SCP 6198 is an extra-dimensional entity believed to be a god worshipped by 6th-12th century Polabian Slavs, known as Chernobog also known as The Black God. The SCP6198 anomalous effects are currently isolated to the village of Ciemność where the life expectancy of villagers is notably higher than the surrounding area.

I really like this SCP. Chernobog isn't an evil or truly malicious God, it seems like, but he is a very smart one and actually gave the SCP Foundation reason to pause. Bravo to the author.

Btw did you know that „ciemność” - the name of the village - translates to „darkness”? And dr bob actually pronounces it quite well, especially concidering its a quite hard word for non native speakers

"Ciemność" translates to "Darkness" from Polish, which means that there must be a city/village called "Jasność" - translating to "Light". Wonder how that one looks like.
It's so cool to see an SCP from my country :D, very nice Police design, they look exactly like that in Poland, you also pronounce some of the Polish names very well, Dr. Bob. Well done, another amazing video.

Damn, this is a GREAT mystery! I love how it leaves the lingering question of Chenobog's true danger. I mean, yes. He did kill a bunch of people and kidnap some too. But the dude's intelligence has also been limited to that of people living in a small, isolated, village. I agree that there's NO WAY IN HELL he can be allowed to get a hold of The 05 Council, but I'm not certain he's completely evil. Is he evil, or curious and unable to comprehend that we prize individuality over a hivemind? Does anyone he absorbs die and have their knowledge stolen, or live on as part of the hivemind he is?

I'm surprised that they didn't do a truceful talk with Chernobog. It's risky, but it is a way to get more information without having more difficulty.
