Installing a Bamboo Friendly Fence on a Chain Link Fence

This is about as simple as fence installations go. We wired an 8 ft. Bamboo Friendly Fence directly to an old chain link to add privacy and style to this backyard. Fence panels available at www.bamboofencer.com.

We used zip ties and it went up quick and easy. OUr bamboo rolls were made of thinner reeds than the cane look in the video. Coming into our 2nd year and it still looks great.

I've seen nylon ties used to secure the bamboo fence by attaching the stainless steel wire used to create the bamboo roll to a chainlink fence. This can be done from the bamboo side only. Once you tighten the nylon, you can clip off the excess and it is nearly invisible.
