I have sympathy for people who struggle with dysphoria and not feeling fully a part of the sex/gender they were born into... That's not close to true. Trans people are criticized heavily by other trans people and are held to a higher standard, because wider society falsely views trans people as a monolith. Crimes committed by a trans person are always viewed as intrinsic to being trans, i.e. they offended because they're trans. Which is clearly bullshit. Wider society does not see a cisgendered/straight person and blame their crimes on their straightness or their cisness. Society/media does that every single time with trans people.

Not all trans activism is like that and not every activists believes this way. I feel some people use activism to justify unfounded and irrational actions that otherwise would not be tolerated, not even from them. Is the exception of the rule that makes an entire term being categorized and stereotyped, but I gotta say, these are not the norm, but the exception. People justifying absolutely messed up behavior are clearly not okay and is not okay to hide behind the activist umbrella. What Artemis did is simply not okay.

Some people are trans, some people are simply cosplaying as women…..The shelter I used to work for had a total of 4 trans women in the time I worked there. One was thrown out for repeatedly masturbating openly and sleeping naked and uncovered in shared rooms with women, one was thrown out for physically threatening other women. One caused no issues and one actually chose to be housed with men so that other women wouldn’t feel uncomfortable. I don’t doubt that some people are truly born in the wrong body, but catering to them at the expense of biological women is absolutely misogynistic. If you are born either male (XY) or female (XX), you're born in the right body. If your mind and body don't "align", the problem is your mind, not your body. Lot easier to change your mind to conform with the body than it is to change your body to conform with the mind. That's why psychological intervention is necessary. Many confused people medically transition, then discover that their problems weren't solved, and they're still unhappy, and now they'll never fully get back what they used to have.

Now, we are asked to literally pull our pants down in a restroom that we are expected to share with men. I brought this up to a speaker at a law conference during her presentation on coed restrooms in the workplace. She said I was literally the first woman to ever bring this up. I had a similar situation happen to me, but at a sober house. It was only meant for biological women. Men and women are very vulnerable in the beginning of their sobriety journey. We are starting completely fresh, mentally and physically, and are very unstable and fragile.
There was a person who was biologically male but was presenting as female strictly through makeup and fashion. They were frequently pleasuring themselves in a shared bedroom with other women.
So... Not sure if they were really trangender and were just naive and new in the transition.... OR they were completely fucking around and trying to get close to women and make us uncomfortable.
Either way, they were behaving in inappropriate ways and should not have been allowed to continue to make so many of us uncomfortable in our own home in such an intimate setting.

There have been lawsuits in Canada over waxing salons refusing to serve pre-op trans women because the estheticians have religious beliefs that restrict that kind of intimate interaction with a man or male genitals-- it's giving 'bend the knee' in some cases, to demand a service solely out of spite, to force the provider to go against their convictions.

If they express an interest in you you’d move onto the next round until only a few options remain, and then you’d pick one to join. As a transgender woman, I think it is terrible that there aren't more allies for women to have safe spaces and be comfortable.0. If you're transgender, you should learn to be comfortable being transgender without stomping on the rights of women. Tolerance and Civility is the standard to strive for... not Totalitarianism and Terrorism (Foreign or domestic).
*Edit: I am glad I can share my own personal perspective that may be something we can agree on, regarding the need to support and respect the rights of women and to ensure they have safe spaces. To clarify, I view an individual as such, and with this particular case, I do not view it as a transgender rights issue because the alleged behavior of Artemis is oppressive and discriminate to women. I don't think being transgender automatically makes someone a predator but I do not think gender identity, race, sex or religion should be an excuse for predatory behavior or impede on accountability and strip rights and freedoms of others. There needs to be rational conversations about these topics, sports and other arenas included without labeling people as bigoted. That being said, it doesn't mean I don't view rude language towards me just because of how I identify as not bigoted. I have been transgender for the majority of my life before the whole pronoun debate. I stated 'Transgender woman' because especially in this time, between Artemis and Demi Lovato, people may not know if I identify as a watermelon and personnally, I care more about safety than pronouns. Also, because most of my friends who have kids identify me with female pronouns because objectively speaking I look like a female, we (including me) find it best that we don't confuse them by referring to me as transgender or 'he/him' pronouns because its just not necessary. I am not a pronoun warrior but I think people who would prefer I not adopt she/her pronouns when I never brought the topic of pronouns up, need to consider that I don't personally care about people misgendering me but I do prefer to respect parents who may not want to be having conversations with their children about why a bigot is calling their 'aunty' a man when they have never known me as such because I have never presented as such with or without makeup. I hope I am making sense.

