That would make sense I bought a brand new bike not even a year ago $ I’ve taken my bike to lots of places and barely riden it and in less then a year it says it has over 140 hours which I thought was insane I should have definitely invested in something like this
When you put the wire into the meter do you have to wire cut the end because I cannot see any metal on the meter? I’m working on it right now please if you see this can you please let me know. Thank you I appreciate your video.
True. No wire to wire connection at all. The wire wrapped around the plug wire uses electrical induction to sense the plug firing and that is all that is needed. Wrap the wire 5-10 wraps and make sure it doesn't come loose. Done deal.

No need to cut or connect the wires. It detects the pulse through the wire.
