  • When it comes to mobile security systems, there are two major players that stand out: Samsung Knox and Apple Security.
    Samsung Knox is a framework for the administration of security that was developed by Samsung. Its purpose is to guarantee that any private information that is saved in Samsung-made devices remains secure. It provides a wide range of functionalities, such as data encryption, remote access control, and protection against viruses.
    Apple Security, on the other hand, is a hardware and software security system that focuses on securing the operating system of Apple devices to guarantee that only approved programs are able to operate on them. Additionally, it comes with capabilities such as the encryption of data and protection against viruses.

    Samsung: If you are worried about data leaks, go for Samsung
    Apple: If you are worried about leaking of personal data stored in the apps you use, Use Apple

    It'd be nice to hear this video without all the marketing BS. What I'd like to know is how Samsung Knox secures anything for me as a consumer. For example is the data on the on the drive encrypted. Does this offer data protection if someone copies my phone, or is this just password protection. What no one needs to hear is the same security stuff to every security company says rather they offer anything or not.

      This. Please, for the love of all that is holy. Is my work profile using Knox fully sandboxed and unable to access my personal data? How is it implemented? (besides using a proprietary chip?) What features does it provide, in detail? What are its limitations.

    I appreciate that you've posted this, but as a viewer I'm frustrated by how long it takes to get to actually useful content. A long time is spent saying basically the same thing reworded: "Let's compare Apple Security to Android Knox." Okay, please get on with it. Then it's just high-level fluff without much detail.

      That's a lie. I choose Samsung because I prefer android over ios and specifically choose Samsung literally because of knox. Gives me peace of mind that my content is safe and secure, not to mention the ultra sonic fingerprint sensor is more secure than all the rest

    • @Dwigt_Rortugal
      @Dwigt_Rortugal Před měsícem

      @@alvarez321The ultrasonic fingerprint reader has been a major frustration of mine on Samsung devices. I had TouchId for years and it just worked. There were very few bad reads. I'm constantly fumbling with Samsung's reader, often getting 3 bad reads consecutively. FaceID is light years ahead and is basically instant. It uses LIDAR and is very sophisticated. I disagree that Samsung's fingerprint reader is "more secure than all the rest." If you can cite some empirical technical data, you might be able to change my mind. I have spent a lot of time using both companies' devices.

    • @Dwigt_Rortugal

      @@Kirby7601Ouch. 😬 Your mobile carrier is primarily interested in your monthly payments and contract loyalty. All their incentives and freebies are in support of those goals, primarily to make it more inconvenient to switch carriers. I loathe the bloatware and restrictions imposed by my carrier. For example, they disabled Google's backup mechanisms to try to force everyone to use the carriers' cloud service. (Making it difficult to switch carriers) I will never again get a device under contract, and I most definitely don't trust them to make sound decisions from a security perspective.

      Knox is an inbuilt chip. How does deleting apps help you achieve greater speeds? If deleting apps gives you greater smoothness, then either your phone has very low RAM or you have used up all your storage. I have a Samsung Galaxy J6, A7, and S6 Edge (not using them anymore), and they still run reasonably well.

      @@Farhan_049 this video doesnt actually address anything in any level of detail. it is a cursory discussion of security concerns that exist, not the ACTUAL strengths, when it comes to Knox. it is misleading because it provides very little if any tangible evidence of how Knox specifically functions, it most certainly does not discuss whether or not it is better than Apple's privacy either. so it is laughable to have a video titled like this, when the s23 just came out and you have people researching such topics, that fails to actually show what Samsung is doing. in fact, there is very little security content on what Samsung has done and is doing to improve infrastructure from a security standpoint. let alone any comparison with iOS
