Probably why when Metroman "retired," he played the guitar (which he already played as a child as seen in the video) that needs actual skill to impress people with instead of just using his powers which are impressive to humans, but to him, extremely basic and unimpressive to use. He got tired of having powers and just wanted to feel what its like to be human

Yeah. Denzel Crocker has got nothing on that trash teacher. Because remember that he himself became what he is because his life was literally sent down the drain.
You also don't see megamind during his teenage and young adult years either, more than likely, that's when his evil education took place, the writers for the show also wrote the first movie, so its possible that all the stuff introduced during the show would've been in a actual megamind 2 movie if the first one did better in theaters.
"So I like how he crashed in prison so they decided to put him under custody even though thats very expensive." "He also has no records" "Why dont we put him up for adoption or find something..." "no...prison" "How does he get parole and what are his charges?" "he dosent and yes" -Microwave Society
this movie shows a lot of emotion i watched this movie when i was younger and did not understand it but now most the things Megamind went through correlates to what my life is like instead of evil of course, after Metroman fakes his death no purpose, lack of fitting in and just trying to be myself. 11/10 Megamind
2:17 is nobody gonna talk about how megamind as a kid was able to create a whole working tricycle out of license plates? Legit that’s impressive for him at that age
This also seems to be the origin story of Metroman. While he landed in a rich family, the family seems to be extremely unattentive to their super-child. It's possible that every thing Metroman did was because he wanted attention and affirmation he never received, hence him going for the gold stars. This is also probably why he isn't a heroic person as per the events of the movie as heroism was just never what cared about to begin with. I wouldn't say he is a narcissist or a bad person but he is definitely not the selfless hero trope.
I mean, Megamind not only didn't get any attention but he also didn't any of the other perks Metroman had. I think Metroman turned out the way he was because he didn't really need the love of the people to make himself feel better since he was already blessed since childhood.
You know... somehow it only just occurred to me that their names are literally just Metroman and Megamind. I guess in megamind's case it makes sense, but it's kinda funny how there's no clark kent secret identity for metroman to go by.
Why in the holy hell would a prison keep a baby and then treat it like a prisoner? Or let alone let the prisoners take of it? Earth is truly an incapable planet 🤦♂️

except if clark was a bully
You can tell Dreamworks didn't care about making a good sequel the way they didn't even pay attention to literally the opening minutes of this movie.
They could've at least made it interesting and more to the canon story like the doom syndicate was actually the prisoners that were inspired by megamind
That teacher is straigth up the worst teacher in all of fiction
Yeah. Denzel Crocker has got nothing on that trash teacher. Because remember that he himself became what he is because his life was literally sent down the drain.
So if Megamind ends up in the mansion, with his intellect, skill, and wealth, he's basically Iron Man
I didn't see any doom syndicate or any masters that trained megamind
You also don't see megamind during his teenage and young adult years either, more than likely, that's when his evil education took place, the writers for the show also wrote the first movie, so its possible that all the stuff introduced during the show would've been in a actual megamind 2 movie if the first one did better in theaters.
@@ZER0O9PLEASE NO
@@ZER0O9It would have maybe had a chance to be an actual good movie if it was directed by competent people and made with a lot higher budget
"There is no Easter bunny, there is no tooth fairy, and there is no Megamind Sequel."
"So I like how he crashed in prison so they decided to put him under custody even though thats very expensive."
"He also has no records"
"Why dont we put him up for adoption or find something..." "no...prison"
"How does he get parole and what are his charges?"
"he dosent and yes"
-Microwave Society
Megamind is that one movie where we mostly side with the villain a lot.
All the time, he was but a victim of a society that utterly FAILED him.
this movie shows a lot of emotion i watched this movie when i was younger and did not understand it but now most the things Megamind went through correlates to what my life is like instead of evil of course, after Metroman fakes his death no purpose, lack of fitting in and just trying to be myself. 11/10 Megamind
0:27 why megamind's mother look like roxanne??
Oedipus syndrome
2:17 is nobody gonna talk about how megamind as a kid was able to create a whole working tricycle out of license plates? Legit that’s impressive for him at that age
Megamind dehydrated Minion's water bowl
Let me repeat that: Megamind dehydrated Minion's water bowl
Megamind dehydrated WATER
@@lorddervish212quinterosara6 yeah like Metro man said he was too busy thinking about other people and not himself
Damn the end with his name reveal still gives me chills
Wow "origin story" doesnt even include his time at villain school or his mentor... SMH
WhErE iS tHe DoOm SyNdIcAtE ??????
1:57 nothing but the best for you darling💀
Villains are not born, they are made by society.
Yeah, one that’s ran by a bunch of heartless sons of bitches that reek of bad choices
The new movie doesnt make sense, if he spent all his life growing up in a prison, why was he a part of another villain group (the doom syndicate)
Because the people who made the second are retarded
@@user-cf8nq5fh1nthey're the same lol
@@jambon2730not the director though, the original director fixed what the retarded writers made
Cause he wasn’t
You know... somehow it only just occurred to me that their names are literally just Metroman and Megamind. I guess in megamind's case it makes sense, but it's kinda funny how there's no clark kent secret identity for metroman to go by.
For those who don’t know what megaminds parents said, they said he was destined for greatness
Why in the holy hell would a prison keep a baby and then treat it like a prisoner? Or let alone let the prisoners take of it? Earth is truly an incapable planet 🤦♂️
Right? Like okay if the Prisoners kept Megamimd secret for abit than the guards and Warden found out later, that's one thing. But they kept him locked up in Prison basically his whole life! The fact that Megamind didn't turn out way WAY more evil is a blessing if you think about it.
Dude it's just a movie. But I get exactly what your saying. That part doesn't make sense to me. Also he didn't commit any crime as a baby.
Is a riff on batman villian bane backstory
Man, It's just a movie
Some children are deemed criminals since birth because of their skin 🤷🏾♂️ just like real life
I wonder if he has PTSD from the start and just tried to cope with it all the time.
He is well aware what happened to his parents spend his life in prison.
From how awkward he seems to be near people like shown in the end, he may have some traumas
4:24 istg my brain is so rotted with memes that i thought a skull image was gonna appear
I love how a baby lands in prison from another planet and the warden is just like "yeah he deservres to go here"
I'm noticing a distinct lack of The Doom Syndicate and Machiavillian.
They were hiding in the invisible car during all of this /s
Probably cause they never happened
They uhhhhhh forgor the doom syndicate 😂
No, the doom syndicate forgot about this scene
"I was 8 days old and still living with my parents. How sad is that?" 😭lmao
I love how the school is right next to the prison.
“Can we keep it?”
The way he said that was perfect
