Kind of funny how SNES BC3 gets the "GBA treatment" while the GBA BCs get the "SNES treatment."
Even with the RMX courses, the only RMX course that isn’t a variant of a SNES theme is… GBA Bowser Castle
Except GBA BC4. That got the GBA treatment. And to be fair GBA Bowser castle 1,2, and 3 were released before GBA tracks were getting MASSIVE overhauls. Yes Sunset came out around that time but is still fairly flat. Now that these tracks are being overhauled I think they've stepped up their game a lot. Especially when comparing it to the disaster that was Sky Gardens

Nah, what they did to GBA BC2 and 3 is worse than an SNES remake, they don't even look like the track they're supposed to be
Several times this past year, I made the argument to my brother on how SNES Bowser's Castle would probably be the best choice for the final SNES track in the BCP.
Needless to say, when that Mario Kart Tour tweet showing off Bowser's Castle 3 came out, I was proud.
Talking about GBA BC, I’m so happy about how it seems to be destroyed, I’ve always wanted to have a Bowsers Castle track that was set in one that was abandoned and in ruins, and it seems like it’s going to be like that.

3DS BC kinda had that theme, and I agree that it’d be nice to see it fully adopted

@@PhantomOfficial07 Well, no. But Shroom Ridge and Snow Land appeared in MK8D before Tour so the same might happen with GCN Bowser's Castle.
Assuming that for future DLC characters, they will similarly tie a character to a track (like they did Birdo with Yoshi's Island), Kamek can easily be tied with Bowser Castle 3, heck the Bowser Tour is doing that as well.

I can’t believe I was right on an SNES Bowser’s Castle but not on Airship Fortress. Tbh I’m excited for its inclusion in the BCP. Personally I’d want to see it in Wave 5 but it being Wave 6 wouldn’t be bad either as long as the track in general is included over any of the other SNES tracks.

For the longest time I'd always been a Vanilla Lake 2 believer, but I will absolutely not say no to Bowser Castle 3! I recognized it immediately the moment I saw the screenshot, because I'd know that section of the track anywhere! Both VL2 and BC3 are top 3 SNES tracks but Bowser Castle 3 is even better, so I'm excited to get to play on it in Tour (and hopefully 8 Deluxe wink wink nudge nudge).

Wave 1 yes, but each subsequent wave they did more and more. If Riverside Park was in wave one, it wouldn't have all that great texturing, along with Waluigi Stadium and Maple Treeway.

Your logic for which SNES tracks had no/very low chances of being added are identical to what I’ve been saying for a few weeks now, I couldn’t agree more. Fingers crossed for BC3 to claim its rightful spot in the Booster Course Pass, even if it’s moved to Wave 6.
I used to think Vanilla Lake would be in there instead, but I'm now going with Bowser's Castle 3 because we already have so many snow-themed courses, including DK Summit, Snow Land, and Merry Mountain in the Booster Pass, not to mention Vancouver Velocity is coming as well.
Like GBA Bowser Castle 4 was saved to be extremely more abitious than the other three variants, i would love that SNES Mario Circuit 4 receive that treatment that they gave to GBA Bowser Castle 4
Im all for Vanilla Lake or a Bowsers Castle coming back as theyve received the least attention in remakes discounting Tour.
Wave 5 would be perfect tbh. If Piranha plant cove is added in Wave 5 with Bowser castle it would be great for adding both Petey Piranha, and Fan favorite. As well as Kamek! Plus the Mario Movie recently released in Japan so Kamek would be perfect for potential cross promotions! Personally i think it'll stay as the third track in the Cherry cup. Uf you remember correctly the Cherry cup is in the same position as the Lightning cup in base game. Which holds the harder retros in base game. So why not put BC3 in? Its on the second half to the DLC and is the fourth cup so have a tedious track in there. Plus Wave 2 had Mushroom Gorge and Waluigi Pinball which could be tedious especially at 200cc.
SNES Bowser Castle 3 is so modified from the original that I don’t want it in the BCP, not because I don’t like the track (I mean, come on!), but because it’s not really representative of an SNES course anymore.
By that logic then all the GBA tracks in MK8 dont represent GBA since they have changes as well. adding depth to a track isnt a bad thing as long as the layout is close to the original.
And wanting any other SNES track over BC3 as the last SNES track in MK8 is just crazy to me, especially after we waited over 30 years for a 3D remake of a SNES BC.
@@rxntei4019 The difference, in my perspective, is that the SNES tracks are retro and flat to represent how the series started, and the GBA tracks were supposed to be modern courses that were held back by the hardware, and thus given a second chance. This is what 8 and Tour have done with the SNES and GBA courses until now.

