"Amok" from Sentenced, "Tales..." from Amorphis, "Clouds" from Tiamat... In these days, there was magic in the air. And all these bands were still kids then, mostly teenagers! There must have been something in the water.

@@rainbowin865 One of my favorite albums. So underrated. You can hear him pour his heart and tormented soul into that album. Godless Beauty, Amok, Tales from a thousand lakes,.and Sweet X Rated nothings by Pyogenesis are my all time favorites
Mika was one of the greatest guitarists i've ever heard. R.i.p
His lyrical style especially on this record is clearly unmatched.

A complex song, where you can also find acoustic guitar parts, guitar solo and detailed melodic riffs. A well structured song structure, complex but not complicated. Few bands can do that. That's it.
These songs will always have place in my heart for carrying me through the darkest moments of my life.

Remember premiere of this video on Headbanger's Ball in 1995, or maybe little bit earlier...I always had empty video tape ready for clips to be recorded...So and this was during the premiere...Still love it!

Miika Tenkula. Guitarist and song writer of Sentenced. He made 99% of Sentenceds music and died of alcohol overdose couple of months ago. R.I.P.
there was a time long ago when this was probably my favorite song ever. it's still amazing to this day.
Good times with sentenced left me back in 2009 came back in 2013 then finally back again! Long Live Sentenced!

Drink to forget... That´s what got me in to the greatest metal band ever. They grew with each album but the ca!!!! Remember a night in 1995 in Dortmund when a real skinny guy ordered some beers at a venue in Dortmund next to me after their gig at the Out of the Dark Festival! It was Miika! So sad what life made out of him. Fortunately Ville is still on track! Support Poisonblack and meet them at the halfway bar...

Back in the days, I didn't expect this to make me feel nostalgic. I didn't expect early departure of Miika (R.I.P). I didn't expect that the funeral album would be the band's last album. Life is full of unexpected events and time flows anyway.

Consecutives good days. In front of the mirror i practise every new stage image. Now i'm the great of this in a passage in a john. Seriously excellent smell of the different something not from here. Ok. Incredible vocalist, great musicans, good guitar sound and solo parts. Words. Masters of melody. Really like it. Real metal masters of the non metal songs. Fine country woman for the to intoxicate.
