It’s funny. People watch a 14-7 NFL game and talk about how exacting it is, but the NFL just makes up points. Really that game was 2-1. It’s all about perception.

As an American we know we SHOULD but only ever get punished for calling it football. Either we need to take a whole minute to clarify that we meant soccer not American Football or they realize we meant proper football and raise an eyebrow that we’re pandering to them not calling it soccer. There’s no winning.
