I thought you were just giving us a tour🤣🤣
Ta...a u was jest inaczej?😊
They turned that neighborhood into a mess.
Like many places I. Nyc ....I migrant
A cesspool.
I grew up in Jackson Heights during 1967, it used to be Europeans from Italy, Germany or Spain. Today, it is overcrowded, predominately from Latin America. Rental units in the area are overcrowded from 6-10 persons in an apartment, slumlords charge by the number of tenants in an apartment.
Thank a Liberal 😂😂😂e
All foreign, then and now.
@@MrJintensive Difference was Italians and Greeks integrated and became American. Greeks were some of the nicest people in those neighborhoods
Unless you are indigenous Native American we all come from somewhere else. We are all foreigners on there stolen lands.

Wow is newyork city back in the'70 & 80's
The rents and housing costs are insane now. Yes The bad old days are back. Nastier and dirtier than ever.

Correct. So sad.
Never will you get bored there in the culinary world on Roosevelt ave. Tamales and tacos.. the very best.
I loved all the Colombian restaurants that were there in the 80s. I haven't been there since 2002. I'd like to go visit sometime. I'd like to see the new places that have come since then.
na, tamales? iak....corn is for the chickens.

I arrived in NYC. Back in 1996, after stopping by in Queens, Roosevelt Ave. I was shocked by! Like I never leave Mexico city, so I found a place to live on Nassau County Long Island, the next county to the east... if you want more american way! I only go to Queens to get food truck birria tacos, but it is insene to find parking, no traffic law, I never notice something bad, just to crowded for me!
I liked it there in the 80s. It's too expensive today.
Good ole Roosevelt Ave, used to deliver to most of the pharmacies on that ave years ago. Hard to find parking 😩😩😩😩
I love NY
This reminds of Los Angeles, California in the 80s and 90s before they started remodeling buildings along Broadway.
I moved away from NYC two years ago and just increased my life expectancy by years!
Where did u move to?
Jamesville, VA Population less than two hundred. Its between Hooterville and Bugtussle.

Parece o centro do Rio de Janeiro
This place is crazy
Nothing to be ashamed of ladies thank you for your service
You'll probably be ripped off
It’s gotten much more crowded there in the past couple years and it was a mess before now it’s really out of control in that area

Full real scenes👍👍👍I love New York❤❤❤Greetings from Indonesia👋👋👋
It's been almost 28 years since I left; that was pretty nostalgic!
How has it changed in that time. Please elaborate.
A very nice walk in Queens. Thank you.
I lived in NYC FROM 1980 till 1986 ...It was very different then ...first in Jackson Heights , there ...in Queens . And then in Manhattan...hell's kitchen. 48th between 7th and 8th...and then 51st a few blocks from the Museum of Modern Art and Central Park. So many memories. Incredible city never bored . Full of life !!! I live now in another Island...Mercer Island, WA. Thank You.
it rains alot right I love that type of weather.
How was Jackson Heights different back then?
I been in Mercer island well all over wa it’s my fav state

...a very busy, area where I get my veggies very reasonable.
This is why I’m glad there is rural countryside living in America 🇺🇸. I moved furniture in and out of the 5 boroughs in the 1980s. That was enough for me.
@0:22 Those girls booked looks like it was a brothel they were just hanging out and all at once they split. So sad for those girls.

Then I moved to Jersey City NJ, and now I am in retirement in Illinois where I first lived as a 2 month old baby in 1956 after coming from the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Where was I and my late parents born? Havana,Cuba! We immigrated to America legally for NYC in August 1956. 😁
.. i had no idea of any of this! In broad daylight??...thatw crazy
The real American dream, nice to see the happiness and peaceful of this country and his people.😮
NYC government needs to clean this area up. Federal and State government need to provide training programs and jobs.
Too busy welcoming Illegals
1:00 Pollo Campero Sighting! it's everywhere! :)
Wow how different from 1965 when I lived on 79 street and 34 Avenue Jackson heights.
Roosevelt and 103 street is corona
34th Ave. is nice.
There are so many street vendors like in some developing countries in Asia. I think they are not legal. Since when NY city like this?
Since democrats and liberals taking over.
Oh they're legal. It definitely is cheap for a vendors permit. NYC would fine the he'll out of them if they were illegal trust that. They don't want to have to pay those fines. NYC will never change that when it comes to making their money.
Well I can take that back. Most are legal(the ones selling hot food)
Since usa admin place numskulllllll to do intellectual job ....
And they throw their food and oil all over the streets and don't pay taxes...they have no respect for the neighborhood

que camera vc usa. who camera you use, beautiful imagens
It’s so funny how they run and hide when they see your camera don’t they realize they are always on camera. I love this area of queens. I will be there tonight! Corona queens!
Sometime It’s because they are illegals and fear the immigration police. They are forced to work since they don’t have access to social security.
Corona, where most of the people there are illegal aliens. That explains why they run away from your video camera.

OOw shit man, in the first few minutes of this video I thought I was watching a Latin country 😄 I never thought Queens was this multi-ethnic. Some parts of London are just like this. love it!
Queens, New York, is the most diverse populous borough in the United States, and indeed in the world. A few years ago, the districts’ officials adopted the nickname of “The World’s Borough” for Queens, to reflect its cultural diversity.
From Burmese to Spanish to Kuranko, languages from all corners of the world can be heard along its streets. Former borough president Melinda Katz installed “Welcome to the World’s Borough” signs throughout the neighbourhoods to emphasize the multi-cultural makeup of the people of Queens, the most diverse county in America. The move was part of a marketing campaign aimed at encouraging residents and visitors alike to take advantage of the many different culinary, cultural and retail attractions that are offered by the borough’s residents, who represent more than 120 countries and speak more than 135 languages.
