Keyser Söze. Back on topic, Garling appears to be Shanks' lineage, we'll see.
Big facts 💯
mmmmmmmmmm
On the subject of the guns…
I can only assume they keep guns on them because Imu probably don’t want them to show off their “Devil Fruit” powers to anyone. And only reason that they whipped them out was because sabo came out attacking them with his devil fruit and they knew a gun wouldn’t work.
You wouldn’t kill an insect with your bare hands because you’d get dirty. A gun is like them carrying bug spray basically.
@@felixowen2693perfect analogy
thats the point though, anyone that makes it to them of note, that is threatening, guns are useless.
Remember what once Mihawk said?
"A lion never uses all of its strength to kill a rabbit"
You don't use a sledgehammer for a nail and you don't use a chainsaw to snap a twig.
Who said you can’t use haki wit guns
I thought all the celestial dragons had a gun, they made it pretty clear that those pistols are a symbol of the Celestial dragons. That’s the only reason Doffy uses that gun. I think Oda was just continuing the theme of Celestial Dragons using their guns.
Literally
Kaido used a gun on Oden. The guns are a lethal option for weak enemies even white beard when weakened was damaged by guns. They carry the guns as an option. Because we are assuming that they only stay in that room at all times. If they go out and about in marygeoise they probably be shooting slaves too.
Wasnt it that kaido used a gun on the person who used theirs on oden? not that Kaido shot oden himself
they're talking about strawhats using guns , I am pretty sure that there's a one piece movie in which straw hats enters a hall and just pulls out guns and smoke the pirates there🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@ryancomer6290 Kaido shot Oden in his forehead
@maharghjoshi228 lol true but they were talking about the gorosei using guns on Kobra. And that's what I think the reason is. Why use powers when the person can be easily dispatched with a gun.
Y’all gotta realize they were tryna frame somebody for Cobra’s death. If the Gorosei used their powers to kill Cobra it’d make lying harder.
Galaxy brain take
I like this reason
Makes a ton of sense
It's not something that comes up a lot, but haki can be infused into bullets. Hell, Oden died to a gunshot.
They had to, if they didn't frame someone it would have created a backlash that would have caused more kingdoms to side with the Revolutionary Army. The truth will eventually come out though and once it does the backlash will be that much bigger.
Brago: Gorosei don’t need guns
Ben beckman: hold my bullets
Was looking for this. Never underestimate a good gunman in One Piece. His gun was enough to put fear into Kizaru.
A weak person with a gun doesn’t do anything to anyone. But put a gun in bens hands and he’s a monster. Haki bullets, or sea prisom bullets? Kills a logia user easily.
@@thegreatmaximilian
What fear? Kizaru still immediately goes after Luffy and Ben just kinda disappears off screen 😂
@@JCdoesgeekystuffexactly what i thought. someone might come in thinking "look at these defenseless old men" and get shot with Sea Prism and Black Bullets/Haki-infused. as much knowledge as the Gorosei have, I doubt they'd have them w/o reason

I think they always have guns on them for “disciplinary”purposes. When dealing with celestials and the nobles it’s a threat they can wield without revealing their abilities.
Fun Fact: Pirates sometimes had like 3-4 guns in real life because it took so long to reload a black powder pistol
I just wanna see more Figarland Family!
I need to know if that person in chapter 907 was shanks twin or not
@@codeonexz3813 probably not but you never know with one piece
Probably that SHANKS knew the power of his family name. That's why there's no marines after him. Also that would probably be the reason why the gorosei weren't stressed when he arrived to see them (they were stressed when they saw Laffite). Also I'm sure that SHANKS know who Garling Figarland is (Probably his father from 40yrs ago)
We likely will once we get a God Valley flashback.
@@Ptolemy336VV Garling Figarland gives me Tywin Lannister Vibes for some reason
I love when y’all come together and talk about one piece, it feels so genuinely
I think the guns, just like the camera snail, were there entirely for the potential to create an explanation for Cobra's death. They did not commit to his death until Imu showed up.
