How did u do that lightning effect glow i just cant get it right
To add the glow, you draw a shape of an effect (using a normal brush). Make sure this shape's color is nice and saturated and against a decently dark background so the color can pop. Next, use the krita outer glow style to add an outer glow. I recommend changing the color to a saturated color like in the video. I also recommend playing with the size and distance and also changing the BLEND MODE to Linear Dodge. I also added another shape that was just a random splash of black just because :) let me know if you're still confused, sorry for the late response.
For the actual lightning on the final illustration. I looked up lightning references and then I made similar shapes painted with a brush in white. Then I added a layer on top of this with linear dodge and used a textured brush and soft brush to paint a saturated color on top of the white lightning bolts.
Krita is saying that layer style have not been implemented yet but you can use layer style. Why is that happening what version do you have?
I'm using 5.0.6 You might want to update if you have an older version.
