Unfortunately, placing the speakers like this in a regular helmet allows them to get overpowered by the engine noise on an ATV or dirtbike. What works better is to have fully enclosed ear cups with either a leather or vinyl surface to create a seal against the skin. This is the only way I could eliminate enough noise to make the radio chatter understandable.

Why would the connector go on the left side? Isn't it more likely that the radio will be on the right side? So for cord distance and the cord getting in the way, shouldn't it be on the right?

Throttle on the right. PTT on the left. Cables left, helmet connection left side. Get off the quad/bike in the left and disconnect. Easy mode. It's nice being able to talk while never coming off the throttle if you're good enough.

thats exactly how rugged and pci do it in the field at races. you want to be able to reuse the helmet kit when, A) your helmet expires. B) when you crash and have to replace your helmet.

Yeah the 30 dollar mount is the way to go.

RM has earned enough profit that they could cut a helmet in half for installation demo purposes. It would make this actually helpful.

I would think you would rather have a realistic install video to see what you will actually have to do.

This is a rip off at $100 bucks, id pay 29 maybe $35 max. Just another case of dirt bikers being ripped off. At this price my blue parrot headset out preforms the quality of these headphones and the price is the same, yet mine has 10x the engineering put in to make the headsets.

Paid $200 and they can't even give you a mount for your mic... Kinda mind blowing.👁👄👁

@@jacobramos1769 The connector is 30 bucks. Just add it with the order. It's way better than adhesive. It failed on the second ride in dusty conditions.