12:00. Actually, we do have previously shown DF's that can bestow power onto subordinates. The woman in the Revolutionary Army that can motivate people to fight, giving them all a buff.
Luffy does in a way as well, he basically has an entire army/countries that follow him because of his fruit
Gorosei have guns because why show your hand and abilities unless completely necessary. Explains why they transformed after Sabo’s attack. We thinking about it too much lmao! The sword being brought out is because swordsmen usually have an affinity with swords. But affinity with specific guns have never really been depicted in the show.
Exactly, it's a common thing for them to carry a gun as the government officials. They wouldn't want to just use their abilities or transform into some weird creature in front of anybody. Especially when dealing with monarchs that attend the reverie. 😂
The one and only man to have been able to put a scar on the chest of the strongest man ever..... What a way to hype up Shanks father 🔥
Is that confirmed or head cannon?
@@sitowat pure headcannon
@Lebron is the Goat it has some bearing in that when Whitebeard met Shanks he claimed seeing his face made him think of the man who scarred him. There's no specific "yeah your dad" but relation seems implied
Akainu took half his face and made him a donut 😂
Dudes making up feats now😅
The Gorosei having Fruits is probably a well kept secret so they would need normal weapons to protect themselves in situations where they can get away with not revealing their powers. Guns actually tend to be kinda effective in One Piece (theoretically at least obviously they almost never result in death but that's due to plot armor), a character as strong as Law can get hurt by guns and Sanji felt gunshots even after getting his exoskeleton. It's a bit silly given all the supernatural shit going on but I think Oda just genuinely finds guns cool and wants to maintain that bit of pirate imagery even in the end game.
Yeah but they in THE HOLY LAND... and they don’t meet anyone except yonko

Gandhi gorosei will be zoro final match up
Shanks will be the one to fight that guy
Holy knight commander for sure not on par with Mihawk
Nah you fans are reaching. Shanks seems to be the most likely to clash that guy. Stop thinking zoro is gonna take on every damn strong character in the series. Oda already said the fights were gonna be random

Zunisha’s mistake was obeying Lili and carrying & hiding the Red Poneglyph.
Digging the Thumbnail. Especially the idea of one being a hippo. My first impression was a boar, which made me think of the twelve labors of heracles, three in particular, which are about a bull, a bird, and a boar. Cant really place the others but thats what i got.
Did Lily or someone close to her have Kuma's Paw Paw fruit that caused the scattering of the poneglyphs? We see Kuma always carrying a bible with a female figure on the front, is that supposed to be Lily?

@@Altrav4they were probably all made in the same place. Because the Kizuki made them, so probably all in wano
Honestly, I'm thinking this new moon character is going to be a shanks rival. I think once he declared to go for the one piece he denounced whatever alliance with the world gov he had. And he only used them to weaken black beard. Luffy is his backup in case he can't win
1st: how about lilly was the void centuries joyboy
She made sunesha spread the poneglyphs around the world, which is the crime.
2nd: how about it wasn't shanks who met the gorosei but his brother within the guard.
Where the wild things are is actually a perfect fit and let me briefly explain what the book and its creatures are about.
"Where the Wild Things Are" is a popular children's picture book. The story follows a young boy named Max, who is mischievous and often gets into trouble. One evening, after being sent to his room as punishment for his unruly behavior, Max's room transforms into a forest filled with wild creatures.
Max embarks on a journey through this imaginary world, where he encounters the wild things, strange and ferocious-looking creatures. Initially, they threaten him, but Max tames them by staring into their yellow eyes without blinking and is crowned as their king(verry luffy like or maybe how Imu became their leader). Max revels in his newfound power (gear 5 or maybe a new level of haki or something) and leads the wild things in a wild rumpus, a joyful and chaotic celebration. (Add meat to this and we have luffy)
Eventually, Max begins to feel lonely and longs to return home, where he knows he is loved. He bids farewell to the wild things and returns to his room, where he finds his supper waiting for him, still hot. The story ends with Max realizing the comfort of being in a place where he is understood and cared for, even after his wild adventure.
