- Note: Very excited about the New Lycanoc from/ evolution that is being speculated about through serebii/ corocoro. I will be making a video about this new Lycanroc for Pokemon Ultra sun and Pokemon ultra moon soon so I wanted to get this longer video out the way. So
What if there was a New Pokemon Region the new pokemon games and Gamefreak asked me how I would make it. what about Team Snooze would they be there too?

Sounds like some myths about California, about 300 years ago, California was thought to be an island, due to mapmakers not being able to map it because of mountains.
A while ago I made a fan region based on the west coast of America. You start around I'd guess southern Idaho, making your way through a forest and battling a gym leader who is a lumberjack, across the Rockies, up into Oregon and battling an Ice-type gym leader, then going into Las Vegas to battle a Psychic-type using cardshark, eventually going to the 8th gym, run by a surfer in Los Angeles.
Eryzo could be the fire type gym leader
I've created a region with its evil team, legendaries, gym leaders and Pokemon league. It's called the Potogo Region, and is based off of Ireland. The lore states that long ago, there was a great famine caused by the fertile land turning cold/dry (depending on version of game). The ancients called upon the Best of the Flame/Seas to heat/water the ground. The Beast (legendary) saved the land of the Ancients' village, but the Ancients became greedy and wanted more land to farm on. The Beast was angered and submerged the Potogo Region in a massive inferno/flood, and then the Beast returned to its dormant state. (Later you learn that the grass-fairy type mythical was responsible for restoring Potogo to its modern beauty. You start the game in Resa Town in the coastal southwest. The professor's main studies are in abilities. Each of the eight cities and the other towns are based off of the largest cities in Ireland. The evil team, Team Quantum, have already succeeded in taking over Northern Ireland/Potogo, and you receive the fossil pokemon on the Giant's Causeway. This Pokemon is based on an ancient bacterial cell, and evolves into either Jelletern or Worglow, based off of the eternal jellyfish and glow worm respectively. The gym leaders are (in order) fire, water, fighting, electric, bug, dark, steel, and psychic. The Pokemon League is located on the Isle of Man only accessible from a water route south of Resa Town. You only get HM Surf after the eighth gym leader. The elite four are poison, ghost, ice, and dragon. The champion has a Walrein, Hitmontop, Cryogonal, Trevenant, Golem, and Mega Swampert. For a while I had a league on Pokemon Showdown for this, but have closed it since. I would love to start it again or work with someone on making a Fakémon game with Pokemon Essentials or another software. Thank you for reading my ideas.
I like the idea of a glow worm Pokemon. Fun fact about the Isle of Man: It's the ancestral home of the manx cat, a cat that, through natural mutation, has little to no tail. Perhaps a manx Pokemon might be a possible encounter for the area's Victory Road (presuming it's on the island).

i have also done this except since I'm from northern ireland i just based mine off of there. I think its a great idea you have and i was just wondering what cities are you going to use, also i like the idea of Irish history you are using with the famine cause it is a massive part of our history. you should also look at the recent history as it could help the story ark but all round sounds like a great idea

Shofu maybe could be the champion. To put him in the story, you see him every once in a while. Helping you defeat team snooze with lower level Pokémon, you see him in his house in glitch city, you see him helping with the construction, stuff like that. He could also mention that he was to be the fire type gym leader, but someone else was chosen so he decided to wreck people to become the champion.
Please make this into a Pokemon game like if you agree or if your to busy make someone use all of these videos to make there own version of a Pokemon game about this

My dream pokemon game is where you are on a boat to the Alola region to meet your family there and live with them but the boat gets twisted under the sea and eventually washed up on a strange new island, where you discover everything. You name the towns, run the businesses, and populate the Pokemon. But soon enough, an evil team tracks your whereabouts and they say they've been looking for this island for YEARS, and they'll let you off of it once you help them find the treasure that is supposedly lurking on this Island.

From his list i chose a. Hoothoot andnwouldve had it specialise in dark paychic moves, but if i couldve. Hosennany pokemon i wouldve made my constime look like a banette, and, well use ghost types

The region can be named Torimamouru its a way to say protect the birds in Japanese. Also maybe in at this region there could be performances and performers. And at Marrilland it could be many cute Pokémon to catch like Eevee, Happiniy, Litleo, Shinx, Vulpix, and also Aloaln forms can live here as well, they could be here because since its an island they adapted as as well. I would like to live in this region after all!!

