Joe was great when he was a backup to Hendo. And he didn't do bad as a starter, but the pressure of having it rest on your shoulders is intense. I think it affected his decision making at times. If he could keep that relaxed poise as a #1, he'd be phenomenal. UT fan who watched closely.
If Hendo gets a chance to start for the Lions, Goff will be headed to retirement as Hendo might be the only QB on that roster who could hit Jamison Williams over the shoulder in stride

Joe Milton is an absolute stud. Joe reliably overthrows receivers 70 yards downfield. Joe can run out of bounds short on 4th down. Joe can avoid all hits with that big frame. Best fools gold to ever play the position.

In Friday's practice, Milton threw 3 passes. Thats it. The rest of the reps went to Maye and Brissett. Milton is also practicing against 3rd and 4tg stringers.
Only 2 reporters made this claim about Milton being better to get views. Every other reporter in NE has said the opposite.