In "Where the Wild Things Are," the creatures encountered by Max are referred to as "wild things." Although the book does not explicitly mention their individual names, they do possess distinct personalities. Here's a general description of their characteristics as depicted in the story:
1. Carol (which looks like transformed st saturn): Carol is one of the main wild things and plays a significant role in the book. He is initially aggressive and threatens Max when they first meet. However, he becomes one of Max's closest companions and helps him build a fort (maybe this will happen on Egghead?). Carol is known for his temper and strong emotions, often expressing his feelings intensely.
2. Judith: Judith is another prominent wild thing. She is characterized as being fierce and lively. Judith challenges Max and engages in playful wrestling matches with him. She adds an element of excitement and unpredictability to the group.
3. Alexander: Alexander is a smaller wild thing who often feels overlooked or neglected. He has a sensitive and somewhat insecure nature. Despite his size, Alexander wants to be noticed and valued by the others. He seeks attention and recognition from the group.
4. Douglas: Douglas is a gentle and kind-hearted wild thing. He is more thoughtful and considerate compared to some of the others. Douglas often acts as a voice of reason and tries to maintain peace among the group. He values friendship and harmony.
5. Ira and Moishe: Ira and Moishe are two wild things who are often mentioned together in the book. They are described as having large teeth and being mischievous. They participate in the wild rumpus and join the group in their boisterous activities.
These are some of the prominent wild things in the story.
It is almost stupid how well this could fit with one piece as it is now.
Wow
I think they always carry the guns. Just like Doffy. It's a Celestial dragon thing
The gorosei mentioned that imu was the creator. An imu is constantly in black silhouette. And their attacks also pitch black.
I just put off a random theory, if Luffy is rubber and erasers are rubber. Imu is ink/pencil, the ability to create anything. The gorosei transformation could have been a creation from Imu
i could totally see it. At this point any theory is possible
Luffy defeats Imu by erasing the manga panels that imu is in
I like it 👌
Hito Hito No Mi Model: Oda
My theory was that imu is a an umibozu. Which are these giant creatures from Japanese folk lore with inky skin and white eyes. Imu’s silhouette resembles it quite a bit and imu backwards is umi (which means sea) and is apart of umi-bozu. They also are said to have a death glare which reminds me a bit of conquerors haki and this might not be intentional but it’s said if you come across one you have to give it a barrel of something and luffy’s first appearance was in a barrel (but yeah I don’t think that’s actually suppose to be a relation at all).
We actually sea giant creatures at the end of thriller bark which people theorise to be umibozu.
Maybe imu hast the one pencil (as DF) from Odas oneshot
Man just gets right to it now no introductions no more zesty ass intro that shot was my jam brago😫😫😫😫
Thumbnail crazy Brago 😂
I think the gun thing is just a way of showing they are getting ready to kill. Their fists going haki wouldn't have the same effect.
Zunishia walking before the void century might be a red herring, as Zunishia was JoyBoy's companion. So why would Zunishia be only walking and still accompany JoyBoy....
Zunishia only did mistake 800 years ago. So it matches the timeline.
However, what doesn't make sense is... If Imu wanted to confirm anything about Lili and that Lili was Zunishia, then why did he not directly asked him.
And I think Zunishia's voice actor was a male in the anime.
So it won't make sense for Zunishia to be Lili and take orders from Momo.
Although, Zunishia's punishment might be connected with Lili.
All we have is joyboy companion. It could literally be any one that was connected to joyboy. Nonsensical rabbit hole
Saint Imu was a man and now Imu seems like a woman.
Lily went “missing”
We know Imu probably used the immortality technique along with switching his personality
Imu is a dead lily with a man’s personality or Imu switched bodies with Lily and locked her up
you guys have a great dynamic, you should do more videos together
This theory is the best one i have ever heard. Everything seem connected. Mother sea being fearful of devil fruits, damnming them not to swim. I love everything about this.
