I finally did it. I got my first WRX today and remember watching this video when I was in high school when it first came out. It was my dream car through my whole childhood and am so happy to finally have one. It’s white and and I plan on getting the iconic gold wheels for it soon.

@@demizamp3539 it depends on what gas you put in the car. I put premium gas in my car And yea it does tend to be a gas guzzler. But In my opinion it is worth the experience. Just be smart with your money and you will do just fine.

Hands down, my 05 sti is the best car I've ever owned bought it back 2010, daily drove it for 10 years 0 problems, after 10 years the turbo failed trashing the original motor, sat in my garage for two years all while fighting off family and friends telling me to sell my dream, F that!! I held on and now it's got an iag closed deck fully built beast of a motor. Never let go.

The Subie wave is a real thing I didn't know about when I bought my 2011 STI sedan. I got it, used, low miles, still stock, 4 years from new and with a lot of curb rash. First day driving it home from work. Some dude in an evo eye wrx pulls up next to me at a stoplight and waved at me...I though it was weird but I waved back. Then I noticed I was being waved at by other wrx's, fozzys and other modded Subies. I thought it was the coolest thing ever so I began to wave or flash my highbeams at other subies...such an awesome feeling, I still have my first Subaru. A Stinkeye STI Sedan and absolutely love it and the community. Edit: I do have a Colin McRae sticker on my passenger side dash because I need to represent a Subaru Rally legend! Oh and before they took the modified evo eye to the isle of man they took an almost stock, besides roll cage and harness 2011 WRX STI Sedan to the isle of man but it bottomed out at 120+mph with an absolute expert save by Mark Higgins, they decided the next time they'd run it there, they would beef up the suspension so that doesn't happen again.

For years the WRX was my affordable dream car. I came close many times but finally made it happen last September when I got a 2018 WRX. It lives up to every bit of hype that had been built up in my head for the past 20 years.
Mine currently has around 300whp and making its way to high power. My buddy drives a 500+ Camaro SS and he was blown away on how well this car eats turns. It’s like a little go cart
I love the wrx because it’s race car that you can drive safely and confidently in the snow and commute to work with if you wanted. It’s the prefect balance between fun and practicality
Americas Most all I know is I like the cars coming out of post WWII Japan more than the us. Pretty much the only American car stuff I’m proud of rn is the c8 being so cheap and the hellcat engine. Other than those 2 things I’m on board with the Japanese and Koreans.
I'm on my 4th turbo subaru at only 26 years old. I had a 2005 lgt, then a bugeye wagon with a full STi swap, then a 2018 WRX amd now a 2020 WRX. I cant get enough of them. With proper care, these cars preform excellently and last a LONG time. The only reason I'm on my 4th is because I apparently am a magnet for bad drivers that like to smash into me on the road.
Did I miss the part where you say that it has kind of unique engine on a principle of horisontaly oposed pistons which cancels pison/engine vibrations and the whole ride is even sweeter, because it has lower center of gravity which adds limited body roll ?
