    Sir,you said,we can predict structure of dna. That means,primer is designed from the protein sequence that is available using bio informatics tools?

    i have a doubt.... from the protein sequence u can generate degenerate primers .but what will be the template dna for this pcr because u have only the protein?

    • @Leleuta
      @Leleuta Před 6 lety

      may be.. degenerate PCR is used when you exactly don't know about template dna's sequence but know amino acid sequence. so you test the primer first, and then you cloning the polymer for sequencing. After sequencing, you can compare your work to original sequences which are not perfect. In conclusion, you can know your dna sequences by degenerate PCR, and you can also use this degenerate primer at RT-PCR, qPCR, etc.