I think they are forgetting that Benn Beckman mains a gun so I'm sure top tiers can do something with them. I mean Vergo went to work with a stick. Jus saying
Thing is with observation haki you can dodge bullets. Even timeskip Luffy easily dodged kuma lasers. A gun itself can't be a top tier weapon
@@mgeezylaslo7054 obviously higher tier characters can make the guns match their speed. You're forgetting Izo tagged Kaido and CP0 agents with his guns and that's all he used. Swords aren't the only weapons that scale to the characters. Guns obviously do too. Izo's bullets are much faster than Pacifista lasers as he could tag the agents who were relative to Drake and Apoo in speed. These are characters they shit stomp Pacifistas getting shot by guns in the latest complete arc.
1. Oda deserves the rest of the year off. These recent chapters are so top tier that I completely forgot about MHA, Chainsaw Man, and Berserk.
2. Is it possible that IMU or even Black Beard's devil fruit are water based? Oda could take from Bruce Lee and have IMU be like water and take any shape.
Probably because mha is ass
Do you think you can explain that second point more, if you have the time? That seems interesting
@@nicholasalexander9866 I'm going to keep it short with Black Beard and say my reason why I believe his devil fruit could possibly be water based due to a theory inspired by 333VIL. He believes and provides solid evidence that the Yami Yami No Mi is the Kraken devil fruit and I theorize that if this turns out to be true then Black Beard powers aren't just darkness based that would provide the user with three hearts which would explain how he can gain another devil fruit but it also could potentially be a water based fruit.
As for IMU, if Oda expanded on Luffy's devil fruit with gear five and have it to be used as a creative weapon kinda like how Elastic Man in DC does then a formable foe would have to have a devil fruit that can match that if not better and I believe it's water. There's a quote from Bruce Lee where he says to be like water cause water can adapt and shape into anything. The majority of the planet and all living things on it needs water and air to survive so why wouldn't Oda give one of the two final villains one of the most OP abilities out there.
Let's not forget that Enel will be returning at some point and I believe the final battle will end between Luffy, Enel, and the villain who will have the water based devil fruit because all three abilities beat or cancel each other out. If not Black Beard then IMU definitely has the Aqua Aqua No Mi model Ocean.
These last few chapters have been very overrated. You’re tripping.
I see the gun as something symbolic to celestial dragons. Doflamingo kept his gun and used it despite having powers/abilities. Mjosgard, Charloss, Shalria, Roswald, the guy who shot Sabo all had guns...
I think IMU has the upgraded version of the yami yami no mi. Possible name the Mu Mu no mi, void void fruit. One thing for sure it’s awakened to the extreme. Imu really became the void
Does mu really mean void??? Insane
I wonder if a Devil Fruit can over take someone’s spirit. Like how Luffys fruit has a soul I wonder if IMUs took over the host and just won’t let them die
I was thinking the same shit with zunesha.
Rocks must be on different lvl if he attacked God Valley with the Figarland Fam ruling
Prime Garp and Roger had to work together to defeat him…
@@amitkenan3878 that's exactly my point
Damn that Saturn fan art with the t rex was sick
Great back and forth as always! On Lily is Zunesha, I don’t know if I buy it. The Minks have been in Zou 1000 years, 200 years before the void century. Unless Zou was moved, then it was already on Zunesha’s back 1000 years ago
The look in the gorosei eyes proved to me they are not totally evil bastards. They fear Imu so they follow orders blindly. Imu haki has to be broken af
Someone said it perfectly I think. The gorosei are true to form government lackeys. Teir leaders make terrible decisions and they are the ones forced to justify the actions
Yonkous became a thing because they helped as deterrent against pirates in the new world. And all Yonkous were not in good terms with each other.
Hence, easy for World Government to keep pirates in check in the New World. They just needed to keep the balance.
Hence, no similar God Valley incident since then.
@Syvnful Getting Brago to collab this frequently is crazy to see. Keep doing what you're doing!! I enjoy the solo stuff too, but these collabs are awesome.
