I run a dozen companies and have done several loans. The Judge did not seem to use the same values that everyone in Business including "the Banks that confirmed the values". If Trump is guilty as they say then so is the Bank that issued the loan. I Think if Trump looses the appeal he should be able to sue the feds aka the bank for their error in evaluation to give the loan in the first place. great to know the tax payer is paying NY to take this to court so the tax payer can pay all the fees in the end.. Such an assessment of New York AG Letitia James is so wide of the mark as to be laughable.
The words 'Principled' and 'Ethical' fall at the first fence...........and Judge Engoron is clearly a Bozo, and a party hack. Something he has demonstrated to us by his lack of any objective jurisprudence skills.
Whilst the Lame Stream / Legacy Media crow at this decision they have clearly mised the fact that James has previously set up prejudice against Trump by her many prouncements made when she was running for office, and since she was elected.
As a consequence of this we should expect this decision to be overturned on appeal........or ultimately by SCOTUS.
This will result in New York having to meet tremendous costs, and that's even without taking into account what the case has cost New York already.
New York Taxpayers should steal themselves for the inevitable tax rise coming down the pike as a consequence of this case being brought. They will be able to thank their AG for this.
By any objective standards this whole case has been a farago centred on envy and political animus towards Trump for him having the temerity to win the 2016 election, and on the fact that he is on course to win again in November 2024.
The stupidity of the Democrat Party Machine and the now, (thanks to Obama), a corrupted DOJ, really is amazing to behold. Their every action in going after Trump in the courts sees him growing stronger by the day. Rather than recognise that their strategy has put them in a hole, and that they should stop digging, the Democrats seem intent on throwing more shovels into the hole..
The Democrats have also failed to spot what the majority of Americans can clearly see; namely the unfairness of going after Trump in the way that they have, in order to defeat him. The fact that Biden and the Democrats think this a winning strategy tels us a lot about them.
The Democrat controlled Inner City Feifdoms and States have much to answer for......where the crime and poverty indices of 40 plus years of single party control has left them hollowed out.
American voters may, or may not, like Trump...........and they may, or may not, vote for him.............BUT..........they want to have the ability to make their choice at the Ballot Box, and not have the decision taken for them by a Political Party Machine, or the DOJ.
At this rate, it won't be necessary to count the votes cast for Trump in November.
