@@NETIERRAS His thought process for puff is that hbox gets a lot of lot of time to adjust to the neutral on FD vs Yoshi while he still loses like 80-20. So he decides to go falco, even if he loses his yoshi will be better on the other stages. He explained his tought process in one of his videos, pretty interesting.

So Hbox just randomly witnessed a pure fucking lifetime Yoshi fan and main who never touches secondaries switch to a character that people avoid using (e.g. Mang0) or have switched OFF of against him. And in an important tournament set.
His reaction makes total sense to me.

To be fair, aMSa always struggled against Hbox's Jigglypuff. Falco is a good secondary for it.

Hell, the best Falco in the world won't go Falco against Hbox's Puff because it's a losing MU. Instead he uses Dr. Mario 🤣🤣

That's the point in picking secondaries. aMSa's Falco wasn't that bad, its got potential and besides that I think in the end aMSa got the dub maybe because of that switch.
@@darryltorres7302 It's very possible that it worked as a mind game of some kind and threw Hubgrybox off. I'm not mad about aMSa having a secondary, I just don't think Falco is good against Puff and particularly HBox. Fox or Marth would probably be a better secondary for the MU's he's struggling with.

Axe's fox has done pretty good against hbox considering it's also pretty new, if amsa sticks with it, it'll take a bit, but with a player of his calibur and insane work ethic, he can make the bird shine (no pun intended)

@notdiewo I mean it's literally the first time he's ever busted it our in tournament. Zain's ICs looked pretty mid if you listen to the IC discord. It's hard to just switch to a secondary you've never used in tournament, in top 8 of a Super Major.

Well. Now that he's won arguably one of the craziest Majors of all time with Yoshi just to prove he could, there's no reason NOT to try messing with secondaries to make future tournament climbs a bit less stressful. You either get easier matchups or an "I wasn't on my main" excuse, so it's win-win either way.

Like fox is a bad matchuo, but amsa also regularly takes games and sets from the ebst foxes in the world. Im not sure if it is worthit to pickup the secondary and risk cooling down the yoshi so late in brakket. I think solo yoshi can pull it off. People said he would flal off early in his career as people learn the matchup and the wxact opposite has happened.
