These celebrities are never more relevant and relatable than when they point out social injustice. I mean when Meryl Streep points out social injustice I'm so moved. We tend to focus on the poor and homeless in society but no one really cries for the most vulnerable in our society, our celebrities. It's never been more evident than in the # metoo movement that our celebrities are the victims in our society.
We live in a world where women of colour are constantly forced to battle - not only white men but white women too. Yes we are thriving for a world of equity and inclusion plus to lift and support all women but unfortunately there are women in our midst who sadly due the white male privileged culture, choose to suppress women of colour too - I have seen and heard this and its shocking. So as we march forward, its important to re-educate women too.
Just read other comments I don't think your fighting for skin color.... Your a fighter for all women regardless of colour race or creed ....you seem to just want acceptance and equality for women.,...brilliant speech.......well done for being so highly paid well deserved
TV dramas are difficult because they cannot solely do what is in the best interest of the character, unlike films. Because with the longevity of shows, plot lines are forced to consider the actors personal changes. So, when one of the Mark/Lexie duo decided to leave the show, they gave both of them a united goodbye. I agree, I cried more for that couple than any, but it's definitely not her fault. Especially when Shonda is actually not the showrunner anymore and hasn't been for a while.

The one mistake you ever make shonda is killing off patrick Dempsey. He had a huge influence in people's lives. Derek and meredith had the best love and that's what people crave and want! But good on you for achieving so much! Love you to Ellen xxx
Patrick wanted to leave to fix his marriage, he wouldn’t be who he is if he didn’t choose the women he loves (even though I wish it was Ellen )and his kids over his job , he just like Derek remember when he was really close to choose the job of chief over Meredith but he choose Meredith at the end of the day that’s who he is
