Andy saw Dennis as his best friend. He gave Dennis the money when he was leaving with Sharon and told him to keep it. This was genuine concern for a friend here. A very rare scene we see from Andy.
Oh absolutely, Dennis and Andy were one of my favourite characters, I miss them both, imagine the Mitchell brothers, Dennis, Andy, Den and Johnny Allen on the square at the same time.
@@fingerscrossed2453 Andy would've been exactly the same even if Dennis was going out with a stranger. Coz he couldn't have his happy ending due to unrequited love and Dennis isn't in that situation but Dennis STILL isn't in a relationship. That's why Andy helps him and tries to remove every obstacle out of Dennis's way like money and the baby to see him have what he couldn't. When it came to making Kat miserable it was only her and Alfie he wanted to ruin n make miserable like with the sex tape. He didn't care about any other aspect of her life. If he wanted to mess with Zoe (or even Charlie) he could've easily and never did.

"Well I like Pat but I ain't planning on settling down with her !!"
Andy was great
I doubt the feeling was mutual 😂
Andy was encouraging Dennis to do what he wants to do, which is what we all should be doing.
Two absolute legends. EastEnders is lacking characters like these two nowadays, especially Dennis.

@@gh0510 Agreed. For all Andy's faults - He did have a genuine friendship with Dennis and Pat.
I like the dynamic between these 2
"There's always choices, some people just walk away from the tough ones" I like that line a lot
“You’ll end up like the rest of the cattle out there, a little man with big regrets”
That was a good line too.
0:53 “Obligations…”
1:20 he did in the end