Hoshi - for stars, based on the shooting stars and the CZcams stars can be called them in honor for modern connections. Plus, it would help with Jirachi and Cresselia connecting.

Shigure - Drizzle, also resembling the fall of stars and can also be a modern represent digital rain for the CZcams/Internet connection
Maybe just Hoshi, region names tend to be short.

And there's an Elite Four that can be fought after obtaining eight gym badges. But the eighth gym was in a previously hidden city that only just revealed itself. So how did previous challengers make it to the Elite Four?
For the fire gym leader I recommend Munching Orange. While his logo isn't a fire type, his avatar is dressed on in red and orange, and in many of his playthroughs (including one of the earliest) he uses a charmander nicknamed Fuego (fire in Spanish).
Perhaps on the north of the mountain could be a previously existing people, such as Sinnoh. That would make this a prequel to main series.
Guy Flies The island predates Internet and is still unexplored.
If there’s anything beyond the mountains they’d be natives stuck in the 16th century at best.
Use google Earth to have a look. 16th century had roads and buildings. Even ancient native people built huts. Having the internet/youtube conflicts with having a mysterious land.
Make King Nappy the 8th gym leader and make his gengar an ice regional variant which you can find in a new ghost town found high in the mountains.
My Pokemon region.
My Pokemon region would take place not too far off from the orange islands. Where Lawrence III (theCollector from Pokemon 2000) has built a region and filled it with nothing but the best or at least in his eyes are the best, the best Pokemon, the best gym leaders trainers. He even scoured the world adapting ideas from different regions. Also in doing so, he made an offer to some of the gym leaders or trial captains from each region he visited and offered them to help create and build this new region.
After completing each gym you also get a gym badge and Z Crystal.
Now onto gameplay the game open ups with the question Are you a boy or a girl?
Then what's your name?
After choosing all this you begin your journey.
You start in your house in the unova region and your mom comes into your room and says "that she got a job working for professor maple and you are moving to the orange islands" flash to mistralton city where your mom is talking to your cousin Skyla and she informs you the orange islands, the place you are headed to is a new rebuilt region, not much is know except for the people are all very happy and sometimes too happy. You board the plane and Land on the island, your mom tells you to go visit professor maple while she and your cousin Skyla unloads the truck.
You go and visit professor maple and she apologizes that she uprooted you from your home in Unova and to make it up to you she would like to give you a Pokémon and offer you the chance to start your own Pokémon journey, something you were about to do in Unova region. Your options
Grass - Bulbasaur
Fire - Torchic
Water - Froakie
You Pick yours and Prof.Maples Son or Daughter walks in and picks theirs. They pick the type advantage. Prof. Maple tells you that you can start your journey and points you in the direction of your first gym, she tells you Lord Lawrence III has spent years studying and building the toughest gym challenges and warns you that you won't have an easy time, but reminds you to have fun, and then she sends you on your way.
Before heading into the grass Professor maple runs after you and hands the Battle Bond Z braclet, and a battle Bond Stone and tells you to attach the stone to a Pokémon that can mega evolve and use it to help the Pokémon reach its next level
Making your way through the region you will ofc face your 8 gym leaders

Whitney - Normal
After beating Whitney you will run into Lawrence's grunts, when they approach they say"we've watched your battle with Whitney you're really strong" heal up your team and Challenge you to a battle, after beating them they say "wow you are strong" and report back to the boss
You continue on your journey
Mallow - Grass
After beating mallow your "rival" challenges you to a battle.
You beat your rival and he/she scurries off, skyla approaches you after that battle and tells you. That this Island used to be watched over by the three legendary birds, command by Lugia and after Lawrence came to town they all vanished. She explains that even though the birds are gone the Island nature seems to still be in balance so the birds couldn't have gone too far, and acknowledges how weird and happy the people are
You continue your journey

