    The D was smudged! The song is called Silence Kid.

      I’d be curious to hear where you got that from and whatever the case, you’re being a little pedantic considering the band.
      On the original cassette and CD (I had both) the song is listed as “Silent Kid” and “Silence Kit” respectively. There’s no “smudge”
      Also, on the cassette version “Elevate Me Later” is referred to as “Ell Ess Two.” According to Spiral, someone in the band thought it sounded early on like a “sequel” to Loretta’s Scars. (LS)
