It's a weird reversal. The raptor went to a twin turbo 6 cylinder and then offered a V8 again. Trx starts with a V8 and then goes to a 6 cylinder twin turbo engine. Funny how that worked out. 😂

@@bfula9900it’s a combination of both, dodge isn’t doing so hot financially from an R&D perspective. I’m sure they could have made a next gen clean V8 like ford has done with the gen 4 coyotes which themselves are hitting a brick wall when it comes too emissions. But flat out dodge doesn’t have the kinda coin to do that, even the CEO said as much a few years back, they had enough money to do the new electric charger, the new inline 6 and not much else. It’s not a bad thing but you can tell they’re not super

You’re clueless the TRX was $4k more before their “final edition” bs. I paid $83k for a $96420 custom order.

Fuel economy while not towing something… the minute you hook up something over 3500# your fuel economy in a turbo straight 6 will drop below that of a V8 NA engine.

Awesome truck! As much as I like the big V-8 engines, I really like a good inline 6. And this one coming factory putting out 540hp with 521 lb-ft of torque is awesome!

@@calvinh.8882 that was literally just so people didn’t think this was over priced. They bumped it from like 78 in 2023 to that with absolutely no difference so people would say the RHO is a good deal.

Should have made the 840hp Demon engine an option. That's fine if you wanna use the 3.0 I6 but it will never replace the king. 6.2 supercharged is the king.

You know what the best thing Ram could do. Make a true Ram Classic and bring back the Gen 2 body with a Hurricane engine and the Gen 5/ 5.5 interior. That would sell really well. The Gen 2 Ram is what changed the whole truck industry. I would definitely buy one of those.

Who is the engine manufacturer? What is the engine code? Do you have any experience with the engine? Has it been extensively tested? In Europe, many 3-liter diesel V6s and I6s have problems with stability, regardless of whether they are BMW, VW, Mercedes, Ford or Stellantis. The engines are no longer tested and the customer has the problem after only a short period of time.
This is in fact exactly what all men do when coordinating a meetup.
If you guys invested the budget for this video into carbon credits you could have kept the v8 😂

@@RamTrucks I’m experiencing the leaking back glass on my 2022 with 16k miles as are many other people. This issue is so common to the point there should have been a recall done. There is no fix as dealerships just install the same faulty window and the problem comes back again. We’re spending $50k+ on these trucks just to have these dumb issues. It’s very embarrassing.

How is this a lack of respect towards the TRX? They knew it wouldn’t be worthy of the TRX name and so they gave it a new name. They were very respectful to the TRX
The media tells us that this younger generation can't afford to buy a home or high-end vehicles. If this is true, then you're trying to sell to the wrong demographic. Myself and every other Gen X I know wants their truck to sound like a truck. This might backfire on you Stellantis. I've bought the RAM brand for the last 20 years and I'm not too good to move on to another brand. Isn't Chevy / GMC working on a whole new line of small V8s? 😏

@@kkcom01 starting price on the TRX was originally supposed to be 78k. Than they marked them up like crazy, and the last call editions were trough the roof. But let’s not forget buddy until they are sitting on lots we don’t know what dealers are going to charge. APRs are up so that may slows sales keeping them closer to MSRP. We will see