Well, a lot of people have to say "my biological or " so if tedium is the only problem, that's not much ground to stand on.
There are plenty of very valid reasons to complain about various aspects of the "trans movement" and/or the people involved, but the tedium of adding the word "biological" is kind of a non-starter, IMO. And it sure beats the hell out of having to call everyone just "male" or "female" with no way to distinguish which ones are real and which ones aren't.

Yeah, it's fairly grotesque. The people that instigate these ideological policies are never the ones that have to deal with the outcome. A classic example are the illegal immigrants pouring in over the southern border in the US. Everyone on the left demanded that the 'moral' thing to do is to let them in, no questions asked, however as soon as 500 entered Chicago and 60 entered Martha's Vineyard, Martha's Vineyard said they simply do not have the room then it became a problem, Martha's Vineyard said they simply do not have the room, Chicago protests stated that the migrants went to the front of the welfare line. El Paso is receiving up to 1000 per day, 300,000 per year roughly, but that is perfectly acceptable and the people of El Paso who are tired of it are simply called Trump loving racists. I'm always wary of people who state they are empathetic, actions are more important, and simply saying 'I care about others' for people to listen is a selfish act trying to gain acknowledgement of their claimed moral superiority. These elites belting on about climate change and telling us to stop eating meat but fly everywhere in private jets, own private yachts that can burn 40000 gallons of diesel in a day, politicians building an image around empathy yet are worth tens to hundreds of millions of dollars from a $200k a year job and can lie so effortlessly it's their true skill. The world and especially the media and elites is simply a façade and the reason why no policies ever make sense (even like the one in the video) is that before being jaded, we feel the policy makers goal is the betterment of the citizens and their lives, once it clicks and you realise their goal is actually self betterment and the betterment of their cronies, the policies they make suddenly make a whole lot more sense.

Because Artemis is a creep and *knows* his behavior is frightening to women who couldn’t fight him off if they tried. It’s the same reason a lot of men feel comfortable verbally harassing women, or why bullies target smaller, weaker people. They do it because there’s no “danger” to them since they have a physical advantage. Artemis is huge and uses that to his advantage in a house filled with much smaller women he can physically dominate. He knows he’s unwanted, he knows he’s a creep. But the school let him so now he feels extra emboldened to act however he chooses since they more or less gave him the green light to do so.

It's one thing for a biological male to identify as a woman, it's something entirely different to become an interloper and cause stress to innocent people. Another concern is that the term woman has been redefined by a political movement and not by science. I think we all really love that he isn't biased. This one I'm not too sure about though, because there is a component to this that actually has NOTHING to do with: Politics nor Science. There is a third layer. It can simply be defined as........ Humanity, Individualism, Identity, etc whatever you want to call it. There is another human layer to this that we are missing.
The truth is, there is a point in which nothing can determine what we are. Not science, not other peoples' perspectives, nothing except the person having the unique experience. When we disregard that, I believe we violate a human right. Now, granted, at the end of the day we all live on a floating rock in space and none of these things actually "exist". But while I am here, I choose to respect everybody's identity. I honestly don't think that politics or science need be involved. I don't think any of those things matter. We are here so temporarily. "Anti-science" meh, who cares. It's not a conspiracy. We all just need to acknowledge that there is a difference between "Sex" and "Gender" -- and we need to start choosing to respect Gender as much as Sex. And for what reason?:
Better quality of life. The entire idea of living is to enjoy life and try not to make other peoples' lives miserable everywhere you go. And basic respect. That's really it. People will be a lot happier once we can all get off our high horses.

Your assessment is superbly accurate in all aspects, even the legal nuance of the argument of gender versus misbehaviour. The militant attitude and science ignorance and intellectually lazy aspect of violating the boundaries of logic is such a toxic combination in abuse, bullying and power and control situations that it literally astonishes me how ignorant the law is CONSTANTLY about this.

I love that Dr. Grande is based about this topic. It's disgusting that "trans rights" means biological women now have zero rights or protections. It's a license for creeps and degenerates to abuse women now. Enough is enough. I don't care if someone wants to live as a woman, but it doesn't give them the right to supersede women in everything, invade their spaces, sports, bodies, and children. Biological sex still has meaning in the real world, and that isn't "transphobic".
