still and the truck is bouncing? I heard about the bose seat system. Would have been nice to have a camera mounted on the seat so we can see drivers POV from there and how the seat stays in relation to the road.
stand up guy
Great video but I thought your fleet was all Scania
My boss traded in 6 Mercedes 8 wheeled grab wagons In for 6 brand new scanias in January. Not one of the mercs gave any trouble at all in the 5 years he had them . Only reason he got the scanias was the deal he was given. I rate scanias, they're good tippers bur the Mercedes are underrated. Allow those camera wing mirrors though. Crap idea.
Would you try a scania
The merc gear box isn't actually an auto, it's a manual box whit a mecanical gear selection, and if you have merc and mb24 brake down has to be whit you and get your vehicle up and running with in the hour
Do you even test drive the new trucks you buy. Also why not truck and dogs there for more product can be delivered at the same time? Look at us here in Australia large truck and dogs.
I’m guessing their city streets are not large enough for truck and dog?
Didn't know it wouldn't start if mirror is missing. Great tech, on road. What if you've parked in a yard, another driver has knocked it off, and you need to move off a bay, pulling forward (with a banksman) and parking up would be ideal, but I guess you cannot do that!
Yes, you can’t move the truck at all. Mercedes say it’s for our own safety
@@thisisashville yeah I get the safety aspect, and as you said, I wouldn't wanna drive without a mirror. But surely there are times, like in a yard, with a bankmans, that it can be moved safely without a mirror!
Anyway, great videos! Keep em up!
Give your Mercedes parts department and ask for a camera for the Arcos
How far off is the comfort and interior compared to your Land Rover?
Good review.
Drove one of these for four months
& have driven an 2006 Scania tipper off-road, the Scania was better in terms of off-road performance in comfort.
This Merc had constant faults, telling my bulbs where broken when lights were off & the fault would go once on for example
I had to manually do intermittent wipers in light rain or fog as the automatic wipers would not detect it.
I enjoyed driving it, but those ‘mirrors’ are simply wrong & I drive in Devon, with the most hedges in the road of any county.
Exactly how I drive,
it’s a aquaRetarder that uses coolant from engine put through the transmission & slowed in a torque converter.
Good modern truck, great seating position close to the windscreen & felt safe in it.
Seeing as when loaded they weigh 32 tonnes, car drivers don’t play with heavy trucks.....wrote a car off in a merge in turn, no damage to the truck & insurance company was in my favour resulting in the car driver having a very very rough day & I didn’t even even use dash cam footage!
Why they don’t sale them in the state’s
Daniel, why did you go away from Scania?
Do a video of off road and in mud
And again Mercedes back doing what they do best ripping people off

Sorry I want my mirrors back
I’m just wondering would you have to take the lorry to Mercedes to change the tyre
the mirror cams look like they could be hit easily
Smaller then traditional mirrors so if anything less likely to be hit. It’s the future and new cars already having them
does this truck know the weather conditions also too many expensive gismos
Mercedes=Benz love them ,but Foden Trucks way better.
Or a Leyland mate, you cant beat them 🔛🔝
Shacman way better
Buy yourself a merc Unimog
👍🏿🇰🇳
