that side might sit a touch lower. the old leaf spring pack was 5 lower springs, the block and the 2 over load springs. new pack was 4 lower springs the block and 2 over load springs. i've been a mechanic for 23 years and have changed a lot of springs.
Like they say: *FIT LIKE GLOVE* !!! Great progress and SOO organized on this build. Shows how much the parts you keep are actually worth put them on this truck or another vehicle. Don't throw nothing out! And so nice *FIRST DAY OF SPRING was 19 MARCH* = YES and thank you for this video!
HEY SMV!! Great work! You are so funny. I’ll never critique your work…I appreciate your videos!! You are a very hard worker!! Those Double shot scenes are Cool! Keep them coming! Cheeky Pookie!!?? 😂😂👍👍
I want to see someone buy a new 2024 Ford E Series cutaway then find a 2014 Ford van with front end damage and/or a totally trashed drivetrain. Remove the body, saw the cab part off, graft the body onto the new 2024. Why? Because Ford stopped making full vans in 2014. They only made cutaways, cab and chassis (with a rear wall just aft of the front seats), and stripped chassis for ambulances, box trucks, RVs and other specialty vehicles. Since then they quit making the cab and chassis version so if someone wants a new E Series flatbed they'll have to fabricate their own cab back wall. Having a new 15 passenger E Series van with fully outfitted interior would be a fun thing. Nevermind the chassis design dates to 1975.
looking great! Is it me or does it look like the body line on the bed is a little lower? At the 9:15 mark. Ah, it could be that bracket that you need to weld on.

The pile of scrap metal you started with is almost a forgotten memory as the new truck enters the finishing straight. Well done.

Could be he didn't have the box bolted down yet because remember he was moving it to put the bumper in.
