[First Platformer Level!] Maethrillian ~ Destriv (Me) [Showcase & Speedrun]

I haven't really played many platformer games, except Ori, which was pretty much just for getting screenshots to use as references if I wanted to do another nature level. Creating this was a bit daunting at first, since I had no idea what I wanted the level to look like or how it progresses. I'd say that was the most difficult part of building this because my ideas typically come as I build. I decided to go with a city/building theme with a gloomy atmosphere. Being my first platformer, I felt like going ahead and making an Easy Demon difficulty platformer level, simply because I wasn't too sure how to create ones that are less difficult at the time I was creating the layout for this. It was pretty fun to build, and it was a good introduction to many triggers that I hadn't used before to this extent. I'm not sure how often I'll create platformer levels, but maybe when I get more used to the process they'll become a common occurence.
I managed to speedrun this level in 1:03.291 which probably could be improved upon since I did bump into some things along the way. I will say the triple fireball launcher at 2:09 will be the biggest roadblock for people who want to speedrun this. The reason is that those are semi-random. They're each on a spawn trigger with a random range offset of like half a second or so, therefore each time they fire it's at a random interval and order. I decided to do this to cater to the Easy Demon difficulty, and me enjoying slight randomness with things like that more than a uniform sequence. It would be pretty cool to see if it's possible to get sub 1 minute time.

bro, have you something on my device, I have lag and the jetpack part gets very difficult (using a translator)
imo in the ship section you should vary the color choice and design choice for some of the spikes, because it starts to look repetitive, especially when they stick out that much from the blocks and when they are in big clusters like you have in the level.

how do people straight fly with the jetpack?? I've been stuck at the 2:13 section because simply holding for less than a tenth of a second sends me 10 blocks high
