Thank you so much for sharing your story I love that you just have a smile on your face I'm supposed to go in the beginning of May to talk to specialist recording what my treatment is going to be more than likely a lumpectomy but I feel as well you know I would like to get to the breast reduction and lift
Thanks so much for sharing your journey. I am having a lumpectomy and lift soon. How are you feeling now?
I'm feeling great! It's still something to experience my smaller chest size but I am happy. Wishing you swift healing on your journey! 💪🏾🎀
Thanks fir sharing in having this on Tuesday x
Thank you for sharing your journey with us going to be seeing the specialist next month to see my options my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago she had a lumpectomy it was caught early no chemo no radiation no nothing and you know like everything I'm a little worried about me I'm big-breasted and I'm wondering if they do a lumpectomy will they automatically do a breast reduction
What hospital did you go to? I was recently diagnosed and looking for an option.
My hospital was in Dallas. Medical City.
Español
I recently got done with my chemo treatments and now preparing to get a lumpectomy and a reduction. I'm torn on if I really want to get the reduction at the same time as the lumpectomy. Don't know if I want to be under that long. How long did it take you to recover from your surgery?
It took roughly 6 weeks to fully recover but the first 2 weeks were probably the most difficult.
I am having this surgery tomorrow.
Wishing you a speedy recovery and successful battle, sis! 💪🏾🎀🙏🏾
@@cancerwithcancer3847 I've two different types off cancer masses in my right breast 3 masses, one is lobular the other is no special type,,third one was picked up on MRI
Don't understand what most off the letters are,,I prey you are good sis
And appreciate all you're updates in this unknown journey
Take care ❤
How long was the lumpectomy?
How are you doing?
Do you continue to have pain 10 months after lumpectomy and breast reduction
I can say that there are some uncomfortable things. Like wearing a wire bra is uncomfortable. And mammograms seems more uncomfortable than before. But nothing alarming. If you are feeling pain that long after, I would encourage you to speak to your doctor.
Do you do radiotherapy before your surgery please.
My surgery was first on my journey. Chemo then radiation will be next.
How are you doing after this surgery did you get lumpsectomy and breast reduction I'm supposed to get this but scared of complications because of my weight
Yes, I got both procedures. I did well, but they had to go back in to remove more breast tissue. I cover that in my "Second Lumpectomy" video.
Did you insurance cover your lift?
Yes! That was a great thing about it.
