Thank you for these videos! I am 7 days out from bladder sling, rectocele and cystocele repair, and it was great to hear about your journey. Made me feel a bit less crazy about my emotions, pain, good days and all the rest! ❤️

Katiebuttons78 How are you feeling now? Did the surgery help you? I’m having it done in 2 weeks and I’m absolutely terrified 😢

I just had the identical surgery for the identical things six weeks ago. I had to wait two and a half years for the surgery and it was living hell I was lying around in bed every time I stood up it was uncomfortable I was depressed I was frustrated... And I was in pain. Now 6 weeks later everything's working again it's amazing. I feel so very very fortunate 💖

exactly isnt it crazy that we have to fight SO HARD for the surgery and prove we need it. You never realise having kids can leave you damaged from such a young age and its not how you need to live life. I am so glad you are enjoying life now. Come follow me on insta to learn more on how i do after surgery if you want: instagram.com/thewickfrees

I'm dying over here. Thank you so much for these videos. I cannot find anywhere else that talks about this stuff in a real way! And I feel the surgeon did his job and now I'm left to figure out the rest on my own. It's so frustrating!

you should be rested 4/5 days to allow surgery to start healing in place...were you given mesh- they rush you oout hence why it goes so wrong xx hugs

I'm recovering from bladder repair and rectocele. Thank you so much for these. I watched these before my surgery. I'm a week into my recovery....I have 14 staples outside from bladder repair and about a dozen desolving stitches from my rectocele surgery.....

Why do people say the surgery can't fix the prolapse?
You give me some hope...All the best!

Because they are ignorant. I had 3 prolapses all addressed with surgery. I am post surgery end of week 4 and doing great.

They want to save money from ops or dont know the reality. I dont approve of mesh at all but true surgical repairs can work if you follow all the advice!

Thank you so much. I have found your videos and watched them all. They are so informative.
I had my surgery 6 days ago. I'm still in a bit of pain, and can't stand for long periods of time. I also have a fantastic husband and beautiful kids that are doing everything for me ATM to help in my recovery.
The most painful thing about my surgery is going to the toilet for poos!!! Although it is getting better, I still cringe when I have to go.
But I am feeling better than I was before surgery. I had constant bladder infections and constipation and really couldn't function normally.
Can wait to fully recover and get my life back.🙂

Yes if I over do it. Have to not lift, do pilates, eat well and make sure not to get constipated etc. I am working hard to make sure I make 20 years post op before another tuck job :-)
