It’s honestly superior on AR-15’s as well. Minus the ejection but everything else makes sense, just add a Norgone magazine release and an ambi charging handle. Lefties are lucky. I have to get an ambi safety to use my trigger finger for manipulating the safety like I prefer.
As a right handed cross eyed dominant shooter it’s easier on the eye and ergonomics to shoot left handed on a right handed bolt gun. AR I shoot right handed
It's by far one of my favorite videos yet! Giving customers information that will help understand company decisions will likely impact future purchases for the better. This is why I try to keep with products made in this wonderful country we call USA. Even going local to your area is nice as well.
lol!!!!! Man y’all are so right thanks for saying it out loud… i’m left-handed and I have never used a left-hand gun…. and yes, I’m very fast on the bolt action because it’s right handed. Good work guys love you videos.
Im a lefty and i only shoot righty for bolt guns. Im not doing anything high speed on a bolt gun and even if i was it's faster shooting right handed than let.
Ambi-shooter here, prefer lefty on a righty gun. my hand stays on the grip and eye on the scope while moving the bolt. Its really fast and smooth. Plus hand on grip keeps gun from rotating as you unlock the bolt.
Lefty here as well. Strongly prefer right handed bolt guns. Always made more sense to me to have the bolt actuated by your off hand, but what do I know.
Please don’t feel the need to explain yourself for the hater’s. People just need to relax and trust in “Gun Jesus” need to have faith brother. Invest in the best, buy Q you will only cry twice. One time when pay the bill, the second time is when you hold the magic in your hands, and it’s yours.

I’m a lefty and have never shot a lefty gun, probably be hard at first. Learned to golf with right handed clubs and when tried to swing a lefty club once I hurt my back😅
If your left handed you make it work. Also working around a right handed gun with your left hand just makes you a better shooter. Idk about everyone else but being left handed always forced me to learn alot of things with my right hand. Now im a ambidextrous shooter. So if your complaining about not having left handed setups all i got to say is do better and be better. Become skilled with both hands!
While right handed, I’m left eye dominant so I shoot rifles left handed. Wonder what percentage those of us weirdos make up that would be interested in a wrong handed rifle. I don’t mind shooting right handed bolt guns left handed. Don’t enjoy shooting RH semi autos, especially when suppressed. Glad Stag and Aero make LH options in the AR platforms.
Because its a product designed entirely in 3D software. It's almost as simple as hitting a few buttons to render the design mirrored and make a small batch. They could be listed for $4000 and that small group would buy them.
If you are left handed, you've had to adapt your whole life. Why would this be any different? I don't own a single left handed gun and likely never will.
The US is more like 12% left handed, not 10%. While Q has every right to make or not make whatever they want, this is a boutique product selling to demanding customers for a high price. While Kevin may be going after 20% of the market, the percentage of the gun owning public willing to spend $3K on a rifle (not including suppressor) is probably lower by a factor of ten. Q acknowledges that limited customers are an issue, but left handers are overrepresented among high achievers -- who are precisely the customer base Q is targeting. Interesting fact: of the past 9 presidents, 5 have been lefties. In 1992, Bill Clinton, George Bush Sr., and Ross Perot were *all* left handed. Right now, Q's in the driver's seat with all the excitement about 8.6. But eventually, other manufacturers are going to catch up and Q won't be the only game in town serving the light scout rifle niche. In time, they'll have to become more customer-focused, and it's right about then that I predict they'll decide to offer mirror image versions of their rifles to try to stay a cut above.
It’s kinda like why we don’t have left handed stick shift cars, wait, they do in England. Also, if you are a lefty and want to shoot a fix, just use a mirror, duh 🙄
Thanks for the reminder, Kev! The lefties and their short term memories. You've already stated plenty of times in the past why Q, LLC, doesn't do lefties. 🤣🤣🤣
Ambi mag release, slide release, and safeties should be standard on all guns. Shooting heavy RH bolt guns offhanded as a LH sucks, but shooting from a bench a RH bolt action is ideal.
I thought ambi AR controls would “revolutionize!” the way I shoot but really I never them just sort of “there” cool to engage every now and then but never use them if I’m in super-John-Wick-tactical flow 👌
I just wish customer service would respond. I’ve purchased a few suppressors and a honey badger. Tried reaching out to customer service with some technical questions and literally nothing back from them weeks later. Like I’m not trying to be a Karen but it would be kind of cool if they’d ever get back to customers. They also don’t have a working phone # to call just an answering message directing you to email them! (Yeah about that email )
Still think you should build a Port side Fix and then I would buy it and compare it to my Starboard side Fix that I have, ha! That being said, all the lefty's are correct with their comments. We really can adapt to just about everything.
Still no reason at all to not have AMBI controls on the honey badger. I aint worried about the fix. I want to drop my mag with my pointer finger when shooting my badger. Would be also nice to drop the bolt with my right thumb, but I know that's also a stretch. what would it add in parts. an ounce... give me a break. if I would have known the ghetto blaster existed I definitely would have got it.
Might also “add” a failure point and / or “add” the “feature” of dropping your mag when resting the rifle across your chest but hey we all “love” “features” so enjoy!
It's about eye dominace brother, not your dominant hand. The numbers go a bit more in favor of left eye dominant folks than hand dominant folks. According to wikipedia, for what thats worth, 30% of the population is left eye dominant.
It was developed on CAD type software. It should be as simple as mirroring a few sections of the design and producing a small batch. But, hey, maybe the computer generated design is more complicated to make left handed than a design from 1963.....
Such is the way of lefty life. We adapted, improvised, and overcame before it was cool.
Can confirm lefty is superior on righty bolt guns
