My father fought in Vietnam, worked on the railroad until retirement, and took a few college classes late in life and he is one of the smartest people I know. These kids are clueless. A degree means nothing.

Palestine didn't exist for the 19 years when it was Occupied by Egypt and Jordan.
Arabs (of the British Palestine region) rejected the name "Palestinians" until 1964, because it was an insult, because everyone knew that "Palestine" the Roman province meant Judea and Judeans, which meant Jews, so the Arabs said the name "Palestine" was "Zionist propaganda".
League of Nations' British Mandate Palestine comprised not only the area you see now. Palestine included the entire area of modern Kingdom of Jordan, which was created by the British for Arab-Muslims of Palestine. British created this first-ever Palestine state in 1921. That took THREE FOURTHS of the total area of British Palestine, for only-Muslims of Palestine and some Arab Christians. Jordanians are Palestinians and vice-versa (except the rulers of Jordan who are from Mecca).
The remaining ONE FOURTH of British Palestine _could_ have been for Jews-only but Brits decided to divide it again. Next, the British did NOT give half to Jews. Jews established their functioning country by 1939, then formally declared their State of Israel to exist in 1948, after the British left and went home. Thing is, ARABS STILL LIVE INSIDE ISRAEL as full 100% Israeli citizens. That makes these Arabs de facto Zionists if they live in Israel and work there and run businesses there and go to college there and get free health care there, and obey the Govt. Some Arabs serve in the IDF.
So ARABS are welcome to live in Israel under a democracy but JEWS are forbidden to live in Gaza under a Sharia dictatorship.
Jews used to live in Gaza in the past. They lived in Gaza in biblical times. They got partially kicked out by Muslims and Crusaders and others but some stayed.
I just learned, Jews were forcibly removed from Gaza and taken to Jerusalem in 1929. Why did the British remove all the Jews from Gaza? Because Arab mobs attacked their defenseless neighbors and massacred 135 Jews, including those naive Jews who believed they could trust their Arab neighbors. That was a security nightmare for the British govt so they decided that quickly removing the Jews from their homes would solve the problem by appeasing the Arab mobs.
That didn't appease them.
The Arabs attacked other Jewish villages in the region in 1929 (and before, when the Jewish refugees were even weaker and fewer), then launched the Arab Revolt in 1936 that was 3 years of rioting and massacres.
Some Jews moved back to their ancestral villages in Gaza, but PM Ariel Sharon removed all the Jews again in 2005, because Jews STILL needed an army in their neighborhood to protect them from the Arab mobs, same as in 1929.
THE NARRATIVE of Israel and Palestine that is most popular begins AFTER 1938, when Jews finally gained enough power after decades of dying to be able to fight off Arab mob attacks AND retaliate and punish the attackers by hitting them first. THAT is the story they like to tell, of innocent Arab victims after 1938 and after 1948 when they lost the Arab War on Israel. It's a Marxist strategy to be THE Victim and THE Resistance. That sounds better than admitting they were vile racists who massacred Jews with near-impunity for decades or centuries.
P.S. Egypt DIDN'T WANT Gaza anymore after 1967, so the problem was dumped on Israel. They called it "a bone stuck in our throat". They couldn't turn it over to the Govt of Gaza because no Govt of Gaza existed, and all factions refused to sign any form of peace treaty since 1951, so Jews had nobody to turn it over to. Every time they tried make a solid final settlement to give it back to a functioning Govt, their offers were rejected with violent uprisings.

I spent 7 years in university and have earned a bachelor and master degree. Some of the dumbest people I have ever met were in university. Having a degree does not make you smarter.
I once worked with a man for 2 years before finding out he had a PhD. I asked him why he didn't let people know (the way most PhD's do), and he said because he didn't like the stereotype.... and that having a PhD didn't make him any smarter but simply that he went to school longer and spent more on it. I've never forgotten that!

The vidoes about the tunnels rise a lot of questions. Why the hell they never film how they enter the tunnel? I've watched a few - on one the when the drone enters it spins very fast and you can't be sure it wasn't edited even on 0.25 speed. On the other one the woman approaches the tunnel - next scene she's already inside the tunnel.
Also the 3D model presented by IDF is nuts, it shows a huge tunnel system with many rooms and many levels - it's like a multi-floor building bigger than the hospital itself. Of course they never showed anything like that on the video.

I have 4 degrees including a Master’s, and you are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Degrees don’t equal intelligence. Up until somewhere in the early ‘90s colleges/universities actually taught critical thinking, how to properly vent sources, how to use logic & reason. Today they are taught to the test, they are ill equipped to work in the real world. This is especially true in the racist and corrupt field of social work (note: I finished my Masters in Social Work clinical/micro practice in 2022 and most of my cohort where as cognitively challenged as these student).

One go-to argument against israel is the gaza blockade by Israel. Israel left gaza in 2005, the blockade began in 2007 after Hamas murdered their political rivals and took over sovereignty of gaza.
Moreover, there is also a Gaza border with Egypt at Rafah. Israel obviously can't organise that so called "blockade" there.
I assume you know that Gaza has another exit from the Egyptian side and it is completely blocked!!! But yes Isreal is to blame
@@normlieberman372 Egypt also blocked them for security reasons. The Gaza Strip was under Egyptian military rule from 1949 to 1956 and again from 1957 to 1967. From the beginning, the area's chief economic and social problem was the presence of large numbers of Palestinian Arab refugees living in extreme poverty in squalid camps.Yet apparently its still Israels fault.
The "blockade" isn't stopping food or other products to Gaza. It is to block weapons from reaching hamas.
My comments keep getting removed. You tube don't like the truth. Just seen a report of Hamas getting rich from selling the food aid. Also there's a video of them attacking civilians from a UN aid compound.

Islam certainly took a lot from Judaism and Christianity, but it definitely was not born in or near Jerusalem. Maybe it would have been saner if it wasn't born among the wild tribes of the Arabian desert.
I love when people bring up formal education as an argument. A year ago my mother had her 4th heart attack and ended up in the ICU with 15% of her heart working. The cardiologist to us he could keep her alive but she would have a bunch of tubes sticking out of her and be hooked up to machines for what life she had left. They ended up taking her off all meds, stuck her in a room to die. Through prayer, family and the will to live she was out of that hospital in 2 weeks back home. No machines, not tubes. That was a person with formal education, specializing in the heart and he screwed up. How many people has this formally educated person killed over the years?
Meanwhile, how many has he been able to save? The cardiologist told you what he believed to be the case, apparently he was wrong. Imagine him saying "she will probably be ok, we won't treat her further" and being wrong. Prayer had nothing to do with the outcome. Formal education doesn't cover everything but it's a far better foundation to stand on than prayers, espe ially if you're a doctor trying to save lives.
PLEASE have her read Stephen Sinatra's book about heart disease. I am not against medical procedures but look into his "awesome foursome" nutrients for strengthening the heart, relaxing and widening arteries. Magnesium, CoQ10, DiRibose, L-Carnitine.
