I found it strange that there is no output animation on the portable smelter
well its probably because it wouldnt fit well in the inventory
I also noticed that when you launch your rocket to orbit, you can use the top of abandoned bases as a landing pad! It even says that it's a landing pad. So when u are looting a planet, you can see and land at these bases for some juicy loot!

Portable smelting furnace gonna be a game changer

If you place 15 on a medium storage silo, you can smelt exactly as fast as a stream of materials comes out of one resource canister and pulls the refined version into a new canister without delays. Makes for some amazingly fast refinement.

Holy cow I found one of those gravity globes in a cave right by my base on a platform! I never even thought to try to get it off of the platform and never would've dreamed it was an actual vehicle!

Congrats on hitting 20K subs! That portable smelter is very game changing. Also game idea, a small storage that has 4 slots, costs 3,000 bytes limit 2 and max as 4 once you complete missions you can place them in backpack and storages with a limit of 2 on a storage and the resource cost is 1 nanocarbon.
It would probably need to be nanocarbon. Titanium is very easy to obtain.

Cool video! Do you have a video on how to automate a farm for the plants? The event takes a while to do manually.
The autoarms are currently bugged and will not place squash in research chambers. So unless you already have a lot of research saved up it will not work well. I'm waiting for a patch to complete it.
I don't have a video because there are quite a few already, but as you can see from the comment above, there's a problem with auto arms currently... Which I know they are working on
@@KuyaGameAstroneer adding to this. There are a variety of farm types as well due to there being three different fuel types. Each fuel type provides 15/35/50 points each. I went with the simplest because it only takes 4 fully loaded fluid/gas canister rockets to complete the event. If you want to farm care packages for qt-rtgs, then I'd suggest the fastest/more complicated one using the atrox flower.

Yeah they can move around freely, i don't know of there's a limit but I caught some getting quite far from the starting point. I think it's randomized.

Astroneer doesn't have any liquid properties or objects, except for hydrazine but we can't swim or walk through it. Would like to see them add it though. 👍
While it would be neat. The devs said in the past no water will be added. Due to the current game mechanics all of the liquid would drain to the core of the planet when given a path. It would be difficult to control even if they did add it.

how about occasional meteorites which would make a crater on the surface of any planet and would drop random resources on impact they would be more common on outer planets like glacio and less common on inner planets like Radia- sorry I mean Atrox

@@KuyaGameAstroneer hmm but i think that the drops should also depend on the planet/moon like for silva the drops should be common things like aluminium and quartz on glacio it should be better like titanite and hemetite and they should not be too often also there should be different sizes bigger would create bigger craters but resources would be more than smaller ones and and a chance of getting better/rarer resources

have you noticed that while Buggy is in the air you can rotate it with WASD? and thus can always land straight. (assuming WASD is what you use to drive it)
Yes, this works with all land vehicles, even rovers 😊
cool! at some point i got tired of having buggy flip because i was holding W and D keys in air, and then I noticed why. It's like devs just apply a force in the specific direction of the pressed key(s) instead of using wheels' friction to make the vehicle move... I wonder how would it feel if they changed it like that.
Haven't watched the video yet but if I have the materials for it I'm letting my pets ride in it

Let me say something that'll change the way to get bytes in the game. You dont go for one research chamber. You gotta go for alot more if you want to get everything unlocked and make sure you have a lot of RTG's because you need them if your gonna have 30 research chambers

I just got astroneer maybe 5 days ago and I have absolutely no clue as to what to do for the event and I really want the pumpkin shelter so any tips on a effective way for a new player to get points would be much appreciated
I went to atrox and gathered some red mutant flowers not the ones that shoot at you but the other red ones. And went back to sylva and looked on my compass for the bio fuel refiners which are "red" icons
Looked for pumpkins and harvest them to gather seeds. Then start planting at your base.
Put one of each in the refiner and boom 50 points. Keep planting amd harvesting until you fill up gas canister or just the exo rocket. And reap the rewards

If you haven't found the Gravity Globe, look on the abandoned spaceport towers, found mine easy since I literally had a tower right near my base but I think I was super lucky.
Where? Glacio. Why? They are very easy to notice just hanging out on top of the spaceport and the white of Glacio makes them Very easy to spot.
Still haven't found the smelter yet.
Also, Hint: Be sure to collect all the mollusks (the little creatures on each planet), what happens when you do is cool. And they are all very helpful but some more than others.

Don't make the holes to big tho bit also not to small if they're to big it will end way to fast and if they're to small it will pretty much never end
