- Tres son las Procesiones que tienen su salida en España en JUEVES DE CORPUS. Una de ellas es GRANADA. Jesús Sacramentado sale ese día en la capital granadina entre vítores, aplausos y petaladas de rosas por parte de las personas que contemplan LA CUSTODIA, a su paso, regalada a la ciudad por los Reyes Católicos, cuando dijeron aquello de " que hagáis una FIESTA tal que parezcáis locos....", hace unos 500 años. Por ello, sólo TOLEDO, GRANADA Y SEVILLA gozan del privilegio de poner en sus calles al Santísimo el JUEVES, como derecho reconocido por la jerarquía eclesiástica. El Domingo volverá a salir Jesús Sacramentado, pero esta vez, ya como acto litúrgico, que se repite en el resto del mundo...

This is why I will always have mutual respect for Spain. Catholicism runs rampant out there and it’s absolutely beautiful. I like how the military are present at some of them as well. Not even America does that and that says a lot.

se trata de LA SALIDA A LAS CALLES DE GRANADA, ESPAÑA, de JESÚS HECHO SACRAMENTO. Dios mismo sacramentado, incorporado a su Custodia de Oro, donada en el siglo XV, por los REYES CATÓLICOS, a la ciudad española de GRANADA
@@LA_REVIRA_ Yes, I understand what the Blessed Sacrament is, Corpus Christi, and the Corpus Christi procession. I am wondering why no one is kneeling as the blessed Sacrament is passing them. As it is customary anywhere I have been that we kneel and or genuflect before Christ or for those that can't to at least bow.
@Chance, I dont know how to answer properly your question, because in Spain, if you are inside a church,you have to kneel when you pass in front of the the Blessed Sacrament or "el sagrario", where he is placed. But in processions we dont have that costume because I think that, for example, in an adoration, you have to be kneeled all the time,not only sometimes, so in processions yo avoid doing the same we dont do it.
But I simply think in some point the tradition lost and we continue without it.

Sad how Catholics no longer know how to behave or are now not taught how to behave before the Blessed Sacrament in procession. There is no reverence now before It. It used to be that you knelt on two knees with your head slightly bowed as It passed by. One had to be dressed modestly and women's heads had to be covered. We see now in this video, people standing and taking photographs and cheering. This was always a solemn event. Europe, the bastion of high Catholic culture should know better and Vatican II has a lot to answer for. How much more can Our Lord take of this?
FRANCIS HEPERI...... vivimos en el S. XXI. por desgracia, aparte de ser un acto Solemne, pues es DIOS mismo , quien sale a la calle, tambien se ve esto, como acto cultural, para la gente congreegada, que no necesariamente, tienen por qué ser todos católicos o cristianos católicos..
Francis... El pueblo es SOBERANO... y decide en todo moomento la forma o modo de reverenciar al Santísimo .
En serio hacen competencia por tener el altar mas bonito? tamaña estupidez. Soy chileno y me averguenza ver que esta procesión lo que menos tiene es una misión pastoral, mas bien una actitud "principesca"
Nicolás, los Altares son para alabar al Altísimo. No se trata de competencia sino de ofrecer lo máximo que pueda ofrecer el ser humano a quien es lo más grande que pueda haber, Jesús Sacramentado.
Los elementos que adornar todo lo relacionado con la liturgia no tienen como fin varagloriarnos sino servir "ad maiorem Dei gloriam"
Cómo se ve que no conoces , hablas de un altar tamaño prisipesa, que no sabes que el que va hay es el rey de reyes el señor de señores, el señor del universo, hay está crédito vivo y glorioso y este altar no es digno para el Dios del universo.

Un dia Dios les va ha quitar El velo de Los ojos. Tu necesitas q Cristo te lleve en sus brazos, y no tu carges una imagen que no Ve, no tiene vida. Despierta tu que duermes y te alumbrara Cristo.
