as a mechanic you should know that you never tighten one by one. You just have to do it crosswise. especially if there is a seal inside.
Thanks for this great video. With this I was able to diagnose my own recharging problems and save hundreds of dollars. I replaced my own stator and found out some coils were burnt, causing some starting problems always because the battery is not getting recharged. All problems solved after these. Thank you.
Great!
Show ain't lying
I hope you guys are around forever I'd be lost without you. 👍
No cap good video helpful
Looks like a not bad job to tackle. Thanks for your content

Greetings from Brazil!
Hello! Thanks for watching!
Love the vid.
Thx bro!!!!!
I got the same bike im having this issu:
The battery a month old but it aint charging anymore ..i got the stator checked at the mechanic he advised to replace the stator as battery displays 10.5 V instead of 12...He said to me i should replace the regulator as well( which is expensive)
Do you think i really need to???
Id say the bike should be fine with the new stator only...i need your advice please in case he wants me to over spend money
Since there was a recall for the stator years ago for 2004-05 CBR1000RR , do we place it with the same part or an upgraded Stator?
Is this the same for a Honda CBR 250r 2012? If so then what tools would I need to replace the Stator.
I buy a new stator for my Cbr1000rr 2004 from electrosport but the external diameter is 3 millimeter smaller than the old one can I install it?
i just replaced the stator on my 01 Honda F4i and didn't think to use silicone on the rubber grommet, worst oil leak ever... hopefully that solves the problem...
Great video!
One question - what about with Oil before remove stator? I should Drain the Oil?
No need, you will have a little oil in the stator area, but not enough to worry about.
I lost so little I didn’t need to add any after the job.
How much torque for a cbr600f4i? And what was the sealant you used on the rubber peace?
Specs are by bolt size, so they are the same. Crankcase sealant was used in the video.
Hey Partzilla....
What brand tire are you running on your bike???
That's a personal question. Depends on your riding style and what you need out of the performance.
Do you drain the oil
What's the torque for the stator blots
the stator coil is providing charging as well as ignition power for this bike am i right? so this bike does not have a piggyback alternator like my bandit is using am i right?
Yes, it has wiring for the stator output and ignition timing signal.
Will this cause no spark
any tips on what to do about leaks. I have an F4i and after 2 attempts i still get oil leaks.
i had the same problem on my 03 r1 just use a thin coat of Hondabond and put it on the gasket both sides it wont leak after that
"That blue paper gasket is made to go on without sealant. You shouldn't need any.
The oil leak though may be from the clutch slave pushrod seal. After a while the clutch fluid eats that seal and you end up with a Jell-O-ish gunk that used to be the seal. When I replaced my stator, I replaced that seal too. If you get a new seal ($6 a few years ago), should may be all set.
if you take the side cover back off soon, the gasket won't have sealed and you can re-use it."
Should there be any oil in side the cover?
Yes, there will be a little residual oil in the cover.
How do you keep the gasket in place?
Set it on, the dowel pins should hold it.
can yall do a rebuild video of the 954rr?
We'll add it to the list. That bike may be hard to get a hold of, but we'll try!
Partzilla He'll I got a motor I need rebuilt lol
Hey a 2:30min tu installes une patte d’étanchéités ??
The oil?
Great videos but if you go thru all the work why wouldn’t someone put a new cover on?
If it's not damaged, there's no need for a new cover.
Partzilla I’m not talking about the inside. The outside you can clearly see it’s been laid down. I’m just saying if that was my bike and I needed to replace the stator and it had been laid down I would have fixed both while you had cover off. Thanks for the videos
What's the stator model number
