It's just a matter of time before someone does it, once the price of electric motors comes down. Wrecked Teslas should start hitting junkyards soon lol... I think it's a good idea to build an electric rock crawler. I have seen some people in the past build hydraulic drive rock crawlers... But electric motors would be better, the only problem I foresee is mating transfer cases to electric motors, but anything can be done :)
