Rather than just complain, I should add my own facts. The ghosts in Pacman were never intended to be ghosts and are known in the original Japanese version as monsters. The US state of Maine is closer to Africa than Florida is. In parts the Congo River is over 720 feet deep. The world's second largest maker of cymbals is founded by the brother of the man who founded the largest (after the brother was not made CEO of the original company, they clashed). The song "Maniac", heard in the 80s film Flashdance, originally had the lyrics "he'll kill your cat and nail it to the floor". Until the 7th century AD, Latin and Greek were usually written without spaces between words in a continuous line. The vermillion border is the name for the line separating the lip from the surrounding skin. In 1998 baseballer Sammy Sosa held the single season home run record for 43 minutes. In 2003, skater Lucinda Ruh almost doubled a previous record by doing 115 continuous spins on one foot. The steam whistle was introduced to US trains by a man, appropriately called George Washington Whistler. He isn't as famous as his wife who is depicted in the painting known as Whistler's Mother. Australian singer Amethyst Amelia Kelly renamed herself after her dog and the street her mother lived on, becoming Iggy Azalea. "Jazz" is generally regarded as the hardest four letter word to get in a game of Hangman. Despite only being 24 sq miles, San Marino won three medals at the 2020 Olympics. On Christmas Day 2021, the bank Santander accidentally deposited money into the accounts of 750,000 UK customers totalling £130 million (178 million USD).

Many things rhyme with silver (sliver, shiver, liver, quiver, etc). Technically speaking a rhyme is when the final stressed vowel and all following sounds are identical in two words; however, we can be more pedantic that this. Perfect Rhyme, which can be described by the location of the stressed vowel (single, double, dactylic); and General Rhyme, of which there are nearly a dozen varieties, namely: syllabic, imperfect, near, semi, and forced. Under the definition of "perfect rhyme" the "fact" that silver has no rhyme is technically true, along with words such as orange, purple, month, ninth, pint, wolf, opus, dangerous, marathon, and discombobulate. But, under the definition(s) of "general rhyme" all of those aforementioned words can find their rhymes.
    I would hate to discombobulate
But I've heard this fact of rhyme many a time
I could type a marathon, and a ton
    'til I'm purple and hirple
cry wolf or bluff, if you must
but 'tis dangerous to disregard my opus
while I'm rhyming orange with range in my grange, my dog doesn't have mange
my plinth wasn't built in a month
now the ninth, cutting like a scythe
at last have a pint, I'll take mine with mint.

Cows don't sleep standing up. Where'd you get these "facts"

    • @arcade_wizard
      @arcade_wizard  Před 2 lety

      From National Geographic:
“Most large land herbivores can doze off on their feet, but only experience deep-or REM-sleep lying down.”
      From a dairy website:
“While cows can doze off and sleep lightly on their feet, when it comes to REM sleep, they lie down just like the rest of us.”
Not deep sleep, but sleep nonetheless. My fact stays

@@arcade_wizard yeah, Google is great, but first-hand experience is better. I grew up on a ranch. Cows sleep lying down, and one will keep watch over the herd. It's also noteworthy that cow tipping (tipping a sleeping cow, that's standing) is also a myth. The only true way to tip a cow, is to push one onto it's side so it's legs are no longer underneath it.

It was a lot of fun making it! I wish my mic wasn’t broken at the time; ended up speaking into laptop itself.
The issue with this sort of content os that it takes a long time to make. This took over 20 hours: the repeated sentences to get the tone correct, finding the gifs, cutting everything out, stretching the gifs to the right point, and adding music.
Would I want to do it again? Yes! I don’t have much time atm though unfortunately.