The 5 using guns is like Luffy using a sword in Wano, lol! Real speculation, I agree they didn't want to show their devil fruit powers and Sabo forced their hands. Love the content! You and Syv killin it as a tandem! 💯 ✌️
I'm gonna need someone to photoshop a straw hat and little face scar on Willem Dafoe as Norman Osborne with the caption, "I'm something of a shapeshifter myself." 💀
Calling it. Those zoan looking shadows were actually their weapons transforming (like that elephant sword)
I have a concern though. Garling Figarland being "old" might mean he is "way past his prime" already.
Not in the world of one piece of Japanese culture for that matter, in the Japan the older you are the stronger you are

Weirdly, after 1086 I am more confident than ever that Mihawk is not a fraud. There was a part of me that was cared that Oda might reallly make Shank's stronger than Mihawk but after seeing Gandi and the Holy Knight head, I am completely confident that Oda will not disrespect Zoro's goal so much that he makes the person with the World's strongest swordsman title the fourth strongest swordsman alive in one era.
Oda could make a whole chapter about the foxy pirates and Mihawk fans will still make it a Mihawk/Zoro chapter
@@spudlover96Bro I swear to God, next to Aizen wankers from Bleach to Sasuke wankers from Naruto l, Mihawk stans take the 1st place for me now as being the most delusional bots.
I mean no disrespect when I say this, but it took you this long to know Mihawk is that dude? Like I understand Oda isn’t putting much effort in the other Strawhats goals, but Luffy and Zoro’s goal get reminded every arc or at least hinted towards it. They are the bread and butter of One Piece, it’s just weird how people really thinks Mihawk with the title of Worlds Strongest Swordsman was a fraud? Like again I understand Whitebeard’s title being off due to him being sick, and Kaido basically lived up to his, so I’m really lost on how so many people can’t or don’t realize who and how strong Mihawk is. Besides being Zoro’s goal, him getting a bounty of 3 B should’ve at least gave y’all a reason to be like, “maybe he is strong?” Again not trying to be rude, it’s just odd seeing takes like this.
I know people will say I’m a Mihawk Stan, but I’m not, it’s just odd seeing people disrespect a character that Oda is going out of his way to show us how powerful he is, while also saying Zoro needs to be stronger than at least Shanks of all people, to surpass him.
I’m not even a Zoro/Mihawk fan, Luffy, Ace and Sabo are probably my top three favorite characters in the story, then it’s everyone else.
@@luckylazaros9653Zoro fans?
@@nicholasalexander9866 Zoro fans what? Zoro is one of the main characters of the story. I am talking about delusional scaling Mihawk stans put onto him based on his title only and based on anything Shanks does. Shanks for example one shot Kid and Killer and their entire crew and Mihawk stans literally scaled him as close to that or even beyond the feat of shanks while Mihawk never displayed a Haki feat like that. If Oda came up with a chapter tomorrow where he portrays the Ghandi gorosei guy being stronger than Mihawk, delusional Mihawk stans would still find some twisted way to prove everyone wrong by saying "but but Mihawk is the strongest swordsman so every single character that uses a sword is automatically weaker than him".
Where do people get this narrative from that the Gorosei and Imu are strong? The 6 of them couldn’t even kill Sabo who was carrying Cobra on his back! It’s embarassing

Remember in a couple One piece movies there was a devil character that can teleport in and out of holes. In film gold he was the assistant to Tesoro. That definitely was foreshadowing.
Bros do you plan all this or is it natural! Coz sure as hell it's surreal man .... absolutely love the chemistry between you two ...
One of the hardest scenes in one piece is when the straw hats pulled up strapped on shiki and em
2:17 the guns/sword is an important thing tho in mafia/samurai movies, overkill shows you are a true threat. Black beard had his whole crew shoot up whitebeard. It’s to show how much the celestials hate the people mark by D.
