This student is a great example of someone who has zero experience being on the receiving end of racism, encouraging a person like Ted Cruz (who has probably experienced a lot of racism) to reflect on his statements. And then she denied she accused him of being racist. I really hope people like this watch themselves and come to the realization that their wokeness is actually dismantling years of progress on the issues of all manners of identity and equality. I’m from a so called visible minority and have been given every opportunity to succeed because I was taught work ethic, importance of education, respecting all people, and knowing when to keep my mouth shut when in the company of people who had more life experience.
