you mod for viral slash on noctua and then proceed to helminth off not one, but two great damage buffs, the owl and mini sidearm book to armor strip (that slash ingores anyway)? My owls give me around 200% status vulnerablility and damage and pageflight shoots for 50% of the modded damage (more status, slash procs) for everyone in your party. I mean i get it tharros strike is effective, but you are hampering half his kit for it. The only thing you can subsume is his book (while very good) that can be replaced by any good incarnon, without the energy cost. Put roar on it and watch everything die, it ramps up the damage multible times. Use grimoire if you want some buffs and his 4 to really, really kill some stuff...
I do have a build with his 1 subbed out, but i put it in mainly for an all-around strip. Slash doesn't cut through shields, though. The only real reason why I do like the ability. Now, if the damage can overcome the shields, then yeah, i agree. It's just another build.
@@Villainous_V i was beeing a bit of an ass, i mean you build for the book, the book does bonkers danage to stripped enemies. I tried to like it but the 334 combo is just so damn satisvying. the book is e great plasmor like weapon though an totally worth keeping, just dont see the need personally to forma it further to get really good you know, could just slap on a furis and the birds make it sing, 100s of heatprocs in mere seconds:)
@peddypeoples941 no worries my guy. I love discussing about the game, and I do hate that I have to choose the book to swap out or keep only 1 buff and lose 3. I'm always on the side of build for what makes you happy. Stay Villainous my guy
@@Villainous_V Will do man:) i love his book too, but blowing stuff up with his 4 was even better for me. This is such a good frame, love dante, when they nerfed him i lost my shit till i realized he is still fucking bonkers:)