I love to think about how the track thumbnails will look and make "predictions" for them myself - it's so fun to observe the patterns Nintendo uses to design these images and to utilize them for predicting what they will design themselves...
I almost perfectly predicted the preview image for DS Mario Circuit, Nintendo used the exact same image of the Goomba that they used for a promotional picture and so I had access to it as well.
Predicting these has almost grown on me more than predicting the tracks since we don't have that many unknown tracks to predict left.
I feel like Bowser Castle 3 will be the third track in the Feather Cup. Many of the Booster Course Pass Cups have a course that works well as a mascot.
For the Golden Dash Cup, you could argue it was Toad Circuit, due to it being Toad & Toadette's item in Double Dash!!.
For the Propeller Cup, you could argue it's Sky-High Sundae.
For the Rock, Moon & Fruit Cups, it's obvious Rock Rock Mountain/Alpine Pass, Rainbow Road & Yoshi's Island.
Out of everything datamined for Wave 5, Bowser Castle 3 would be the only thing to fit that cup as it's the only other game pre-Booster Course Pass with the Feather as an item.

My god, SNES Bowser’s Castle 3’s remake blows literally every single other remake of an SNES track out of the water that it would be an absolute shame if it didn’t come to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as the final SNES track

I think bowser castle 3 is coming back because since vanilla lake only has 2 variants snes mario circuit 3 and donut plains 3 are in the game Nintendo would like that idea putting the 3rd version of a snes track so yea in my opinion we'll most likely get bowser castle 3

Nintendo may move the snes bowser’s castle to wave 6 and maybe move one of the wave 6 tracks to replace it instead. It’s just more fitting and the prefix leak is not 100% accurate already

Great video and yeah, I'd be really surprised and sad if Bowser's Castle 3 weren't part of the BCP considering the effort they put into it compared to every other SNES remake (other than Vanilla Lake with the change you suggested on top of the ad which is why I thought that was coming before the reveal), either in its original spot or where you suggested!
The amount of arguments I got into with kids screaming that its going to be vanilla lake. please nintendo
@AlbertBoris Looking back on the Prefix Datamine, it's possible we still get 4 GCN tracks, with one of them ending up being Waluigi Stadium.
And after the shuffling with Maple Treeway, this could result in either Wave 5 or Wave 6 to be the only wave to have 2 Retro Tracks originating from the same console.
2 of those 3 remaining tracks I'm leaning towards are Daisy Cruiser for either Wave 5 cup; and Mushroom City for the 2nd or 3rd race of the Spiny Cup IF Athens Dash kicks off that cup, making Mushroom City "the City Track to end all City Tracks".
Wave 3 had two 3DS courses.

Honestly I'd rather see the bowser castle course over vanilla lake since we have a few ice courses including gba snow land. Plus with the glow up bowser castle got and the fact they could drop kamek along with it works perfectly

While I think I think it looks nice I still hope for Vanilla Lake simply cause it's my favorite course from the SNES and I hope if it's not here it comes back in whatever is to come next game given it would become the only track layout from the original to not reappear aside from Tour and the bonus SC cups

