Mason McGinness has always been good at two things: selling himself, and finding ways to cheat people into buying when they shouldn’t. One day, his brazen swindling catches up with him and he finds himself fired from his job and kicked to the curb by his ex-girlfriend. Mason finds a small realty company that needs someone to sell a piece of property that is considered “unsellable”. The catch? It is the infamous Scarlett Clay house -- a haunted house where anyone who inhabits it ends up dead. Now, with the help of a quirky psychic, Mason must find his humanity to get his life back... or die trying.

This trailer is proof that music can make all of the difference. It comes across as a comedy, but if that music was sinister, it would have had a whole new vibe.
yes manipulating your viewing experience with music/scores is like doing it with jump scares, cheap and ubiquitous
often they are queues for what is about to happen and I don't get that either
also to put the theory to the test, next you watch a film of someone going down a creepy hallway with the usual intense music score, mute it and the tension disappears instantly

This movie wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! Acting was good, a few jump scares, and a few comedy plots.. decent over all 🍿

Reminds me of an idea i had about a homeless person who lives in an abandoned house that's haunted; so many interesting ways to approach that story.
You should write it, I would definitely love to see or read something like that.
A person is "homeless", but "lives" in a home, which is also "abandoned" with someone living in it. Yeah, It's not a good pitch.
@@LRBeforeTheInternet Homeless people have lived in abandoned buildings and houses throughout history; I've seen plenty of abandoned houses, overgrown by vines and shrubs, around and people living in them without permission; nobody checks up on the abandoned property anyway. The idea of having a ghost haunt one of them isn't that strange an idea.

@@CaptainAmerica2001 Thanks. In my youth, I was viewing such movies with group of friends in a fillm club. There used to be weeks on the so called Delicatessen Movies, political movies and of course B-Movies from the glorious times of the 50s. Eventually the productions of quality movies, in term of overall production became common place and today you have mostly bad directors, very bad scenarios but overall good actors and relativelly good special effects.
Just finished watching the movie.....The end is most hilarious! Good for a lazy evening watch, with no overpowering cg, audio or colors.6.5/10

Just saw it and it's not bad for a low budget ghost movie. This is more a comedy though and it's a good lazy watch without thinking too hard.

I like a funny horror with a realtor selling a haunted house! I'm sold! I lived in an old Victorian house that had evil spirits. As a child, I witnessed things and exposed to evil I should have never seen. 😶🫥🫨

I think this has been done before but it wasn’t a comedy, I think it was called House that aired in the mid 1980s.
House was totally different. It was probly much better than this one will be.

Finish Watching it. I enjoyed all the way and I honestly rate it 7.5 out of 10. Fun and entertaining😊 havent seen any good horror ghost movie in awhile. It has Similar vibe with that film with Nicholas Cage in a haunted room (I forgot the title) but in a funny way

I'm drawn to quirky. This looks fun. Something I haven't seen done a million times before. I can tell you the plot of most TV drama shows less than 5 minutes in. Give me new and different.

This looks really low budget and I don't recognize a single actor in it and then I saw above that it is direct to streaming and on demand. And the trailer isn't exactly exciting or very funny considering it is supposedly a horror comedy.
Low budget and unknown actors is how you know a movie is going to be good.

Wasted potentially great horror story on poor movie execution. Its so poor that im actually mad how wasted the idea is with cringe music, scenes and dull/bland environment. If i watched it in theatre i would get out after 15 mins or so.