After beating these 3 gym leaders, a voice calls out to you but no one appears all you hear is "help... help the birds" and it fades back to town.
You move onto the last gym and the hardest, Tate and Liza have full team of 6, it's a double battle and both of them use Megas
Tate and Liza - Psychic
Once beating the gyms you will receive your last gym badge and usually around this point you would have already battle your evil team and caught your legendary but nope. You have seen the collectors grunts around and battled them, but not much talk has been going on about them. But anyway Tate and Liza say congratulations on winning their badge and suggest you fly home. you head home to visit your mom and rest and relax but word has gotten out about how strong you have become and the Collector has taken notice. He is holding a competition best 16 trainers from his region will compete and the winner will have the chance to take him on and win the gold cup. So of course you go and enter and you find some interesting people have entered with you.

You battle your way through this rigorous competition and Lawrence declares you are strong and you make your way to him. You notice his "prized possessions" surrounding him Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, as well he had Mew and Mewtwo standing on each side of him, And you learn peace isn't kept in the city because of anything else other than the fact that he uses the psychic power of both mew and mewtwo to brainwash the natives of the Island and with the birds he uses them to keep the balance of the island. He also speaks of how a young trainer once killed his dream and stopped him, but he persevered and caught the legendary birds and trapped Lucia. But you're different you remind him of the trainer that beat long ago. He try's using mew and mewtwos combined power to brainwash you and make you his right hand man, but it doesn't work. He's scared, he runs But he drops his map. And you notice it leads a top victory road.
He waits there for you after noticing he dropped his map, he knew you would come. And offers you one last chance to join him or be challenged by his top 4 strongest trainers, you decline and he says "fine Beat my Elite 4 and I will battle you" And he warns you "It's gonna be tough" and walks into the building
Inside you find 5 doors 1 straight ahead 2 to your left and 2 to your right

After beating them and their crazy team you face Lawrence and he has
Articuno Zapdos Moltres Mew(Z) Mewtwo(M) Yveltal
After beating him Lugia appears to you and with his power he restores the balance to the world returning the birds to their natural resting places and offers to watch over the region as long as you stand by his side. Lugia then joins your party, but not before a quick battle to make sure you are right to be his trainer. You catch Lugia, become the champion of the region and rule side by side.
The credits role and when you wake up in your house Professor maple arrives at your house to thank you for all you done and tells you to hurry to the Eliet 4 dome when you get there you notice it's empty, all eliet 4 members are replaced by tapu guardian stones. And a letter in the throne room, Telling you all about how the Tapus have guarded alola for a long time but now choose to stand here and help guard the orange islands. They promise to only let those worthy to battle you in the throne room, and ask that if you ever are need of battle to come looking for them.
After beating the game the tournament opens up to all trainers who want to battle and that is where you will battle every past gym leader, elite 4 member, Lawrence, and past champions.
You can also go and catch the 3 legendary birds, dogs, Regis, and the tapus.
Dude this is a cool idea someone should make a fan game based off this region seriously. I like how you put lots of thought into this region idea.
I feel like most grunts of team snooze are like the members of the Dollars from Durarara

and i really recommden you draw your pokemon to it's really fun! making your pokemon you can even make your own manga series or your ROM hacks and even create new features

So I have one problem: the post game.
I understand that it was a long video but I have a few ideas.
First: special event Pokémon.
2 I have in mind are the creation trio by letting the professor give them a sinnho book and go to the well where you fall down into a tunnel that takes you to the Sinjo ruins, where you are teleported to spear pillar where you catch palkia, and dialga. Then the distortion world opens where you see giritina emerge that you can catch.
Second: the weather trio. You go to hudllom city where scraggy gives you a bunch of gems: one red, blue, and green. Then you go to the sea near the Maril lands where you find a sport that sucks you into the sea. There you can find kyogre. Next you will gain access to a mountain, where you catch groundon. Finally, glitch tower has a mysterious force on top of it. There you find rayquaza.
That’s it.