That is true! With Wave 3 however, there were also five retro courses, as opposed to three in Wave 6 (in the prefix leak), so there was still a bit of variety!
Even if its a little too easy for the spiny cup it needs to be in there. Finish the booster course pass with bowsers castle followed by rainbow road. It just feels right.
I love how you say the 3rd track of a cup is usually more ambitious than the 1st and 2nd then continue to say Vanilla Lake(two tracks that are literally just over glorified circles) would be a good fit for that OVER SNES Bowser's Castle 3.
To be fair, I do later on in the video state that SNES Bowser Castle would be an even better fit for the same reason lol!
I have no doubt that Bowser Castle 3 will be the last SNES track. It's the best chance we have to get a Bowser Castle track in the BCP at this point.
I still think it's going to be in Wave 5, though. Despite its glow-up, it's still an SNES track at the end of the day, and I think people will only be so excited for it. Like with the GBA tracks, their redesigns were cool, but not enough to make the best of each wave. So I think Nintendo will save more ambitious courses for Wave 6.
I would think that Bowser’s castle of SNES would make a glory return to Booster Course Pass, because of the angel

the argument for vanilla lake completely clashes with the argument against ghost valley, "same theme but different wave is fine", not that either are going to be added anyway but even before snes bc3 they seemed just as unlikely

I think it’s safe to say BC3 is the last SNES track. No retro Bowsers Castle yet, every other SNES track blends with another track in the DLC, and the track just looks like it was made for MK8.
if snes bowser castle 3 was originally planned for wave 5, i see no reason to believe they would suddenly move it to wave 6, more likely it was put in wave 5 intentionally because something else (gcn bowsers castle, intense nitro idk) was intended for wave 6.
Definitely not GCN Bowser's Castle. Mario Kart Tour datamines show that it's probably never coming to the game.

I would put SNES Bowser Castle 3 as the second slot for the Feather Cup
1. To reference both Super Mario Kart and Super Mario World, since both games featured the Feather item, as well as both of them being SNES Games. In addition, the music is a remix of Bowser’s theme from SMW.
2. Every SNES Track in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are placed in a 2nd Slot:
Donut Plains 3 in Banana Cup
SNES Rainbow Road in Triforce Cup
Mario Circuit 3 in Turnip Cup

It should have been more obvious in the beginning of the BCP that it would be a Bowser Castle. Both Vanilla lakes are considered some of the worst tracks in Super Mario Kart, if not the entire franchise. They are slippery, ice block-y, glorified circles.
And to anyone still in denial, why would they completely overhaul and add all of these upgrades to a SNES track in Tour, not to mention the obvious anti-grav section. And on top of that, why did they go with Bowser Castle 3 specifically? It is all just too obvious, and anyone who still believes either of the Vanilla Lakes are more likely needs to do a reality check.
However, I am not too sure about it getting pushed back to Wave 6. There bone piranha plants have been datamined assets in Tour for a while now, so they have been working on this course for a long time. I know Wii Rainbow Road will have been in Tour almost a year before it's BCP debut, but part of me really hopes to see Bowser Castle 3 in Wave 5.
(Also, I am starting to hope we don't get Sunset Wilds. It is way too overrated in my opinion, and the Tour remake is close to Sky Garden with how bad it was butchered. If anything, I am REALLY hoping we get Yoshi Desert over Sunset Wilds, but I know that is probably quite unlikely. Yoshi Desert was changed in tour, but it still has all of its turns.)

I really want SNES Bowser Castle over Vanilla Lake because for Vanilla Lake, we already had GBA Snowland. And on top of that, we already had a lot of snow tracks in the game.
Yeah it's most likely Bowser Castle 3 because of the track elevation and one section looking it like it has anti gravity material.

I disagree since can still see that happening since we need a winter themed track in both waves because which is why Vanilla Lake is the most likely pick than 2 beach themed tracks in the same wave, so i still believe that Vanilla Lake as a HIGH chance to get in the pass, but i do think we could expect a UNexpected retro track for the last SNES slot instead like Koopa Beach 1 or Bowser Castle 2 instead of Bowser Castle 3.

Most likely, SNES Bowser’s Castle 3 will be the last SNES course in the Booster Course Pass since the course has been heavily redesigned for potential anti-gravity sections made for the Booster Course Pass.

