What I read, the Celestials lost the war against the Aspirants. The Aspirants were the ones who built the Godkiller armor and almost wiped them out. They then stripped the armor and used it for their fleet. They effectively left the Celestials alone, as they were low in number. The Celestials regrouped. The Aspirants had an internal civil war, so the Celestials struck at them when they were at their weakest.

Wait so does Rob just rabble off the dome from memory in these history videos? Wild if true.
This was coming from recorder android telling it to Tony Stark though and it was from billions of years ago. They simply might have gotten the details mixed up or the android was defective in some way. We never did see these events depicted or transpire until these comics to be fair. It's important to note that this information did not come from either of these factions, it was second hand at best, if not far more removed than that.

I still go back and watch Rob's AMAZING video on the history of the Marvel Universe. It has the old format where Rob spoke a lot more softly and wasn't anywhere near as animated as he is now. I do much prefer the newer format for the most part, but that video will always be one of my faves. The score alone is a lot of fun. I think I'll go watch it right now, as a matter of fact.

This is probably one of my favorite videos about marvel comics ever to be made. It explains how the marvel universe started, from the VERY beginning. Bascially the Big Bang of the marvel universe. I’ve always wondered how the beyonders existed in the beyond verse, or why the celestials existed. Who created them? TOAA? This video is very entertaining and ties everything together

Basically, it’s not the real body. It’s a feat, but it ain’t nowhere near putting Blue Marvel at the Beyonder’s level.
@@fishnewt1331 it’s no different than hunter prey doomsday killing darkseid even we know from newer comics that was only a avatar. A matter form of Beyonder was shown and he was powerful and got defeated.

What Al Ewing is to Marvel’s space epics is Geoff Johns is to DC’s space epics. Marvel was so cheeks for cancelling Ultimates2 (drawn by Kenneth Rocafort). Such a good squad and perfect use of their intellect and powers. Eternity was in chains it was crazy.
What happenend to that story? Did they retcon that with the hulk stuff and that BS green door nonsense?

He's never gonna finish that story. I think it's because he knows it is just the vocal minority that wants it. Most of us don't care, lol. I would definitely watch it if he did finish it, but I don't see it happening.

A part of that Ulimates run isn't canon according 2 the Ultimate Invasion event. Could be that Hickman might be taking the whole run as non-canon.
Hey Rob hope all is well with you. Hope you can do a video on the news on Doctor Strange 3 news along with how it associates with Hickmans "Time Runs Out" story and the Black Priests. Along with how they're saying at the end of it that its gonna come down too Strange v Kang in Secret Wars to decide the multiverse and who you think wins that fight.

Can you imagine this premise in real life? Like, imagine if you were around then and a Silver Surfer-esk type being to one of these Celestials. That was only the first firmament. I guess this is why Knull was so powerful. He came from a point where power was abundant and fresh. The things you'd know. The stories you could tell. Watching an entire galaxy just being exed out for simply being deemed unworthy. Is the First Firmament Zeno? Lol
This premise has been in real life since recorded history. This is just a spin on the creation story. Thus the first “firmament”. The angels that fell were often translated as celestial beings. The idea of the creations showing their offerings then God approving parallels Cain and Abel.
MmmNot really. The biblical creation story is one about God coming upon the face of the earth and there was darkness and you can look up the rest after he said let there be light. Scientific, is the big bang and the expansion of the universe. This comic story is about an entity that created the entire universe and the celestials. Those celestials created galaxies, not universes, and put on trial to be deemed worthy or unworthy of continued existence. After the separation of the group and the war that broke out, their universe Collapsed and birthed either ours or one of the universes that lead to ours. Galan(Galactus) is a being from the previous universe. It may have references of our creation story but it doesn't even follow it in a general way.
Also, technically in marvel EVERYONE is right. Every religion has truth to it. They just happened to be cosmic entities, worshipped as a deity.
Dont bring dbs into this, their origin story is pretty dumb, this one is wayyy better. The first firmament, the first cosmos, the second cosmos, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and multiversal enternity , such an amazing story. Knull wasnt around during the first firmament , he was born between the 5th and 6th....
the cosmic side of marvel will always be my favourite!!

I wish you explain to everyone what the MCU is doing. Everyone is confused about the multiverse and branch timelines and demotions. You understand and I get it. The writers at marvel themselves dont even know the difference as they make a lot of mistakes. Why isnt gamorra taken by thw TVA? Why is the MCU confusing timelines, universes and dimensions? Stop pretending to bw smarter then everyone and just accept that the MCU went down hill. They should have kept it simple and sweet: Wanda breaks the multiverse, a bunch of shot happens, she has to put it back together, erasing different universes and creating one main timeline and universe with avangers AND MUTANTS. Also simply writw that kang was the one who split it all up to take over everything and voila , you got yourself tons of great movies....

In marvel avanger beyond the writer say that the celestial created cal Horra (the lost one) and the lost one is the one who created the beyonder. But what I don't understand his why the og beyonder is afraid of the lost one since his not from the ivory kings race? I need some clarification

Did the first firmament create Knull? Because what I remember is that Knull got the Nercosword from a Asprin whom fought a Celestial and they crashed on Knull's planet.
No. Knull was awaken long after the celestial war, when they were spreading out the universe, creating galaxies.the celestial only met him by chance when they were creating galaxies and in turn disturbed him from his long slumber when they created the first light in his domain of darkness.
Later he made the necrosword and had his first fight with a celestial, decapitated the head off a celestial. Later he was banished by fellow celestial.
Knull isnt even close to thia, even galactus is older the knull or around the same age , know was born after the 5th cosmos got desteoyed and right before eternity was born

Can you explain who the most powerful god in marvel as of now? Because in another video you said that the lost one might be the current strongest being, but like shouldnt the one above all be the most powerful being because he is supposed to represent the will of the writers of marvel. And yes Thanos did beat the one above all, but then again that wasnt canon, and there is no real confirmation that All above others and the one above all are the same thing. And I have also seen arguments that say true form darkseid is the most powerful.

I think Al Ewing and Jonahthan Hivkman should just write their own stories that exist in their own universes. I'm not a fan of drastic changes to established lore. These changes are not likely going to go back "the the status quo" as Rob often says.
