    Bill and Robert lost money, fame, and fortune, well beyond anything Brady was asking for, when they let him walk. What’s 3-4 more years of a dynasty and TB12 retiring a Patriot worth, because that’s what they gave up over what amounted to peanut shells on a bar floor.

      @@fatpatlives1998If they signed Tom for three more years they could have drafted a QB and let him learn from Tom. Bills approach to the QB position was the worst thing he could have done, which was no plan at all. In the 11hr hour they bring in Cam Newton and then let him go and put everything on a Mac. I will never under why he did not bring in a veteran QB. Instead we had two terrible players playing the most important position on the field.

      @mtadams2009 they tried to do that...Robert made bill trade Jimmy G . I will say passing on Lamar Jackson was worse than letting Brady go...they could have won a SB and had a replacement qb

      @@fatpatlives1998 They could not keep both Jimmy and Tom, Tom was the much better player. Jimmy has won nothing. I have noticed in the comment section all good decisions were Bills and all the bad ones were Krafts. I hold the total lack of commitment to the QB position on Bill. He could have signed Tom until he was 45 like Tom wanted and they drafted a QB it picked up a veteran. This team is now an expansion team on the offensive side of the ball. That is all on Bill.

    Joe Milton from Tennessee Vols is excellent QB prospect. His highlight reels are as good or better than Jayden Daniels. Drafting him would allow for an elite O lineman or MHJ plus extra picks in a trade down. The overall team needs major upgrades at most positions to even be competitive for a wild card sot

    Eliot Wolf worked side by side with Brian Gutekunst under Ted Thompson in Green Bay. They both were finalists, along with Russ Ball for the GM job. When Eliot didn't get the job he left for Cleveland.

    Normally, MOST NFL dynasty franchises, MOST, have years of success when the cemetery is good between Coach and quarterback. And that success USUALLY last 8 to 10 yrs, if a franchise is lucky! Like the celebrated 60's Packers all the way up to the modern day Chief franchise. But, usually those Dynasties end due to player retirements, free agency, coaches leave, etc. For the Patriots dynasty of 2000 to 2024 under Belichick, that franchise broke the mold. In fact, the Patriots had two dynasties. Those two sets of teams, with three common denominators, Kraft, Brady and Belichick. Even when the Patriots didn't go to the Super Bowl in between those years from 2000 to 2024, they were in the hunt. Only missing the playoffs 4 times in 24 yrs under Bill, which in one season was a 11-5 record, Bill kept them in the hunt. The Patriots in those 24 yrs under Belichick, averaged more winning seasons than most NFL franchises have in those 24 yrs. Jerry Jones who's Cowboys haven't been to a conference championship game since 1995. The 49ers haven't won a Super Bowl since 1994. All those great Jet teams under Rex Ryan went to conference championship games, but lost. The competition in the AFC during that Patriot run was against HOFers like Manning, Rivers, Mahomes, Big Ben and Joe Flacco. Yes, Joe Flacco.
    20 plus years of winning more than not. Countless AFC East titles, 13 AFC Championship games, 9 straight AFC Championship games, 9 Super Bowl appearances, 6 World Championships, and soon Belichick will have the all-time wins as an NFL head coach. 2021 was the Patriots last playoff appearance. How long has it been for the Jets or the Raiders? Been forever! So be careful what you wish for Patriot fans when you run the greatest NFL head football coach of all-time out of town on a rail. In my opinion, this great Patriot franchise will never get back to being that dominant. Not even back to back winning seasons are in the cards under this new regime. As a matter of fact, most NFL franchise, including this modern day Chiefs team, won't get close to matching the Belichick/Brady era.
    I understand the move by Kraft and the Boston Media wanting Bill out, but give it two yrs. Mayo will be gone, the Pats will be lucky to get one good season out of this new leadership. Then these same Boston Media critics will then be saying "well under Bill we did it different and it worked more times than not!" Watch! It's coming!

      Bill did a good job for years until he did not. No coach could have won with the team Bill the GM built. Bill the GM got Bill the coach fired. Bill the GM should have been fired for losing Tom Brady, that was F criminal. Worst than letting Babe Ruth go.

    • @seanmulkern8563

      Tom Curran led the charge to get BB out of the building. I really hope when the Pats popularity wanes and the ratings sink due to losing that this boob looses his job. The only reason anybody knows who he is it's because of TB12's 70 % and BB's 30% sucess. Definately not his. I cringe everytime NBC puts him on their national shows. Hopefully in these rebuild years we can get rid of some of these N.E. "insiders"

    • @mtadams2009
      @mtadams2009 Před 5 měsíci

      @@seanmulkern8563 Losing year after year will do that. Bill made a lot of poor decisions, not his coaching necessarily but as a GM. Bill or Kraft or both ran Tom out of town without any plan for the future. Bills drafting on the offensive side of the ball has been terrible. Take a look at his first and second round picks. He should have brought in a seasoned veteran and let Mac ride the pine like they do in GB. The truth is without Bill without Tom his winning percentage has been pretty average over the course of Bill’s career. It’s hard to win if you can’t score. Look who Bill had playing QB this year. Why would you not bring in a seasoned veteran, why would you let two men who have never coached offense coach your second year QB. Bill did some great things and will forever be fondly remembered but he also did some completely messed up things. That offense is a complete mess and that’s on Bill not Mac or Kraft it’s on Bill. The BB fan boys can never call Bill out when he makes mistakes. Do you think this team was headed in a positive direction? It was unwatchable.

    Belichick not playing Butler in the SB against Philly out of spite and malice was the beginning of his end. The arrogance to throw away a SB, thinking oh we can get another one, and being bigger than the game. All downhill from there. Karma is a bitch. Glad he is out of the game. Stay out.

TB12 parachuted into the best situation, #1 Defense plus an Offense with Godwin, Evans, and thanks to Tom, Gronk and AB...Pats werent sniffing anywhere close to the Superbowl
