Yea, I think everyone here males some good points. I guess the main thing is paying attention to that ref as well when you notice a change in the other fighter because you might be needing to let off the gas soon.

to not confuse people, he hurt it doing the worm after a different fight, not this one.

Yes that's the coolest K.O in UFC history and it's not even close, it was like a Street Fighter move, or something you would expect to only see in a movie, not in a real fight.
The match around the 3 minute mark is kind of infamous. The guy getting hit in the gut and grabbing at it was actually hit right on the liver. It's a notorious hit, because it floods your body with everything that the liver has been filtering out. It's incredibly painful. The other guy recognized it and lowered his guard to try and get the knockout only to be KO'd himself. For the first guy to take a liver shot and fire back hard enough to get the KO is pretty spectacular.

This reminds me of a video i saw about one of the Rocky movies. Where Rocky asked to get punched as hard as the tall guy could and ended up hospitalized from a bruised heart from what i remember. In the video they mentioned it is a type of injury you see from a car crash where you are hitting your sternum into the steering wheel, not from a punch.
It's cap that his punch is the equivalent of getting hit by a car traveling at that speed. If you're taking Dana White's word for it at face value, you're even dumber than he is.

We don't really know, but the black guy who knocked him out (Gary Goodridge), he himself has been knocked out a lot of times and, while CTE can only be diagnosed in an autopsy, it is clear that's what he has for all the times he got hit in the head. So the irony here being, the guy who won is the one known for having brain damage.