I personally would rather have Vanilla Lake, because I feel like they could combine Vanilla Lake 1 and 2 to make it a bigger track all together, and I'm not a fan of any SNES Bowser Castle's and GBA Bowser Castle's
I severely doubt they would, certainly not because I think Nintendo's lazy or anything but because they've never wholesale merged tracks like that before in history and would likely prefer to keep some level of separate integrity. You could argue they're currently merging tracks with the tour ones but those were always meant to be connected variants of the same course rather than technically distinct tracks like the SNES ones
I want SNES Bowser's Castle 3 for Wave 5 it'd be 10/10
I have already made a comment but something I just realised is that the 2nd track of the 2nd cup in each wave has been a retro track that is revealed for Mario kart 8 before tour. I think Mushroom Bridge is settling wave 5 Cherry cup 2nd spot. There are a few other tracks that are placed other places that weren’t added into tour until after 8 but it has a strong record now.
That wont happen because Mushroom Bridge was datamined and revealed WAY BEFORE MK8D did, so the only remaining GCN tracks that WASNT leaked or datamined are:
Beach Beach, Mario Circuit or Bowser's Castle, and the reason why i didnt include ALL GCN track that wherent datamined is because of difficultly, because Luigi Circuit is the 1st track of the game anyways and the easiest, Wario Colosseum wont work since Waluigi Stadium is already in the game in the pass already and i dont see Rainbow Road or any variant to get in regardless of popularity since i feel that this whole pass is very similar towards the original MK8's DLC in which the last track of DLC didnt end with a retro Rainbow Road
I always disliked Vanilla Lake 1 and Vanilla Lake 2... but I LOVE THE MUSIC. It is very distinct and is one of my favorite Mario Kart music pieces in the series. So if Vanilla Lake comes, I will be so mixed overall.

I actually have to argue against 3rd slot and going to bring up the mk8 u dlc, snes rainbow road was put in the second place of the triforce cup and despite bowsers castle snes having that atmosphere I still believe it will fall in the easier/simpler track layout second slot pattern maybe with unique mobs like Mario Circuit and Riverside Park did, especially if we having both a GCN and Wii track they will probably repeat the more ambitious/fan favourite track in 3rd slot. Certainly possible it could be 3rd, I just believe it will be 2 in the acorn cup.

Sunset Wilds (It just fits here, it will probably have a new gimmick to make the track a bit more interesting.)
Daisy Cruiser (Fan favourite, probably the planned GCN track of this wave)
MobDK (I think La Laps will be the final track of this wave)
Madrid (This is the most unsure track for me.)
Mushroom Bridge (PATTERNS have shown that each wave in the 2nd cup and 2nd slot have revealed tracks before they are revealed for tour: Shroom Ridge, Snow Land, Peach Gardens and Mario Circuit)
Koopa Cape (Fan Favourite)
LA Laps (Final track energy but that’s all I can say)
But the only question is what about Piranha Plant Cove? It's 100% coming in with Petey Piranha. And Petey will probably get the spot next to King boo on the roster, that would be the next wave.
@@JS-ir4sh I understand your point but with the fast track of new courses and assuming mobDK could be Donkey Kong crossover around July based on the arcade release I just think it would be better to get the crossover tracks out of the way while wave 6 can focus on the other tour nitros. Either MobDK or Piranha Plant Cove could fit in wave 5 depending on the design choice Nintendo takes, just a matter of time.
Peach Gardens and DS Mario Circuit were already in Mario Kart Tour when they came to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

(i'm still predicting dino dino jungle over dk mountain because 1. mobdk could very well be based on the "drivin' me bananas" scene from the mario movie; 2. it's one of the hardest tracks in mario kart series history; and 3. the tour team just really likes it)
MobDK more likely stands for 'Desert Kingdom' or 'Daisy Kingdom'.

You've seen the light! Bowser Castle in Wave 6! I think it'll be in the spiny cup just before Wii Rainbow Road, however. I think if a cup has only one retro track, it should be from a more popular game than SNES, so I'd put Dino Dino Jungle in the acorn cup
What if the last snes course has been moved to the spiny cup right before where Wii Rainbow Road is speculated to arrive
Then what game could replace the SNES slot in wave 5 if it's moved to wave 6?

If it's in the Spiny Cup, it will be the second course. New non-city courses are always at the end of a cup unless there's a Rainbow Road course, where it's instead the third.

