Hey man my p.c. was runnin well slow , ages to load anything up & basically bein a pain in my ass , did every thing you suggested & wow back to the way it was , also i had a programme that i uninstalled which it said it had but they were still messaging me & gettin pop ups , since i did all you said it's gone haven't seen it since sooooooo txs again man 👍👍👏👏👏👏

It seems my pc slowed down when I renew my virus protection program but declined their other offers.

I am a 77-years-old grandmother overly attached to her formerly good but aging computer. A computer which, annoyingly, had become very slow and, scarily, was aggressed several times a day by the ugly blue screen. The blue screen always mentioned problems with memory. "Not knowing which saint to turn to," as my mother would have said, I consulted Google and Google took me straight to your website!! Since you speak a little fast for my old brain to register unknown facts, I listened to your instructions several times while taking notes. Then I did everything you said to do, restarted the computer and -- to my astonishment -- the computer seems as fast as it was in its prime. I won't go so far as to burn a candle to St. Google but I thank you very, very much for for sharing your knowledge and skills with the uninformed.

Found this video on google search, and became a follower right now! Just did this right now. Easy step by step literally sped up after the 2nd step. Had a ridiculous amount of crap starting up with the pc! AWESOME POST.

I wasn't young when I got my first PC.Toshina T-100 dual 51/4' floppies and ran by CP/M. No DOS and programs cost a fortune and were easy to make unusable. You made it easy to understand without a lot of BS and I appreciate it.
Thank you so much! Have been putting up with this SLOW computer for a year now. I'm 71yrs old, and has always been hesitant to address this slow computer. It's still running the full scan, but I feel confident, that it will be much faster when I restart.

Thank you so much. I've managed to resolve all the issues. Now I know that Widows 10 makes changes against your will. Seven months ago I disabled cortina but now it was running in the background slowing everything down with a few other programs.

Such a great video! For a couple of months I've been ignoring my computer starting to slow down apart from the occasional deletion of some old files. Tonight however, I decided to try and speed it up. After following your steps I truly gained 10-15 FPS in some games, and even up to 30 FPS in Minecraft, took less than 20 minutes of my time!

My computer was super slow. Really bad, took several minutes to load a single program. Followed your steps and it’s running great. I think the problem was overload of temp files.

Thank you so so so much. My son (11)'s computer was so slow. When we emptied the recycle bin there were 16,501 items. When we emptied both temp files 66,689 items were deleted. So exciting that we can do it ourselves. (Homeschool Mom) Thanks again

I had a very old dell laptop and the pc got colder and colder while doing these steps! Thanks a lot. (It was very slow and the idle temp was 62 degrees now its 45 degrees celcious in room temperature!)

Simple and clear instructions which were easy to follow, so long as your computer isn't a brick it will help a ton.
The laptop I was trying to speed up didn't have a search bar as shown. Through another video I was able to find that I have to right click on the windows icon to bring it up. That allowed me to continue on to the startup menu where I found a multitude of programs and all but 10 are listed as disabled. I don't know which should be running and which shouldn't. It seems to be the same with the services. I'm probably better off taking it to someone who knows what they're doing.
I had to come back 3 months later to drop a comment. This is the only method that worked for me. Lol, and i have to run it again as my PC is lagging again 😆

All of this video is good and nice advice, except please don't use any 3rd party antivirus software i beg you guys. Windows defender is enough and has a similar or even better detection rate than every single 3rd party fotware nowadays. other than that, good video

HOLY COW. After I deleted 2,500+ files/folders from both temp folders, my computer now runs like it's brand new. And whats even crazier is the fps for one of my favorite games Void Crew jumped from 35 fps to 70-80 fps! I never knew the temp folder could affect the performance of my computer that much. Thanks for the advice!

Thank you so much! My PC is running so much faster since I disabled 2 programs from the start up routine. I will run these programs when I need to. I also changed my setting for checking for Windows updates.