Some guess that I had for why the Gorosei keeps the blickys is that maybe they are slower/it may take too long to transform and attack, or their transformation is linked to Imu . So if they need that quick takedown or if they are not around Imu they use the guns. Also you would think they would be able to catch Wapol
Maybe the guns for dramatic effect like in movies when guns surround a character it shows the the character is trapped and is in a dire situation
I like to think Imu has something to do with Yggdrasil. Since it would be a Tree where the devil fruits originated and Yggdrasil just like the One Piece world is split into 3 Layer. The first layer is where the gods reside. The second is Earth where normal Humans live and the third would be the layer where the fishman live.
personally i always felt like Zunesha is a giant with an awakened ancient or mythical Zoan Elephant fruit considering its size and how we've seen some Zoan transformations increase in size (i.e. Kaido, momo, chopper, Sengoku, etc.) it would make sense that a giant would get way bigger turning into a giant elephant. Plus outside of the Gorosei and Imu only Giants in the story can naturally survive that long. it just fits in my mind lol
and before people bring up the sea water thing the water only comes up to its knees and is never fully submerged, but powers are nerfed due to constantly walking the seas
0:01 Syn be already entertaining the day lmao.......
The Gorosei in this chapter looking like the Memphis Grizzlies starting line-up🐻

Maybe after the fight at God valley was a fight for all of the the strongest devil fruits, because kaido and I think whitebeard obtained their Devil fruits after that fight, and could explain why Marco got his mythical zoan, and could also explain why garp and Roger teamed to fight against Rocks pirates, so that they couldn't be to powerful, just like Blackbeard is building his crew and he's been related to Rocks
The gun thing has to be the silliest nitpick I've heard in a while 😂😂😂
Oda probably like this will be so cool just load on them like gangsters
It wouldn't surprise me if the skypeian technology was used instead of a devil's tail. If you remember the Eisen Whip Ohm used when fighting Zoro. The cloud can be freely shaped whilst still be usable as a blade(retaining its hardness and sharpness). A spear or the tip of Saturn's Staff would have easily been used after all the piercing attack comes from the left of cobra. Maybe even Ghandi. Perhaps another creation made or modified by vegapunk, since most skypeian tech wouldn't work in the blue sea. Also worth noting they are atop the redline.
That haki bullet will go wild when Ben Beckman pulls up ....I wonder if sanji would use a gun 😂😂
That would be hype asf!! In the final war seeing kaido in dragon form with king on top showing to fight for Luffy!!
An absurd use of blicky in this video 🤣🤣🤣
I think that Imu transformed them. If you notice the look on their faces after being transformed, they look almost confused. Of course I may just be reading to much into it. Maybe Imu has the power to transform the celestials into monsters and they transformed the 5 Elders in order to protect them from Sabo’s blast. Also I’m seeing a parallel between Lili and Eve. Both of them shared knowledge that they weren’t supposed to, maybe she has a link to the Sunlight tree Eve. Also, Joyboy could be a stand in for Adam and the Ancient Kingdom might be symbolic of Eden. In both cases the residents where cast out and forbidden to return. I think Imu tricked Lili into joining them and Lili deceived Joyboy but regretted it later and decided not live amongst the celestials. Then she purposefully scattered the poneglyphs because she knew about the second coming of Joyboy and that he would bring about the Dawn.
syv is secretly the owner of that sake business and he’s actually just advertising his products

Agreed. Beast pirates will be in the grand fleet
Shanks sitting down not kneeling when he went to talk to the Gorosei
TBH I can see one of the Gorosei having a Slime fruit based on Brooks reaction to slime on PH with accurate description of what slimes do. He heard about it being acidic from somewhere after all.
When I first read the chapter my interpretation was that the Gorosei weren't "people" per say. Imu has been shrouded in darkness and the attack they use defensively against sabo is named after a shogi move in which the king is surrounded by pawns. Given the Gorosei have this same darkness in their forms I almost think they're beings made by Imu to command the world for him. Not full puppets, sentient enough to act and need ordering, but in times of danger the king can command his pawns. Makes sense why they have guns
That was Sabo’s attack lol, the move is named after the Rook, not the King. He was the Rook that was surrounded by enemies and yet still “checked” the King.
That thumbnail is nightmare fuel
Excellent thumbnail