Based on the options provided, I'd go with Torterra, Vikavolt, Pidgeot, Chandelure, Lapras, and Tyranitar. Each of them is a Pokemon that I like and they give me great type coverage, with each being dual-typed with no repeats.
Backup team is Musharna, Donphan, Heracross, Toxapex, Rotom, and Scizor. Not as good type coverage, but can be temporarily swapped with some members of my main team to cover some holes in type coverage. The only types not included in my main team or backup team are Dragon and Fairy.
I'm waiting for the fan game.

I did a region the other day based off the US. Not unova but like the rest of the US. Unova is just based off the New York New Jersey area. In my region you go to unova in the post game since they’re attached. The last form of the starters are grass/steel and is an armadillo, the fire starter (going with the Chinese zodiac theme) is a rattle snake and the final form is fire/poison, and the water type is a sea turtle and is water/rock as the last form. The last gym is Bug type too. You start in the Texas area abd the gym order goes: ground (a rancher) rock (a desert explorer), normal (two leaders brother and sister in the LA area who are very wealthy), grass (a hippie dude in the pine forests of Washington state), flying (a windmill worker in the plains), steel (a factory worker in the rust belt), you stop in the Rockies for awhile but no gym, then 7th is dark (a voodoo witch doctor in New Orleans), and 8th is bug (an entomologist studying bugs in Florida).

In a Region that was split into two for over 1000 years because both halfs have a secret that no one can find and if anyone were to realise them the same that happened 1000 years ago will happen again. After that YOU [player name] wake up in your room. You go down stairs to see you Mom talking to your Dad (i aint gonna put all the dialogue) your dad sees you who btw is the professor named Professor Ruka he came to give you your first pokemon, the pokemon you may ask QUIGAKA the grass starter ASHGA the fire starter WILIVA the water starter when you chose someone who is a friend of your father comes in with his kid [rival name] who came to get his pokemon too the pokemon he chooses [type advantage] you and him have a battle if he loses he'll say this "How could i lose to a novice like you i am practically a master" if you were to lose "Ha i knew im a true master, a novice like like you could never beat someone like me" after you head to route one a man known as Youngster Joey teaches you how to catch a pokemon after that when you head to Glieva Town you find a man with a hat, a very familiar hat he asks you "Have you just started your journey? Really that was me almost 15 years ago haha. Oh youre looking for the gym you say well youre in luck i so happen to be the gym leader." Its at that moment when you recognize hes from your favorite website "The next pokemon dreams" he iis gym leader, normal type expert, Numa. But he has some unfortunate news "i cant be at the gym for a while because i unfortunately lost my pokemon to an evil team named Team Disaster." Then out of no where [rival name] comes and says "heh well looks like you need the help of the amazing [rival name] am i right Numa?" When Numa answers with a simpal yes and where he wants you and the rival to be when yall get there you meet the first of many grunts to Team Disaster who when you beat as the hero returns Numas pokemon (teddiersa and eevee) then you can battle him (btw this is more like the anime where you can just battle him) once you beat him you know what happens now you can head off to the next gym but just right before you enter Wuka City [rival name] walks up to you and challenges you after you win you can go battle Aquea she has a team of these two (pampor and cercict and i dont remember how to spell names XD) after you beat her you know this stuff ill just skip through time for now coming to Thrudon City you go to the electric master in terms of pokemon gyms Lught (team ITS PICKACHU and Rotom) after you get his badge you go up against Fir the fire expert of Fluma Town (Charmilion and RK9 XD) after you beat him you find a general of Team Disaster ??? she has these weird stones on both her arms her team (Gangar Chandulor a new type of pokemon named the Vampire type named V-tous with Unown) but when she sends out her Chandulor he uses these stones to fuse Gangar and Shandulor into GANGDOR (type poison fire) if you can beat her she'll explane what Team Disasters form of a way of new evolution called "Fusion Evolution" because you beat her she gives you your own fusion stones then, dissappears? But how could she? You have to find out, but after you head through the Forest of the Dead you come across a town named Dead Town with no gym, no people from what you see, only a big tower covering the way into the town, but because youre very cerius about whats inside you go into the tower to find that Team Disaster has taken it over the tower and the town after you get up to thw tower with your new found power, Team Disasters admins are in a line to protect their leader first up Team Disaster Admin ??? who turns out to be a girl named Ghana with the same team as last time but without Unown, but with something that looks like a pokemon you know but yet it isnt, could it be A NEW STAGE OF EVOLUTION!? well yes it is thats the evolution of a Taros called Bulos after you beat her, Team Disaster Admin Lieno (Chandelure Banette Dusknoir and a vampire pokemon V-nape with his fusion of Chandelure and Dusknoir named CHANDOIR) apon beating him you find yourself up against Team Disaster Admin Yūrei (Decidueye Drapion Toxapex and his vampire pokemon well its very simple V-gar with his fusion being DECIAPEX) finally after him you find yourself against the elite admin named Team Disaster Elite Admin Luka (Cofagrigus alolan Marowak Serviper and V-nator fusion of Cofagriper) once he dies you find yourself against the leader of Team Disaster named TEAM DISASTER CAPTION AKU (Snorlax Staraptor Tyrantrum Aggron V-goro)

