Interesting video. It makes me think of this last Ramadan. During Ramadan, there were rumors that Saudi Arabia was preventing people from eating in mosques.
I was among those who believed it.
However, after reading the article, I learned that the intention was to promote more hygienic eating habits, such as eating outside instead of inside the mosques.
Muslims shared this information more than non-Muslims because who else would care more about fasting, right?
People ate in and outside mosques throughout Ramadan.
Saudi is actually in a strong position to dictate what it wants and with time, who knows what else western governments will capitulate to in terms of the Saudis and Gulf countries in general having the upper hand.

It was not rumours, it was a law that they had implemented and it was true. All of the points in that law were anti-Islamic, and most were marketed as caring for the believers.

They arrested people calling for boycotts and fined a woman who posted a video about lack of boycotts 10k riyals. He calls out the article for not citing sources which is fair enough but then goes on to support his own point by personal anecdote and spinning things and pure speculation

But I always find it interesting that you tend to defend the golf states and Muslim countries a bit more than they deserve. The western countries are still powerful in every aspect. I’d say that will be the case going forward for the next 5-10 years. I agree in this case that people should not spread information that is unfounded. That being said, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and other "Muslim"-led nations have shown us what side they are on. The poor Houthis in Yemen have done more than all these "Muslim"-led nations combined. South Africa has done more than all of them combined. We know that they factually have helped Israel in many ways, including shooting down missiles for them, providing them information, and aiding them in many other ways. I think Brother Shahid is a bit too forgiving of these nations and is a bit too optimistic about their intent to play a long-game and that they actually have good intentions to help Palestine.

Wrong. The deal is based on a 'clear pathway to a Palestinian State' as stated by the Saudis. Not the establishment of a Palestinian State.
These are clearly not the same.
In other words, the immediate terms of the deal includes normalisation of Israel and the non-immediate terms (meaning before they actually occur) includes a pathway to a Palestinian State.
In conclusion, normalisation can occur without a Palestinian state in the hope that the "pathway" will work out how theyve drawn it.
The state department spokesman also just said that the part of the deal which includes the Palestinian State will ultimately be Israels decision. So if normalisation occurs before the State is established, then the State is pending Israeli approval. Lol. I wonder how that will turn out.