Vanilla Lake conflicts with GBA Snow Land, which we have in Wave 2, and a large range of other snow and ice tracks that are in the game. We don’t need another snow/ice track.
On the topic of both SNES Bowsers Castle 3 and GBA Bowser's Castle 4 getting ported into tour, am I the only one that has been daydreaming about combining both into one super lengthy ultimate retro Bowsers Castle? Make it a 2 lap course like Wario Colloseum, if it's too long. Similarly with Yoshi's Desert and Dry Dry Ruins. I know Nintendo won't do that, but they would be some very cool tracks for the end of the booster course pass.
RIGHT NOW i'd still dont see Bowser Castle 3 to fit in both waves since we can easily get a SNES track that wasnt datamined or that is already exited in Tour the only themed tracks that we DONT have YET are:
Koopa Beach 1 or Bowser Castle 2 IF Vanilla Lake's 1 or 2 doesnt make it.

I’m pretty sure it will be Bowser Castle 3. Vanilla Lake is a boring and simple track and it doesn’t make any sense to bring it back in Wave 5. Also I think Dry Dry Ruins could be returning instead of Koopa Cape if they end up not making a Cairo City Track
According to Tour datamines, there definitely won't be a Cairo course. Koopa Cape was also datamined for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Unless Dry Dry Ruins was considered as the final course to close off the Booster Course Pass at some point, we're not getting it.
Oh I see but is the banner leak 100% reliable? Maybe it’s an early version or something. I love Koopa Cape but Tour’s version felt a little disappointing

SNES BC3 looks incredible in Tour, they HAVE to bring it to the BCP and hopefully wave 5. If they don't put it in and instead put Vanilla Lake, I will riot.
Before the reveal of BC3, I was like "why would they remake ANOTHER SNES track? They are so boring!"
But Nintendo shut me up with Bowser Castle 3
Unless the SNES track is moved to Wave 6, I still say it's Vanilla Lake for the last SNES track

we have this incredible glowup that would finally give us a retro bowser castle in mk8 and it doesn't clash with the theme of any other tracks in the bcp
vanilla lake is not only yet another snow/ice track, but is an over glorified circle (both variants are) and is flat in mkt
which btw every bcp model is a tour model that's been improved, very noticeable even in bangkok rush (look at its start gate)

So they remade bowsers castle 3 and gave it a big remake that looks like it'd be in mk8 and it shares a 3 like mario circuit 3 and Donut plains 3 and its all just a coincidence?
the way it is remade is basically proof for coming to bcp. Why would they put so much afford on an snes track.

The SNES course isn't SNES Bowser Castle 3.
It's actually called "SNES Bowser Castle" (or maybe "SNES Bowser's Castle").
It's all 3 combined, where each lap is a different SNES Bowser's Castle.
How would this work exactly? Well, it would obviously work like the city courses. But in terms of layout itself? Well, one word. Elevation. The 3 different SNES Bowser's Castles would simply cross over, or under each other (or in some cases, share sections of the same track). Alternatively, different parts of the track sink into, or rise out of the lava, changing the layout each lap.
I really hope its the Bowser Castle one. Cuz literally it has a godtier glow up and like WE NEEDED A BOWSER CASTLE. WE HAVENT SEEN A BOWSER CASTLE SINCE 2014 ALREADY. AND WE HAD 6 THOUSANDS SNOW MAPS. GIVE US SOMETHING. You can't just give a Bowser Castle a GLOW UP in Tour and THEN give us Snow Land. Like who tf are you trying to PLEASE. The people who BROUGHT THE DLC ALONG with the GAME that SOLD OVER 20 MILLION UNITS. Or the TOUR ppl alone. Just give us respect Nintendo. Dont FFFFF this up.

I feel like I'm the only one who still thinks that Vanilla Lake (no idea which one tho) will get in. Nintendo wouldn't be THAT lazy to put the advertisement of the track that isn't (or in this case, won't be) in the game.

There was a Coconut Mall reference in Super Bell Subway... 7 years before the Booster Course Pass. It clearly wasn't hinting at anything, as the Booster Course Pass wouldn't have been planned 7 years in advance.