I think some of the ideas could be interesting, but it's hard to navigate through this entire paragraph of a run-on sentence. You have to keep in mind presentation instead of just vomiting your ideas into a comment. I also have a few other qualms. You make a point of indicating that the region is split in two, yet give no background as to why this is relevant. Which part of the region is the starting town on, and why is it there? Also, given that you are creating new Pokemon for this region of yours, it's hard to tell if some of the Pokemon are misspellings of preexisting Pokemon or your own creations. The most prominent being "Lantume", which I can't tell the meaning of. Is it supposed to be Lanturn, or a Pokemon of your own advantage? At this point, for all I know, you could be misspelling the names of Pokemon you yourself created. I don't have the mental fortitude to analyze this any further. If you want constructive criticism that will actually help you, start by making your ideas actually comprehensible.

Call your region the Seizon-sha region since that's what survivor means in Japanese. Survivor because of the survivors in the beginning of the story and the Japanese language because most Pokemon regions are speculated to be inspired by places in Japan.

Maybe something like a mystical island where only ghost type pokemon live. You get to the ghost island by a portal or like a shady boat. You start at a little town with like a ghost tower kind of building. The story will eventually about defeating evil bosses that trap certain Pokemon that can't move to the afterlife

I actually did create my own pokemon region called the Malro Region. It's evil team is Team Mercury and they have a steel-type gym. Insted of the elite four its actually the elite six and the champion is named Lance. I added armored pokemon as the special feature, and if it was a game it would be called Thunder and Lightning. Your rival is named Deavan and the region is modern american based. The starters are Pandoreaf,Pemper, and Warmit, which turn into Pandorfan,Expolfin,and Crablade. The legendaries are name Thundorsarous,and Lighnteloppe, with an evil legendary named Starkromsin, and a mythical being named Oceeannah.

I've thought a lot about it, and I'd actually have this for an idea.
The regions are based on parts of Mexico and Texas. Depending on which game you get determines which region you start out in. The professor is professor pecan. I only thought of the fire and grass starters so far. The fire starter is a fire/rock type which in the final stage resembles a native american with a bow at the end of their arm. The grass type is a grass/dark type that resembles an outlaw. The legendaries are a chupacabra looking creature and a large armadillo looking thing. If you choose the game that starts in Mexico then your journey will end in texas and thus your legendary is the armadillo. And vice versa. The evil team is actually the resurrected Cipher from orre (which is based out of arizona). They have hidden members throughout society that aren't always obvious. In fact, your friendly rival from the beginning joins them and becomes a very strong trainer. The elite four and the champion are often on TV and out in public to give them a more famous look. The other part I would add is that you have two parties of 6 that you can switch back and forth between battles. I added this feature because there are always so many pokemon that I love and I just want more for each play through. Then, as you face the champion, you find out that your rival and the leader of cipher have defeated him together. They then challenge you, and you double battle them using both of your teams of 6 against each of their teams of 6. I feel like this would add a lot of difficulty, and would allow the "easy leveling" we've seen in the last few generations. That's all I got so far, but I've been thinking on it a while.
Also, gym leaders and elite four members dont use one type of pokemon. I feel like no good trainer would actually stick to one type, and thus they would not be gym leaders. Each one would have a strategy but use whatever pokemon fit in to that strategy.
