My buddy has one. Not impressed. Neither is he. Summit however is awesome.
I've seen exactly one person throw it - Alex Cavagnaro. He makes it look good, but he can probably make a beach ball look good
I have this ball. And during league I'm standing on about 41 and throwing it up about 23 and it booms back. I'm a 2 hander with about 470 revs tho
I had to buy this ball, as in I was bowling a 2-ball league where I had to buy/throw the Harsh and Peak. I did NOT like the Summit at all, so I wasn't looking forward to throwing this ball. I took it down to 3000 and it's my go-to transition ball/2nd best ball per stats in Lane Talk.
seems like i'm a bit of an outlier here, but this was my first SPI ball (won it in a raffle) and i really like it. Rolls really well for me, have put up some big games with it and just generally a ball i like the shape of and trust out of my hand.
Eh, that will happen with every ball. I've had a few that I loved that nobody else liked too. No matter how "bad" a ball is, it'll still be the best ball some people ever had.

Reminds me a bit of the Super Nova, if the Super Nova were shiny and sym. A bit too forward to be versatile, and better options in its niche.
By the way, one recommendation I can make for these vids, is to specifically mention what you'd suggest folks use instead, if a ball gets a low rating. Great nonetheless, definitely helps to know this one's not worth worrying about.
Yeah, super Nova wasn't great either. That's a great suggestion too about a recommendation if a ball gets a lower rating. I did say that I use a shiny summit instead I think, but I wasn't very obvious about it and didn't really point anyone else that direction. I'll definitely add that to future ones, thanks!!

I shot my first 3 with the og summit, but this wasn't similar enough to the og to really have a 1-2 punch for me. It missed the same breakpoint quite a bit. Redid the surface and it just didn't react the same. So yea.... it felt like a completely different ball like the og venom shock pearl was to the og venom shock where they were just 2 completely different balls.

What's the difference between the xcell vs hater? I have an x1 and those two look very similar to that. I have thrown the xcell at a demo but my friend just got a hater and wanted to get your opinion before stealing it😂
XCell had quite a but lower RG so it's going to roll and rev quite a bit earlier
I thought the same thing about that ball. I described it as a "bad girlfriend", I wanted to like it and it would be good sometimes but ultimately didn't like me 😢.
This sounds a lot like the difference between the Halo and Halo Pearl to me (although less strong)
Yes and no. The halo and halo pearl did have different covers, so the halo pearl was quite a bit weaker, and was a pretty good ball but really just too far away from the halo to really be a complement or direct ball down

Saw a new Summit solid R2S releasing overseas, would like to see it stateside hopefully. I'm lookin for somethin to step down from my Marvel Maxx (NeX Hybrid polished). Thinkin R2S would let that core boom alil more then the TX covers. Loooove my Hustle Rip when Marvel Maxx is burning up but its a big step away, Fate was there in my ares but its just to blah lane shined and w surface only good on fresh if Mrvl to much ball to start.
It's confirmed to be a stateside release. The Korean flyer shows it's a "2024 Catalogue" release which means worldwide not just OEM/overseas.
Storm also had it on the ball return in their Harsh Reality Pearl video with Kloempken
Yeah I have a preview video sitting and waiting for them to announce it. I'm trying to be nice, but they leaked it themselves last week. It showed up on the website with the information all wonky for a while before they finally realized it was there and took it down.
I'm on the fence, because it could also be in original TNT territory where the core was too strong for the cover. Theoretically the cleaner weaker cover will give it some more length and shapes but it could also be a case where the core is trying to do things the cover can't keep up with and be over/under the opposite direction.
@@LukeRosdahl I'm on the fence too. I've been wanting to see more medium strength cores and covers. I'd rather see R2X or R3S again over R2S or REX.
